- Hungarian-born pioneer animation producer and distributor (Out of the Inkwell, Felix the Cat) who began as a private secretary to Harry Warner. After falling out with Felix creator Pat Sullivan, she went to work for the Walt Disney Company as editor of the Alice in Wonderland cartoons, for which she also created a Felix-lookalike character named Julius.
- Along with her husband, producer Charles Mintz, she is a maternal great-grandmother of actor Christopher Mintz-Plasse, through their son William.
- Was a Hungarian Jewish immigrant. Her parents were Katherine/Catharina (Deutsch) and Leopold Winkler.
