- This 1930s model and magazine cover-girl was employed, as often as not, as a beautiful "living statue" in early 1940s Hollywood Technicolor films, strictly to prettify a movie set while hardly saying a word. However, she did play talking characters such as "Nyoka the Jungle Girl" in 1940s black-and-white "B" serials.

Takako Irie was born on 7 February 1911 in Tokyo, Japan. She was an actress and producer, known for Sanjuro (1962), The Water Magician (1933) and Kono taiyô - Dai ippen (1930). She died on 12 January 1995.- After serving in the U.S. Navy during World War II, Art Bucaro used his GI Bill to fund his professional training at California's prestigious Pasadena Playhouse. Over the next two decades he acted in numerous Los Angeles area plays and appeared in a variety of film and television roles, most notably in Disney's production of Mary Poppins (1964). In the mid-1960's, he changed careers to pursue another of his life-long passions, aviation. Never giving up his love of the stage, Art became an important contributor to the establishment and growth of several theatre companies in Los Angeles' Antelope Valley where he served as actor, director, collaborator and, most importantly, valued friend. After his passing, Palmdale Repertory Theatre established a scholarship in his name to help train the next generation of actors in the craft that he pursued and loved for a lifetime.
- Tino Carraro was an Italian stage, television and film actor. Born Agostino Carraro in Milan, he started acting at young age in several amateur stage companies. Carraro then graduated at the Accademia dei filodrammatici, and in 1941 he got his first personal critical success with his performance in an adaptation of "Anna Karenina". In 1952 he made his film debut, in the Duilio Coletti's war film "I sette dell'Orsa Maggiore". The same year, Carraro became first actor at the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, starting a long and critically appreciated collaboration with the director Giorgio Strehler. Carraro is also well known for his television work, which include some very successful Rai miniseries, particularly Sandro Bolchi's "Il Mulino del Po", I Miserabili and "I promessi sposi" and Vittorio Cottafavi's "A come Andromeda".
