Willing to be an actor, Artur Agostinho did become one and from his teens (when he was an amateur player at the Campelido Atlético Clube) to the last days of his long life, he appeared on the screen, big or small (O Leão da Estrela (1947), Encontro com a Vida (1960), Sonhos Traídos (2002), ...).
