In 1921, "Mothers of Men" was re-released under the title "Every Woman's Problem."
Mothers of Men (1917) was restored in March 2016 by the San Francisco Silent Film Festival. Because no copies of the original 1917 release are known to survive, the restoration is based on a 35mm tinted nitrate print of the re-released version, Every Woman's Problem (1921), that is preserved at the BFI National Archive.
To help promote the movie, the song "Mothers of Men" was composed by Gus Edwards, with lyrics by Will D. Cobb.
