This marks the second time in the final three films of her career that Priscilla Lane performed as a character named Brewster. Several years earlier she had acted in Arsenic and Old Lace (1944), and her character in that film married a Brewster toward the end of the film. Possibly her using the same name in this, her final film appearance, was some kind of inside joke.
