As Martin dies, he falls with his right hand, holding the knife, stretched out to his right side. In the next shot, a close-up, his right arm is bent upward so that his right hand is next to his face. In the next shot, the arm is stretched out to the side again.
Phantom Bullet: During the struggle in his office, Niles fires his gun, missing Marty but killing the woman eavesdropping outside the frosted glass door. Yet the glass does not shatter, nor is there a hole in the surrounding woodwork or plaster...as if the sound alone killed her.
During Candela's visit with the Rome family, Mama brings out a tray with a wine decanter and two glasses. She only fills Candela's glass and puts the decanter down on the far left side of the table where she is standing. Neither Mama, Candela, nor Papa move the decanter, but when Candela says stands up and says he must go, the decanter is now on the opposite site of the table and Papa is finishing off a glass of wine.
The Niles law office. Behind secretary is W.A. Niles, Attorney at Law painted on the window. From the scene out the window they must be on the 30th floor. Nobody can read 4" letters at that height or perspective but a bird flying by so in reality it was a waste of money and a waste of the sign mans time bothering to paint it.
When Martin stabs Niles in the back in his law office, the switchblade is barely long enough to get through the thickly padded chair back. At most one or two inches of the tip pierces Nile's back.
At the end when Lieutenant Candella asks Tommy to help him get in the police car, he leaves the pistol he had just fired on the steps and didn't take it with him.
