Violence & Gore
- Vicky dances off a high balcony, committing suicide by falling on the railroad track in front of a fast approaching train (off-camera). She is shortly thereafter seen with some blood on her as she is tended to.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The scene where Vicki is hit by a train could be frightening to some viewers, although we don't see her being hit by the train - just the aftermath where there is some blood, and she is obviously dying.
- On Vicki's wedding night, Lermontov , in frustrated jealousy, smashes a mirror with his fist after receiving a telegram announcing that she and Julian have just been married.
