The week Sturgill Simpson’s breakthrough, generation-defining second album, Metamodern Sounds in Country Music, was released, the Number One song on country radio was Brantley Gilbert’s Nickelback-ified ode to women in short shorts and the boys who bring them to the tailgate. It was called “Bottoms Up,” and it wasn’t an aberration: The climate on Music Row in 2014 was still eagerly chasing the bro-country sound that Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line, and Gilbert helped turn into a reliable cash cow. So much so that the only single by...

Paris Hilton is a name that is synonymous with the word “famous.” The heiress to the Hilton hotel empire has been in the spotlight for over two decades, from her infamous reality show to her fragrance and fashion lines.
In 2009, however, she made an unexpected guest appearance on the popular TV series, Supernatural, playing a fictionalized version of herself. Despite her limited acting experience, Hilton impressed the show’s creator, who praised her for being a “hell of a good sport.”
Paris Hilton starred in an episode of ‘Supernatural’
In Supernatural Season 5, Hilton appeared in the fifth episode titled, “Fallen Idols.” In the episode, Sam and Dean Winchester, the show’s protagonists, investigate a case where famous people’s dead bodies are coming back to life and killing their fans. According to IMDb, Hilton played herself, but with a twist. She was a pagan goddess that the Winchester brothers had to defeat.

Memes are acts of beautiful futility. They aren’t jokes, but they’re meant to be funny, and a great meme thrives through a lack of context — try to explain them, and they immediately become ineffective. Most importantly, all memes have a shelf life. The BoyBoy West Coast‘s “U Was At The Club (Bottoms Up)” was a great meme. It just got its official release but, unfortunately, it may be too late for it to capitalize on its viral status.

Following an Emmy Award-worthy introduction from Stephen Colbert (“Okurrr?“), the remaining six queens on Thursday’s Drag Race buckled in for an evening of butts, bots and Boniva.
Mini Challenge: Pants Down, Bottoms Up
In a game very true to its name, this week’s mini challenge was basically Memory — only instead of matching words or pictures, the queens picked various shirtless gentlemen to drop their pants in the hopes of matching pairs of undies. It was basically just an excuse to check out some butts and yell stuff like “Do you you want fries with that shake?”
Winner: Aquaria...
