- To receive a PG certificate in the UK all cinema and video versions were cut by 2 secs to remove the swearing from 'We're gonna have the happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny fucking Kaye.'
- The UK PG Blu Ray version has the uncut Danny Kaye line.
- The special edition DVD in addition to the Blu ray, digital platforms and current TV airings plastered the Warner Bros. logo with the 2001 variant and also featured the 2001 logo as the extra closing logo. But in post-2021 airings on TBS, it had the 2003 logo at the start and 2018 logo plastering the closing line art WB shield.
- On the TBS and TNT airing, the credits are in a box with a black screen in the background. Some scenes are shortened (for example the tree scene and pool daydream scene.) And cut on these airings too.
- The 2022 on Cartoon Network, although retains the post-2021 TBS version, contained a major error where it featured the end credits from Vacation (1983).
