- Vaughn: [Vaughn takes the phone from Roberts] Hello.
- Roberts: You violated our agreement.
- Vaughn: You listen to me; I'm sick and tired of these games. Here's how were going to do things...
- Roberts: Your angry, good. You can channel that into your next assignment.
- Vaughn: No... No... No more assignments, you got what you asked for.
- Roberts: You didn't abide by the terms of our deal, the price has just gone up. Disobey again and we'll continue to do so.
- Vaughn: No, that's it, I'm done.
- Roberts: Check beneath the table.
- Vaughn: What?
- Roberts: Beneath the table, there's an envelope, open it.
- [Vaughn opens the envelope and sees pictures of a man he believes could be his father]
- Roberts: If you still wish to back out, feel free to do so.
- Vaughn: He's a... alive...
- Roberts: Your father's very much alive, the question, Mr. Vaughn, is how far are you willing to go to find him.
- Sydney Bristow: [Vaughn calls Sydney and she answers] Hello... Vaughn... Vaughn say something
- [Vaughn closes his eyes and makes up his mind and closes the phone]
- Vaughn: [Sydney opens door and sees Vaughn on the other side] Hey...
- Sydney Bristow: Hi...
- [They embrace she kisses his cheek]
- Vaughn: [He takes a deep breath and sighs] He's dead Syd... My Father... He's been dead all along. I think... You know, I've... I've lived with his death for so long that I would've done anything just to see him again. But then I realized that, my father, he would have never left my mom and me, not for anything. The man I knew would have never walked away from the people he loved.
- Sydney Bristow: How did you know?
- Vaughn: Because I couldn't either.
- [Smiles at Sydney for a moment and then sighs]
- Vaughn: It was Sloane; I should have seen it all along. I swear to God Syd, I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch.
- Sydney Bristow: Come inside, there's something I have to tell you.
- Vogel: Mr. Sloane, I'm sorry to report, Mr. Sloane, we didn't recover the manuscript, and Roberts hasn't reported in.
- [We see the Sloane clone for the first time]
- Another Mr. Sloane: I see, nothing changes, everything proceeds, as planned.
- Sabina: [Sabina is cleaning Vaughn's wounds] I've seen worse. Use a few stitches I suppose.
- Vaughn: That won't be necessary.
- Sabina: Fine, let it scar, who knows it may toughen you up again. I saw the look on your face when I killed that guard. I saved your life
- Vaughn: Thanks...
- Sabina: Don't tell me you're torn up inside. I thought you agency boys were tougher than that.
- Vaughn: It was him or me, I'm okay with that.
- Sabina: Could've fooled me, you haven't stopped brooding since we left the hospital.
- Vaughn: Well, maybe it's because I don't like being here... With *you*.
- Sabina: You know what I think?
- [Sabina moves in closer to Vaughn and whispers in his ear]
- Sabina: This is exactly where you want to be.
- [She kisses his neck, and moves her kisses closer to his mouth]
- Sabina: [Vaughn acts like he is going along with it until she is off guard and quickly turns angry and pins her to the bed]
- Vaughn: Consider this the second time you've been rejected by the CIA.
- Roberts: [to the group that will be pulling off the job] This is Mike.
- Sabina: Is he any good or just eye candy?
- Roberts: Like I said, he's the man with the technical skills to get we need done. This is Sabina, this is Gregor, and that's Jan over there.
- Jan: Hi
- [In a heavy accent]
- Gregor: Can I pour you a pint?
- Vaughn: I don't usually drink until the jobs finished.
- Gregor: You drink with me, or cut bullets with Jan. Your choice...
- Vaughn: Yeah... Well, how about I do neither and you tell me why the Hell we're here.
- Sloane: [after Nadia visits Katya in prison to ask about her mother] What did she tell you?
- Nadia Santos: Nothing I didn't already know. That she was a criminal, a murderer.
- Sloane: Sweetheart, no one is a single thing.
- Marshall Flinkman: You're probably going to want to kill me once I tell you this, but I ran some tests.
- Jack Bristow: What kind of tests?
- Marshall Flinkman: You may be very sick Mr Bristow. Now you'll need additional blood work...
- Jack Bristow: I thought I made myself clear Marshall; this is not something that I care to discuss.
- Marshall Flinkman: I understand... Just hear me out. You have a mutation.
- Jack Bristow: Marshall, I've heard enough.
- Marshall Flinkman: Damn it, you may not care what happens to you, but what happens to you affects other people, Sydney, for example. Have you thought about that? You need to see a doctor now!
- Eric Weiss: Uhhh... You heard from Vaughn?
- Sydney Bristow: [shakes head] Not yet.
- Eric Weiss: Gotta be tough on him right? Going to see his uncle and all you can do is watch him die. Nothing you can do about it.
- Sydney Bristow: Yeah...
- Eric Weiss: My mom used to do stuff like that.
- Sydney Bristow: Like what?
- Eric Weiss: Scrub the sink; when she was worried about stuff that was out of her control.
- Sydney Bristow: I like a clean sink.
