The Chicago Fire Season 12 finale left fans with several cliffhangers.
One storyline revealed that firefighter Jack Damon (played by Michael Bradway) was the son of Benny Severide.
Benny was also the father of Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney), making it a huge revelation for the firehouse.
While that final moment between Jack and Kelly impacted viewers, it overshadowed another unresolved storyline.
Earlier in the episode, firefighter Sam Carver was part of a call where it appeared that a young man was abusing his brother, and the father wasn’t doing anything.
It resurrected trauma that Carver had experienced in his childhood, and it only got worse when Violet Mikami accused Carver of still having feelings for Stella Kidd.
Carver left the firehouse after that fight and we later learned he had taken another furlough. Carver was then shown sitting in his vehicle and not answering calls from Violet.

It's been less than six months since tragedy struck Port Charles and Trina Robinson said goodbye to the love of her life, Spencer Cassadine. During their several years of romance, the couple became the most popular of General Hospital's new generation of characters, even earning the title of super couple.
It was expected that Trina would grieve, but after showing two episodes of that, the writers of General Hospital decided that was enough and brought in another character to introduce Trina to. And even though the scene was a copycat of one of Spina's most important moments, the viewers aren’t sold on him yet.
General Hospital’s Gio Palmeri Actor
While viewers may be on the fence about a possible romance with Trina, they are very likely to fall in love with the new character. After years of begging for some fresh blood, General Hospital fans finally have a...

The One Chicago shows may be on summer hiatus, but the social media teams are still in action.
A new video called One Chicago Set Tours: Hiatus Edition was shared online.
In the video, fans can experience quick tours of each set.
This is a nice treat for fans who may have difficulties waiting for new episodes to roll out.
Since the shows also had shortened seasons due to the Hollywood strikes, it felt like everything ended abruptly this past spring.
But while we wait for the Fall 2024 schedule to begin at NBC, it’s nice to get a small look behind the curtain.
Set tours shared for Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, and Chicago P.D.
“Missing our favorite places this One Chicago Wednesday,” reads the quick caption to a new Instagram post.
Soothing music plays in the background as cameras present a look behind the scenes.

As a small-screen veteran, Zachary Quinto is no stranger to building a television persona, much like the role in Heroes that made him a household name.
The actor then went on to be a veteran of the hit horror show American Horror Story, appearing in multiple seasons starting as early as 2022, during the show's eleventh season.
Now, the TV titan is trying his hand at a medical drama, which has become its own creature in the television industry.
But if there's one thing the actor is good at, it's coming across as calm and collected, much like his character Spock from the Star Trek films.
Brilliant Minds is on NBC's fall line-up, and here is everything we know about the show so far!
What Is Brilliant Minds about?

Amazon MGM Studios is doubling down on its working relationship with Jensen Ackles after bringing the Supernatural alum aboard the hit television series The Boys for a new episodic drama, Countdown. The project hails from Chicago’s own Derek Haas, the writer and producer of shows like Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and more. Haas inked an exclusive deal with Prime Video after exiting Wolf Entertainment. Countdown is the first project to come from the pact.
Haas designed Countdown for Jensen Ackles after the Batman voice actor entered a first-look deal with Amazon MGM Studios for his production company Chaos Machine Productions. Ackles established the banner with his wife, Danneel Ackles, after his show-stopping role as Soldier Boy on The Boys.

Djawadi’s music for “Game of Thrones” became a sensation during the HBO fantasy series’ eight-season run, which concluded in 2019. He won two Emmys, for his music in the seventh and eighth seasons, and later conducted it with symphony orchestras and choirs during world tours in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Jensen Ackles is set to lead a new action-thriller series at Amazon Prime Video from “One Chicago” alum Derek Haas, Variety has learned.
Titled “Countdown,” the official logline states the show begins “following a suspicious murder in broad daylight, which leads to LAPD officer Mark Meachum (Ackles) being recruited to join a secret task force of undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement to investigate. But as the truth of a more sinister plot comes into focus, the team must overcome their conflicting personal agendas to unite and save a city of millions.”
Amazon has given the show a 13-episode order. Haas created the series and serves as executive producer and showrunner. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios. Ackles and his wife Daneel’s production company, Chaos Machine, is currently under a first-look deal at Amazon MGM studios, while Haas is now under an overall deal at the studio.

If you want to watch Charlie Barnett star in a Leslye Headland show about complex people navigating sci-fi constructs, you now have multiple choices – the Russian Doll star has followed that series’ creator into The Acolyte. This time, he’s not stuck in a time loop, but instead plays highly-strung Jedi Knight Yord Fandar, unravelling the Force-centric murder-mystery at the core of Headland’s Star Wars show.
Empire sat down with Barnett to talk his entry into the Star Wars universe, his fandom of the animated series, why he initially wanted a purple lightsaber, and Jedi rivalries.
Empire: Were you a Star Wars fan going into The Acolyte?
Charlie Barnett: I am, and was, a Star Wars fan. But I say that with acknowledgment to the levels of Star Wars fandoms. I am not a Bible. I am a fan from the joy I have gotten since I was...

5. No Mystery, Politics, or Police Work
Political intrigues, police-like investigations, and enigmatic events are cool and all, but they’ve been severely overdone in the past few seasons. Chicago Fire doesn’t need to pretend to be other shows for fans to love it. Showrunners need to stop throwing in a bunch of political drama and detective show elements where they’re blatantly not needed — and focus on itself.
4. New Central Points, Not Stellaride
Speaking of the interpersonal drama that’s a prerequisite element of any long-running TV show, the focus on Stella Kidd and Kelly Severide’s relationship has long overstayed its welcome. Let these two finally solve most of their problems and settle down with each other — and let’s see what’s going on with, well, the other dozens of characters. How about that?

10. Benjamin Severide
While not exactly the most morally perfect character, Benny Severide was definitely a memorable one. Chief Boden’s former colleague and a legendary firefighter, he was a terrible family guy at best — and yet fans couldn’t help but want more of him on the screen… That’s not Benny’s achievement as much as late Treat Williams’.
9. Erik McAuley
Another massive charmer, Erik McAuley is primarily known as the one paramedic who managed to piss off everyone in Firehouse 51. His condescending remarks and annoying attitude might have been infuriating for his on-screen colleagues, but many fans genuinely loved the man for his classic Debby Downer personality.
8. Tom Van Meter

The latest Chicago Fire news that really shook everyone up was that of Chief Wallace Boden’s exit from the show. Having been the staple of the series since Day One, Boden is already missed tremendously, but it’s too early to cut our losses: admittedly, there’s a good chance we’ll lose another important character, at least for the foreseeable future. Things aren’t looking too hot in Firehouse 51 right now.
Another Unexpected Exit From Chicago Fire
Chief Boden’s leave to become the new Cfd leader was at least explicitly stated and realistically, it was a long time coming. But Sam Carver’s disappearance most definitely wasn’t!
According to Stella Kidd, Carver simply “took a furlough” after his conflicts with Severide’s brother Jack Damon and his lover Violet Mikami, but come on: we’ve seen quite a few of these “furloughs” and “temporary leaves” lately.

Fire Country Season 2 ended on a positive note, with our favorite bad boy out of prison and back in society. What's next for Bode without firefighting?
Meanwhile, our favorite redeemed bad guy, Manny, is back in cuffs after years on the straight and narrow. It will be a long wait for Fire Country Season 3 to find out if he's going back to prison or free.
We started with a Bode-Gabriela breakup to start the season and a wedding of Gabriela-Diego to close the season out.
We saw a wedding, but did we witness a marriage? Bode still loves Gabs, and we're sure she loves him. So, did she marry wrong-guy Diego? The only "I do" we actually heard was from Manny.
Maybe there's hope for Bodela when Fire Country Season 3 returns. Here's our breakdown of Fire Country Season 2.

The MGM+ original drama series “Godfather of Harlem” has cast “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “How to Get Away with Murder” actor Rome Flynn as a recurring guest star during the show’s upcoming fourth season.
Flynn will portray Frank Lucas, a country boy from North Carolina who ventures to Harlem and, after initial friction with gangster Bumpy Johnson (Forest Whitaker), eventually rises to become Bumpy’s fiercest defender and right-hand man.
Academy Award winner Denzel Washington first portrayed Frank Lucas in the 2007 film “American Gangster,” which is loosely based on the criminal background of the real-life gangster who operated a drug empire in New York City during the late 1960s and early 1970s. In the TV series, the character’s story will begin ten years earlier than in the film.

Chicago Fire Season 12 has come to an end, and now we're turning our attention to the next installment.
Was this season our favorite? No, definitely not.
But it had its moments, and it certainly set us up for some major drama when the show returns in the fall.
After the stunning revelation that Eamonn Walker will not be returning (at least not in the same capacity), we're left to wonder how 51 will handle a leadership change.
Plus, several huge relationship-related bombs were dropped during the season finale that season 13 will have to address.
Does Violet love Carver back? Will next season deliver a Stellaride baby? How will Kelly deal with the news of another long-lost half-sibling?
Chicago Fire Season 2 Episode 7 Review: No Regrets
Hopefully, all these questions and more will be answered when the show returns.
For now, here's everything we know about what to expect from Chicago Fire Season 13.

Season 12 of Chicago Fire was definitely one of the most emotional seasons to date, despite being the shortest. In fact, perhaps the need to cram so much into so few episodes is what made the season hit hard, giving viewers little to no time to catch their breath before another big storm hit.
As the season began with the departure of Blake Gallo and then quickly moved on to the final exits of Sylvie Brett and Matt Casey, fans didn't expect anyone else to go. However, as the finale approached, more devastating news broke: Eamonn Walker was leaving as a series regular.
Casey and Brett's Easter Egg in Season 12 Finale
As sad as it was to say goodbye to Chief Boden, there were two things to be happy about. First, he wasn't gone forever. Even though he won't be appearing as much as he used to, now that he's the Deputy Commissioner,...

It has been nearly 14 years since Chicago Fire first graced our screens.
As the original series that spawned an entire TV universe, the firefighter-focused arm of One Chicago has remained widely popular.
Throughout Season 12, Chicago Fire brought in between five and seven million viewers each week.
This season was full of ups and downs, and we're finally ready to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly.
From Severide's return to Sylvie's exit, many characters were in and out this season.
Jack Damon and Lizzie Novak (if that is even her name) joined the crew, while Boden's big promotion took him off the roster.

Chicago Fire is one of the most popular shows on NBC and it has been since its premiere in 2012. For 12 years now, the show has kept viewers on the edge of their seats, waiting for the next twist and turn that the iconic procedural drama has to offer.
Now in its season 12, the show is going through many changes both in storylines and in characters as well. A lot of recurring cast members left the show recently, but it wasn't their departure that made fans gasp.
Although the deaths of these three characters happened many years ago, fans still lose sleep over the way they were killed off. The fandom is sure that they all deserved a better send-off.

The Chicago Fire season finale saw the series say goodbye to a beloved cast member. That character was Chief Wallace Boden (Eamonn Walker) and the moment was emotional, both on screen and behind the scenes. However, there might have been one other departure that the show kept hidden.
Here is a look at someone else who might have left Chicago Fire after the Season 12 finale.
Could Chicago Fire Have Lost Another Star?
The department team and fans at home were saying goodbye to Chief Wallace Boden. The chief chose to resign as he wanted to take on the role of the Chicago Fire Department’s Deputy Commissioner. He won that job and he will still show up in a recurring guest role, but is finished as a full-time regular cast member.
The episode ended with the team saying goodbye to Boden. There were tears, congratulations, and well-wishes going around. However,...

The Chicago Fire season finale saw the team say goodbye to a popular character. While the character won’t be leaving the show for good, it is time for him to step down as a main cast member for the first time since the show originally premiered. Now, Eamonn Walker has spoken up about his time on the series and why he had to leave.
Here is what Eamonn Walker said about the Chicago Fire season finale and Boden moving on.
Eamonn Walker On Leaving Main Chicago Fire Cast
Eamonn Walker has played Chief Wallace Boden since the first season of Chicago Fire. He has been a hard-nosed, but fair fire chief for the station. However, like all good things, it had to come to an end. The good news is that Boden left his position on his own volition.

The Chicago Fire season finale featured a fond farewell to Chief Wallace Boden.
Fans tuning in for the final episode of Season 12 saw Boden become the Deputy Commissioner. It’s a role that takes him away from Firehouse 51.
The family he had created at the firehouse sent him off with well-wishes, as Boden looked to make changes for the Chicago Fire Department from the inside.
Eamonn Walker has played the role since the very first season, but his run as a series regular has ended.
This was sad news revealed to Chicago Fire fans, especially those shocked by what happened during the season finale.
Walker always had a great scene presence as Chief Boden, so the show’s tone may shift when Chicago Fire Season 13 debuts in the fall.

The workdays of the Firehouse 51 are filled with heroics and danger. But their interpersonal relationships are also full of problems and conflicts. Chicago Fire wouldn't be Chicago Fire if it weren't for sudden plot twists. And the Season 12 finale gave viewers one of those.
Jack Damon Was a Suspicious Character from The Very Start
Jack Damon appeared on the show only recently, in Episode 10 of Season 12, but he has already managed to make a lot of noise and raise a lot of suspicion among viewers. He replaced Derrick Gibson, who left Firehouse 51 due to mental health issues. However, the warm welcome for the new team member quickly turned to distrust.
Darren overheard Damon's rather suspicious phone conversation in which he said: "That isn't the only reason why I'm here. No, no, nobody here knows. And I'll keep it that way for as long as I want."

Chicago Fire revealed a huge twist during its Season 12 finale.
Much of the episode was spent saying goodbye to Chief Boden, but several other important storylines played out.
Eamonn Walker played Chief Boden on the Chicago Fire cast. The character had been a father figure on the show since Season 1.
As the episode said goodbye to one father figure, it also dealt with a bad father that Truck 81 had to deal with on a call.
That call led to some bad things getting brought up for firefighters Sam Carver and Jack Damon.
It was clear that Carver was triggered by a brother possibly burning another brother, but we didn’t learn what bothered Damon until much later.
As the episode ended, Damon revealed to Kelly Severide that his father was Benny Severide.

It’s safe to say that the 12th season of Chicago Fire will forever be remembered as one of the most bittersweet ones. With so many exits from the cast mixed with some of the sweetest events in characters’ lives, the show has taken its viewers on a rollercoaster of emotions, leaving them eager to see more.
Luckily, NBC has already made a decision and officially renewed all One Chicago shows for yet another year. The only thing the viewers hope for is a little more stability in Firehouse 51, however, with the new Chief taking over Boden’s place, it may not be the case at all.
Why Did Eamonn Walker Leave Chicago Fire?

We finally got the excitement we've been waiting for all season!
After twelve episodes in which nothing terribly jaw-dropping happened but several big questions formed for viewers, Chicago Fire Season 12 Episode 13 delivered a season finale that delivered all the heat we've been missing.
This was the perfect way to cap off the season, and I'm satisfied with how the episode concluded.
This is the first time all season that I can remember feeling on the edge of my seat.
As always, a lot was going on throughout the hour, but it felt cohesive and organized.
There was some suspense, but so many of the questions we've been asking for months have been answered, and I feel so relieved.

Spoiler Alert: This story contains storylines from “Never Say Goodbye,” the May 22 Season 12 finale of “Chicago Fire.”
It was a night for goodbyes on “Chicago Fire.” The Season 12 finale was the final episode for Eamonn Walker as Battalion Chief Wallace Boden. The actor, who has served as the chief of Firehouse 51 since the series debuted in 2012, will no longer appear as a series regular beginning next season.
After a hard call, Boden decided to throw his hat into the ring for the job of Deputy Commissioner, mostly because those in the running (specifically Chief Robinson) wouldn’t be able to lead in a way that the department deserves. If he was to become DC, he’d have to leave 51 for good. After telling the team, he then told Herrmann (David Eigenberg) that in the slim chance he got the promotion, he’d like him to take over his job.

He also catches up with Severide (Taylor Kinney), who filled in for him while he was gone, and the lieutenant remarks on how much of his job is counseling, something that Herrmann (David Eigenberg) has a knack for. We finally know why Tracy Spiridakos decided to leave Chicago P.D.
The announcement was made ahead of Season 11 that it would be her final season playing Detective Hailey Upton. But she never went public with the information.
Instead, Tracy let the season play out, and ahead of the season finale, she has finally addressed her departure.
Tracy joined the show at the end of Season 4, becoming an important part of the Intelligence team and vital to the show following the exit of Sophia Bush (she played Detective Erin Lindsay).
Her character had many fans, especially when Upton’s relationship with Detective Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) moved forward.
Many Chicago P.D. fans still share the hashtag UpsteadForever when posting about the couple and the show on social media.

A big change is coming to Firehouse 51. Longtime Chicago Fire cast member Eamonn Walker will make his last appearance as a series regular in the show’s May 22 season 12 finale. Unsurprisingly, Deputy Chief Boden’s exit will be an emotional one, based on a teaser for the upcoming episode.
Eamonn Walker says goodbye in ‘Chicago Fire’ Season 12 finale
Chicago Fire’s strike-shortened season 12 has already seen a few major cast shakeups. Kara Killmer (Sylvie Brett) and Alberto Rosende (Blake Gallo) left early in the season, and Jocelyn Hudon joined the show midway through the season as paramedic Lyla Novak.
Now, one of the NBC drama’s longest-serving cast members is on his way out. Walker has decided to leave the show after 12 seasons. Though he’s expected to be back in a recurring capacity in the future, his last episode as a series regular will be “Never Say Goodbye.” (NBC...

Hank Voight is in harm’s way during the Chicago P.D. season finale.
During the penultimate episode of Season 11, Voight was taken from his home after being seemingly drugged.
It appeared that Voight had been drugged, leading to hallucinations and immobilizing the Intelligence leader.
As Intelligence began zeroing in on a lead suspect in the serial killer case, his team had no idea that Voight had been taken.
When Detective Hailey Upton went by his house, she became suspicious that his car was there, his backdoor was unlocked, and Voight was missing.
Was Voight about to become the latest victim of a serial killer that had plagued Intelligence for most of the season?
