Los Espookys (2018)
I still want to love this, and will give it a few more episodes....
First, I love SNL. Love Fred Armisen and the various characters he depicted over the course of his time on the show. Also have no issues with watching shows/movies with subtitles. When I first heard the concept, I was intrigued...but I suppose I expected more impressive stunts for the troupe to pull off, even with their limited budget as a newly-formed group. I also would love to see more of how they made things happen that were highly entertaining, such as the swallowing bed. Further, the show lost me a bit with the mirror disappearance sci-fi bit...I'm just not sure what to make of this show, and perhaps that's the point. There are certainly flashes of interest, but I'm not sure that I will continue watching.
Perfect Bid: The Contestant Who Knew Too Much (2017)
The only reason I'm giving 3 stars...
Instead of zero, is that I appreciated getting a glimpse of game shows from the 80's. Quite frankly, the main character's obsession with TPIR seemed sad to me. I certainly appreciate his dedication to cataloguing and memorizing products sold on the show...it must have taken a lot of discipline. I hope he's moved on to bigger and better things.
Schitt$ Creek (2015)
Everyone should take a breathe...
This show and it's dry (wonderful) humor makes fun of rich people on one hand and small town folk on the other. It's easy to say that one or the other is wrong, but please watch all 4 seasons before you make your determination. In my opinion, all 3 Levy's, O'hara, Robertson, Elliott, Hampshire and Reid are tremedndous.
