The Nevadan (1950)
No stuntmen were harmed during the making of this movie.
The movie is not bad but it's not good either.
The sort of show I saw at a Saturday matinee 50 years ago and loved.
But watching it now the (very obvious) stuntmen have nearly as much screen time as the stars.
Sky Devils (1932)
Well worth watching.
I loved this movie. The first half in particular had some very funny moments. The second half slowed down a bit. But still worth watching. Some amazing low level flying scenes.
Impatience (1928)
Ho Hum!
This may have been exciting in its day but very boring now.
26 minutes of mind numbing long close ups of a womans face,
a motor bike engine, some very unstable hand held scenery just
plays like a first attempt to use a camera.
Mind numbing.
La valle dell'eco tonante (1964)
Like watching grass grow.
Absolute tripe. Don't bother.
Find yourself something constructive to do.
Up Jumped a Swagman (1965)
A Stinker!
I never got past the first 10 minutes.
It is the greatest load of tripe I have ever seen.
