- By means of archival footage, this mockumentary "reconstructs" how the Russians secretly realised the first manned flight to the moon as early as the 1930s.

The Afghan column disperses and geologists decide to go to Kabul. On their way they get information about an approaching soviet column, which would make their trip to Kabul much safer. But they dont know that they are already a part of the operation on the bridge.

- The 22nd of June, 1941. A usual morning in a usual children camp near the very frontier. Children are splashing in a river, and take the landing troops, coming down from the sky, with enthusiasm, thinking that this is a military training. But these are fascists. They drive all children together in a camp, fence them in a barblock and announce that all of them will soon be sent to Germany. The Soviet tank battalion, located nearby, makes an attempt to save the children, but is defeated. Only one tank driven by uncle Vasia (M.Chigarev) survived. Accidentally the survived tankman meets Michael, a boy who was ordered by Germans to burn pioneer neckties. He asks uncle Vasia to help him rescue children from captivity. The tankman agrees. The rescue of young pioneers operation starts on the only one tank with one little assistant.
- Hot summer, 1941. A small railway station near the front line. A group of criminals (a made man and a repressed general among them), are entrained in a carriage of a special military train. A young KGB lieutenant guards the convicts. Hardly the train covers a couple of kilometers, it is subjected to a German army assault, and the landing operation starts. After a short fight only 3 persons survive: young lieutenant, made man and political criminal. They head for the forest farther from the crashed train and pursuing Germans. The criminals, seemingly, can consider themselves as free, though, the lieutenant has another point of view and is intended to bring them to the destination place.

Together they manage to find the hidden corn and survive in uneven battle with bandits who rushed into a village.
