- Mary Brooks' father, who has been studying ancient tribes, falls into the hands of the people of Zar, god of the Emerald Fingers. Tarzan helps Mary locate her father, rescues everyone from the High Priest of Zar and takes Mary to his cave.
- U.S. marshal John Carruthers observes a robbery and Sheriff Jake thinks he may be the culprit. Meanwhile the town's leading citizen is planning to rob everybody blind.

- A cowboy is hired by an archaeologist to help find "Hidden Valley", where an Indian gold treasure is supposed to be buried. Just when he finds it, the archaeologist is killed, and the cowboy his charged with his murder.
- After having been swindled out of all their money by a crooked business manager, formerly wealthy socialites Jerry and Carol discover that they owe their chauffeur and maid back wages they are unable to pay. They're forced to let their former employees live in their luxury apartment in lieu of paying the money they owe them.
- Steele gets into a fight with a ranch foreman, knocking the foreman out. The foreman was supposed to represent the ranch in a prize fight with a middleweight champion. Now Steele finds himself in the fight of his life.
- The cattlemen send a note to Judge Jim Parker warning him to quit giving credit to the homesteaders, whom they assert, are ruining the range. Parker declares that his store will continue to give credit to the homesteaders and, incensed at his defiance, the cattlemen kill him. As he is dying, he tells his daughter Alice and Matt Sanders, honest blacksmith, to carry on the fight to protect the homesteaders. Matt declares that he will, with the assistance of his brother, Phillip, who is expected back from law school after an absence of many years. Phillip returns and is elected Judge by mostly the homesteaders vote. He is pleased with his new position, and also pleased with the friendship of Senator Graham who holds out the bait of election to the Governor's chair if he will betray the homesteaders. He persuades Alice to mortgage her water rights to Senator Graham in order to have the money to extend further credit to the homesteaders. Despite several machinations by Graham and the cattlemen, mostly blocked by Matt, the homesteaders make a bumper crop and pay Alice back. Taking the money to the bank so she will have it in time to meet Graham's note, a galloping rider takes it from her. Snowflake, who works for Matt, tells him of a conversation he overheard between Phillip and Graham when he was delivering a newly-shod horse to the Senator that reveals the Senator and Phillip connived to have the money stolen, so the mortgage can be foreclosed, and drive out the homesteaders. Matt refuses to believe the story, but finds proof in Phillip's desk. Matt and Phillip fight, with Matt winning and then going to rally the homesteaders to prevent the cattlemen from taking over.
- A French-Canadian girl is a champion bronc rider and is also a nightclub singer. An ambitious young man sees her act one night and is struck by her talent, realizing that she is good enough to become a Broadway star. He convinces her to accompany him to New York, where she indeed does become a Broadway star. However, the young man finds himself being squeezed out by greedy Broadway producers who see the talented young girl as their own personal gold mine.
- When the Mountie Sergeant returns murdered with a note that LaFarge did it, Trooper Burke sets out to after LaFarge. Working undercover, he saves LaFarge's life and this gets him into LaFarge's gang. He then arrests LaFarge and brings him in only to learn that LaFarge is not only innocent but is now a prisoner of the real killer.
- A sadistic, evil ship captain lusts after a beautiful young girl he spots in town. It turns out that she's the girlfriend of a young man whose father the captain had blinded and cast adrift on the ocean many years before.

- Nash makes fast talking salesman Graves the manager of a new oil well being drilled. Graves continues his sales pitch getting the townspeople to buy shares in the well. When Nash arrives, shuts down the well, takes the money and leaves, and the angry mob starts to gather, Graves is in trouble.
- Black Beauty is being trained to run in the steeplechase race, upon which the Cameron family has staked its fortune. However, the horse is injured racing for a doctor when its owner is hurt, and it looks like it won't recover in time to compete in the race.
