Years later, both Prem and Preeti are fated to meet again. This time Prem is accompanied by a handicapped young lad, Rahul, while Preeti is about to get engaged to Dr. Amar. Preeti soon realizes that the reason Prem has re-appeared in her life to be near her nubile to-be sister-in-law, Tikki. The question remains what will she do under the circumstances to try and expose Prem as well as protect her past from Dr. Amar? It turns out that Rahul is Prem and Preeti's son and that Prem has come to Dr.Amar for Rahul's treatment. Preeti's father had told her after the birth of the child that she had given birth to a still-born child. After Rahul's operation Preeti comes to know about the reality and confronts her father who confesses to her that he had lied about her giving birth to a dead child and asks her forgiveness but Preeti retorts saying that she an never forgive him as he had lied to her and thinks herself deceived by her own father. Rahul's operation turns to be successful and Preeti and Prem are reunited with their son along with their families.
- Abdullah is a devout Muslim who lives in a small hut the middle of a desert in Persia, and looks after a well so that it provides water to thirsty travelers. Then Khaleel's Magician informs him that he is going to die at the hands of Krishna, just as Bhagwan Shri Krishna was known to have slain Kans, his maternal uncle, so also will Khaleel's life end at this Krishna's hands. Angered at this, Khaleel sets out to kill Krishna. He attacks Abdullah, abducts Krishna and readies him for a sacrifice, that will get rid of any threat against him. Will fate intervene to save Krishna, or will Khaleel succeed in sacrificing him?

- Jeetu and Dolly are in love and would like to get married. After seeking Dolly's dad's blessing, they do get married and move in together. They live harmoniously for quite some time, until misunderstandings occur, minor molehills soon become mountains, and they separate and consult their respective lawyers to negotiate a divorce. When Dolly's dad finds out about this, he decides to pay them a visit. Alarmed that he will disapprove of their move to separate, both pretend to live together and show him that they are still in love. But truth has the nasty habit of showing up uninvited, and before long, acrimony breaks out in his presence.

- Thakur Jaswant Singh rules over the region with a iron hand. He has no pity or empathy for the poor, all he is interested in is their money, their women, and alcohol. After the passing away of his dad, he assumes total control over the region, and increases the taxes. One day while walking across the hallway, he trips over the wet floor, and falls down. He gets up angrily and assaults the old woman, Ramvati, who was washing the floor. His abuse is interrupted by the arrival of Ramvati's son, Jeeva, who intervenes. Jaswant is ready to shoot him down, but Jaswant's mom prevents him from doing so. Word gets around that Jeeva is in the bad books of the Thakur, and soon a number of people start consipiring against Jeeva. The next day Jeeva is summoned before the village council and asked to explain his involvement in the death of a cow. Jeeva has no satisfactory explanation, and he is asked to leave the village immediately with his mother. Jeeva refuses to do so, and is severely beaten, and thrown out. Shortly thereafter his mother passes away, and Jeeva decides to avenge her death by bringing about the downfall of Jaswant Singh. In order to do this, he becomes a dacait. Jeeva swears on the holy river Ganga to wipe out Jaswant Singh and his men, without knowing his decision will bring him into conflict with the police, and with the honest people from the very community he was exiled from.
- Bhola Nath is a young petty criminal/robber/pickpocket whom works with a female acomplice and his former lover, Sharmii. Bhola unknowlingly is the illigetimate son of a police officer, named Kumar, whom has been tracking a shadowy gangster, named Amanarchard Rathore, whom Kumar imprisoned 20 years before and has now been paroled and resumed his life of crime. Bhola was abducted by Amanarchard's henchmen as a little boy, but escaped and was raised by a veteran thief named 'Mr. John,' while his Lt. Kumar and his wife and other son have long belived that their other son was dead. Bhola and Sharmii stumble upon a manuscript for a book titled 'Chori Mera Kaam' during one of their robbery excursions belonging to Mr. John's former partner in crime which they sell to a shady publisher, named Parvin Bhai, which becomes a nationwide best seller. But it attracts unwanted attention from the police, the local mob, and the original writer himself.
- Vijay Varma (Amitabh Bachchan) and Ravi Kapoor (Shatrughan Sinha) are two close childhood friends. - India is in a state of war with Japan and former Colonel Kapoor's sons, Rajan and Ram are both with the Indian Armed Forces. While Rajan is a Wing Commander with the Indian Air Force, Ram is a Major with the Indian Army. Rajan is in love with a doctor named Usha Choudhury, and both plan to get married. Then Usha meets with Ram, who unknowingly falls head over heels in love with her. Before anything can be finalized, Rajan is asked to bomb a secret Japanes airport located in a mountainous valley. While carrying out his duties, he finds out that his mission has been compromised, unable to return, his plane is shot down and he is believed to be dead. The Indian Army wants to destroy this secret airport and sends a crack Commando unit under Major Ram, who sets out to carry out this task. What Ram does not know is that this mission has also been compromised and he and his men are all set to walk into a carefully planned trap by the Japanese - who will ensure that no one survives to tell this story.

- Ram Kumar Verma is an honest albeit unsuccessful Insurance Agent. His poor performance and a quick settlement for Renu and her mom gets him transferred to Madhya Pradesh. Ram Verma returns to his company and is heartily congratulated by his Manager and the General Manager even throws a party for Ram. Subsequently, the Manager realizes that the person Ram has insured is actually a wanted dacait and thug commonly known as Daku Nathiya, wanted by the police dead or alive. Fearing the collapse of the insurance company, the Manager coerces Ram to return to Madhya Pradesh and get Nathiya to cancel his insurance policy. Ram, in the interest of the insurance company, readily agrees and on the way to meet Nathiya, ends up saving Nathiya's son from a burning house, thus earning Nathiya's and his woman, Champa's gratitude. Ram finds out that Nathiya was otherwise known as Nathu Singh, a honest villager, with a beautiful wife, and a son Chander. A rich village lord, Thakur Ajit Singh, rapes and kills Nathu's wife, and as Nathu is unable to get justice, he turns into Nathiya, the dacait. Ram only wants Nathiya to cancel the policy, so that he can return home, and promises not to inform the police. Nathiya agrees to cancel the insurance policy and let Ram return home. But Sambha is not pleased with the favors being showered on Ram and rebels, and forces Nathiya to keep Ram prisoner. When Nathiya is injured, Champa asks Ram to bring in a medical doctor, and Ram brings Renu, and ultimately both Ram and Renu are also held by Sambha, while Nathiya lies unconscious. Meanwhile the police have launched a dragnet to capture Nathiya dead of alive. Will Ram and Renu return home to Ram's mother and sister, Sarla and his best friend Babu Khan? Will Nathiya and Champa survive the police dragnet?

- Dr. Sunil Gupta lives a wealthy lifestyle with his wife, Aarti. Although they have been married for several years, they do not have any children. When Vinod finds out that Aarti is basically alone most of the time, he proposes to her - but Aarti rejects him, a physical tussle ensues, Aarti grabs a revolver, a shot is fired, Vinod falls down the stairs and dies. Vidya assists Aarti in disposing off his body. A few days later, Sunil joins them in Khandala and brings home a male who claims that he has lost his memory - the male is none other than Vinod - and Sunil's diagnosis is that Vinod will gradually regain his memory. Watch what happens when Vidya and Aarti find out and the steps they take to prevent this from happening.

Suraj now calls himself Johnny and is an underworld don, who makes wax statues of people who betray him and beats up others who do not laugh at his jokes; Chandu has been adopted by a childless couple and is now a Police Inspector; Kavita is now Neeta, who has been adopted by a devious couple, who have sold her to a man named Mohan; while Geeta is a rough-and-tough woman of the streets, who makes a living through petty crime and is known to the Police. The paths of the four are fated to collide when Neeta is arrested by none other than Chandu for killing Mohan, and Geeta, when she finds out Neeta's real identity, takes it upon herself to find out who Mohan's real killer is - not knowing that this will throw her in the arms of a smuggler named Raja, as well as force her to confront Raja's boss - none other than Johnny himself.
- An honest Hindu pandit (priest) is framed for embezzlement and rape, and not only dismissed from employment, but also arrested and imprisoned, leaving behind his family in destitution. On his return from prison, he is unable to locate his family, and plans to avenge his humiliation. But the challenge is that how can a former pandit, ex-convict, penniless, homeless, and without any resources, avenge himself against the cunning and manipulative people who framed him?
- Kindly Dr. Gupta (Ashok Kumar) is preparing to retire, and hopes to marry his daughter Jyoti (Zarina Wahab) to his associate Dr. Anand (Parikshit Sahani). Anand does not have time to romance, or assist Dr. Gupta on his large egg farm, so he hires a college friend as property manager, Mukesh (Vijayendra). Jyoti is entranced by Mukesh, and against her fathers wishes decides to marry him. Mukesh has his eyes set on the good life, but unknown to Jyoti he is already married to Geeta (Sarika), whom he abandoned with a child when he found out she was Anpadh (illiterate). Dr. Gupta has an accident one night, injuring a woman named Geeta and brings her home to recuperate. He teaches her how to mingle with high society, dress and eat properly, and ensures the education of her son. In return for his decency and compassion, Jyoti prepares to marry Dr. Gupta. When her father arrives for the festivities, he recognizes Mukesh.
- A bachelor lets his superiors use his apartment for their trysts but then discovers that the woman he loves is in a relationship with his boss.

When Rai does not know is that Madan is not who he claims to be but is, in fact, a thief and pick-pocket by the name of Shankar, who has been hired by Asha to impersonate the real Madan. Watch what happens when the real Madan returns and attempts to assert his love for Asha.
- Daulat Singh and Bhairav Singh are bandits in India and live a violent lifestyle. Daulat is married to Shanta and has two children, Vijay and Geeta. One Diwali he accidentally kills a man, leaving behind a son and his mother almost destitute. Moved by their plight, he surrenders to the Police, is arrested, tried in Court, and sentenced to life in prison. Whatever money he earns in prison, he sends it to the widow and her son. Due to his good conduct, he is discharged after several years and returns home to his now grown-up Forest Officer son, and matured daughter. The village welcomes him back and also honors him. He meets with the local Thakur and arranges Vijay's marriage with his daughter, Gauri, who love each other. Inspector Prakash, Vijay's friend, has fallen in love with Geeta and Daulat is more than happy to get them married also. Geeta's marriage is arranged, but on that the day of the wedding, Prakash's mother recognizes Daulat as the man who killed her husband, and decides to cancel the wedding. An enraged Thakur also breaks off Gauri's marriage with Vijay, and decides to get her married to Bankelal. When Gauri objects to this marriage, Banke has Vijay abducted and forces Gauri to marry him, but Vijay manages to escape, kills Banke and joins forces with Bhairav Singh and other bandits. He exacts vengeance on Pyarelal by killing him thus pitting himself against his very own father, who disowns him, as well as Prakash who decides to entrap him on Raksabandhan albeit in vain. Prakash's mother has a change of heart when she finds out that Daulat has been providing for her financially all these years, and agrees to accept Geeta as her daughter-in-law. But before the marriage could take place, she angrily approaches Daulat and tells him that the wedding is canceled again - this time because Vijay has abducted Prakash. Watch what impact this has on Daulat, Geeta, Shanta, and the rest of the village.
- Akash, a medical student from a rich family, is also a well-respected poet and singer commonly known as Nishant. When he meets Shikha, an orphan and dancer, their relationship soon turns romantic, much to the disapproval of his parents.

Years later, Sunder has grown up to be a conman, and Shanker a black-marketeer. Both Sunder and Shankar meet without knowing each other's identity, and a confrontation takes place. When they realize they are related, they decide to expose Sonia, and open Teja's eyes, not knowing that Teja is completely blinded by Sonia's love, and will not let anyone to come between them.
- Sharad belongs to a middle-class family and lives with his brother and sister-in-law. Sharad gets a job in Malavli in which he is not interested. He however does go for the job where he meets Mr. Rodrigues and Mr. Choudhury who are initially rude to him, but afterwards mellow down. Both these men are on the look-out for grooms for their daughters. On the first day Sharad's boss takes him to his house for lunch where he is introduced to Heena, the Boss' daughter who falls in love with him. Then he gets introduced to Mr. Rodrigues' daughter too. But Sharad is in love with Renu(Ranjeeta), his neighbour. In the factory his assistant Mr.Kote (Ashok Saraf) wants to help him get out of the trap created by Mr. Chaudhury and Rodrigues. Kote spreads the rumour that Sharad does is not of chaste character. This however creates tensions between Renu and Sharad. Mr. Chaudhury starts believing that Kote is spreading the rumours in order to win the place of his son-in-law. At this juncture Sharad introduces Renu to all of them and all tensions are resolved.
- Orphaned Sohan Lal is a wealthy businessman based in Bombay. While on vacation in Kashmir, he meets with beautiful Neela, and after a few misunderstandings both fall in love, and get married. When they return to Bombay, his Manager, V.K. Saxena asks him to travel to London for some business, which he does. Three months later when he returns home, he finds that Neela has not come to receive him at the airport, then on the way home, he is attacked, abducted, and placed in a cell, where a woman, Gulabiya, tells him that she is his sweetheart. With her help he manages to escape, has an accident, ends up in hospital, where he gets to meet a woman who calls him her son. Baffled and exasperated at these turn of events, he returns home to get a very cold response from Neela, who is about to inherit Rs.70 Lakhs from her deceased uncle. While Sohan decides to find out what exactly is going on, and why his life is in shambles, he does not know that this knowledge may well cost him his life.

When Rajesh finds out about Shekar's sacrifice, he decides to let Seema marry Shekhar, and shortly thereafter the marriage takes place. While Shekar and Seema go off on their honeymoon, Rajesh commences his investigation into smuggling activities off the coast of Goa, and his investigations lead him to a suspect by the name of Tiger. Little does Rajesh know, that Tiger is none other an alias for Shekar, who will do anything to protect himself from Rajesh and the police.

- A young crusader struggles to free the poor peasants from the clutches of corrupt trustees of the town. He decides to take any measures to get justice.
- Thakur is a rich and wealthy man. He has two sons, the elder is Ram, who is married but frequents a prostitute Munnibai. The second son is Bharat, who is unmarried, and is good, virtuous, and devoted to his family, and expected to marry Roopa. While disciplining his elder son, Thakur has a heart-attack and passes away, leaving the administration of the estate to his younger son and daughter-in-law, the wife of Ram, Gayetri. This does not auger well with Ram and Mamaji, and they attempt to force Bharat to sign the estate over to them. When they fail, they conspire to kill him, and take over the estate from Gayetri. Bharat overhears this, and goes along with Ram's plan to kill him. He then returns as Daku Mangal Singh, his look-alike, in order to set things right. Things seem to be going well, until Bharat finds himself in a tight corner when he is accused of killing himself.

Six months go by and Anand does not return, the Thakur, along with Jackson and Lalita, also travel to India to bring him back. This is where they find out that Anand has been romancing Rajkumari Sanyogta and both are expected to get married soon. The Thakur is pleased with Anand's choice and gives his blessings to the young couple. Watch what happens when the Thakur finds out that Rajkumari is in fact a flower-selling belle from his hometown of Balrampur, and Anand may not be his son after all.
