Die Dokumentation führt von Hobbingen aus zu den unterirdischen Höhlen des Owen's Cliff, zum Mount Sunday mitsamt den Neuseeländischen Alpen im Hintergrund, ins feuchte und geheimnisvolle Fiordland und schließlich über die Vulkanregion Tongariro bis hin zur faszinierenden Vulkaninsel White Island vor der Küste der Nordinsel.
