- Dave Hidie is a troubled man. Seeking closure and peace of mind following the trauma of family bereavement, he and his wife have tried to move on. New home, new job, new friends. Everything should be coming together - if not for the visions, the voices...and the feeling that someone, somewhere, is trying to tell Dave something...something that will have shatteringly life changing effect. Dave is is experiencing the echoes of something deep and dark that should, perhaps, be left well alone.
- Altitude: 4000 meters. We find ourselves in the Andes, Perou. Up there, near the clouds, where the llamas used to graze, brown water springs from the rocks. A teacher and her pupils are sampling the murky liquid in order to analyse it in the school lab. Later, from the samples, the pupils diligently extract tiny 'bugs'. And where there are bugs, there is bound to be life, right? Wrong. There is lead. Those invertebrates are a scientific proof that the water is contaminated. But who wants to believe them? Like so many others, the survival of the community of Huayhuay depends on the mine.... And while a miner is witness to the upheavals jeopardising his job, his own daughter comes to believe that, one day, things may change.
- Narciso is a man with a personality disorder. He's talking in front of a mirror with his alter-ego about his girlfriend Sara, brutally murdered under mysterious circumstances. He's in the bathroom next to the crime scene where a police inspector is investigating about it. The dialogue between Narciso and his reflection turns into a challenge between the two personalities and many confusing memories comes back from his subconscious like flashback. Step by step the truth comes out in a continuous emotional growth. Who is going to win the day? What will Inspector find out during Narciso's interrogation after he comes out the bathroom?
- The film "Compro Oro" directed by Marino Bronzino from an idea by Toni Lama, produced by Nova RolFilm, FilmRouge and IK Produzioni, collects various testimonies of the experience of jazz musicians in the 60s and 70s, enhancing its characteristics as an industrial city, but also a hotbed of literary, social and musical ferments. It represents a small part of the great social and cultural mosaic of that period, reconstructing the musical ferment of the time through the testimonies and sounds of some of the protagonists.
