- Police search for a young man who shot and killed a customer during a grocery store holdup in Seattle, Washington. The young man wanted money because he was losing heavily in a poker game.

- Man with an Ahab complex seeks vengeance upon the cougar who killed his friend and hires Ripcord to take him high up into the mountains to hunt and kill the big cat. Or -- is something else going on?
- A girl is so eager to test her father's automatic ripcord invention that she lies and finagles her way into testing the invention herself -- with nearly fatal results.
- While instructing their pretty client Tanya Rovag, Ted and Jim become involved in trying to save her father's life from assassination by Communists, who are unwilling to let him publish the political exposé he has been secretly writing in the mountains.
- Jim nearly dies in an aerial trick, and doesn't want to jump again. Ted's on a job, and ends up hanging on the edge of a cliff, and Jim needs to come to his rescue.
