- Deep night. Into a motel's room of the Copenhagen suburb, Christian, a 19-year-old man has just finished to have sex with Lulu, an older prostitute of 38 years old. When the woman is ready to leave, the young man holds her and asks her to stay one more hour, just to talk with him. At the beginning she refuses, but later on she agrees to stay longer. From that moment the two characters start talking and, as the dialogue proceeds, their demons and their regrets come out. They are both bound to a desperate story of abandon: the woman is running away from her past of violence, but also from the terrible regret for the abandon of her son when he was only four. The young man is desperately searching his mother, who abandoned him 15 years ago.
- Ten classmates have disappeared on the evening of 3rd March 2011. The boys were in the family home of one of them, Fabio, for a party. But the next morning, none of them was still there. Gone, vanished into thin air. A few months later their parents receive an anonymous DVD, which contains the shooting of what happened the night of the party. They are not just shootings, but something similar to a real movie about that night. Edited, set to music, post-produced. But who shot that video? And why? The truth seems not to be hidden in the content of that video only. LA FESTA is THE FIRST MOVIE 2.0 A film event conceived and designed to be previewed in web distribution and free of charge, as well as to be shared on social media.
- "Everyone's loneliness is a maze and each relationship is a thread....that's why it takes two to get out of the maze." The lives of nine kids slides thinly from normality to confront a world of dreams, but also of sacrifice and dedication. Lucrezia's courage against her Mother's will, at such a young age, to hold on to the child when she discovers herself pregnant. Diamante in her isolation would prefer "a slap in the face" with fury, than the caresses that hide something else. Chicco discovering what the "real" world really is. Crisscrossing stories never easy and never obvious as the world we live in proves to be. When dreams seem like they are ending, when words aren't enough: music, dance and the discovery of Minosse comes to the rescue as fast as a heartbeat of life, provoking new ways possible to continue. No idealism here, no rhetoric "Fame" in this approach to cinema by Heather Parisi.
- Coming of age attempts to give a voice to those who make up the school, to those who render it alive and who, at times, may suffer from it: the children. They are the main actors in this microcosm, alongside the adult teachers who support them. The film gives the school back to the children. It places the camera at their level, scrutinizing the looks, gestures, movements, the dreams and desires of a class in a small school in Florence, Pestalozzi City-School. It offers no comments, judgments or interpretation from adults.
