- The arrival of an eccentric Rita Melanson propels her once-picturesque Acadian hometown into action when she accidentally buys both the church and the rectory. She finds herself forced to transform her newly acquired property into a profitable business with the hope of selling it. Easier said than done. Rita must contend with Lomer, her jilted ex-fiance-turned-town-mayor, looming overhead. Thankfully, she has allies: cousin Ferraille, a jack of all trades, best friend Yolande, a reluctant farmer, and Zoël, a young bohemian Québécois. Surrounded by an array of impulsive, poorly planned schemes, our merry band attempt to attract tourism and build a company to help inject new economic growth in their hometown. Tourists will definitely get their money's worth when they enter their « little Acadian cousins' » quirky, rural world. Rita Melanson's wondrous and adventurous universe welcomes you.
- -On each show, Patrick Thibeault takes six students in grades 4 and 5 to meet a producer from their region. They help him in his chores for a day and, at the same time, find out where the food in their fridge comes from. From animal husbandry to beekeeping and vegetable gardens, budding young farmers see it all. But pleasure is always at the rendezvous at 'Agrofun'.
- -The names Jacques Doucet and Alexandre Bilodeau are obviously associated with the 'Radio Radio' group. The two artists from Baie Sainte-Marie (in Nova Scotia, Canada), are featured in the documentary "Havrer à la Baie", directed by Joël A. Robichaud. It takes them back to the region of their childhood, to discover the people and places that are the pride of the Bay.
