- In a public sanatorium, mad poet Daniel accidentally meets night-watchman Valdisnei. Among laughs and arguments, they end up staying together the whole night at Daniel's jail cell. A simple night turns into a poetic and edifying moment.
- The film is an adaptation of the homonymous play staged by the theater group Os Satyros. More than 200 characters from the central region of São Paulo, including residents, prostitutes, drug dealers, businessmen, transsexuals, prostitutes, actors and musicians were interviewed. These testimonials were the starting point to build the trajectory of eleven characters that intersect during a night on the town.
- Interviews with transvestites who work at night in Praça Roosevelt, along with people from the theater, cinema, prostitutes and criminals. An unadorned view of what these people's lives are all about. The square during the day attracts faithful to its church and for many years it had an open market. Then, during the administration of Mayor Paulo Maluf, a horrendous "square" was built in reinforced concrete, which is still there today. The film - as it was made by people who work in the square, has a degree of sincerity in the testimonies rarely achieved in this type of interviews.
