Thanks to the direct testimonies of the protagonists interviewed in Rome, Sydney and Melbourne, personal stories intersect with unpublished period films and more recent footage. Between the 1950s and 1960s many Italians left for Australia in search of greater fortune. In "AUSTRALIAN DREAMS" the Natale's family story is presented to all intents and purposes as a fairy tale because they left Italy for the other part of the continent and leaving behind many economic difficulties, they managed over time and with hard work to realize their Australian dream, thus giving a happy ending to their adventure.
