- George Floyd's murder by Police is an example of the flash-point we find our nation in today. Funding for over-militarized police has not proven to be a solution, but has amplified a systemic problem deeply rooted in our society. Our powerful documentary takes a historical look at how racism in this country has been used to enslave, segregate, and punish ethnic minorities. Through this poetic and dramatic narrative we expose the violent behavior of white supremacy that Anglo Americans have continued to inflict on primarily African Americans. That began with slavery long before the Civil War. Imprisonment, Segregation, Jim Crow laws, Lynching, Voter Suppression and Police Brutality continue to quell any chance for ethnic minority equality. These issues are at the root of the Black Lives Matter movement in America today.
