For the first time, the world gets a glispmse of James Bond (Sean Connery), super spy 007 looking cool in a tuxedo and lighting a cigarette as he utters his signature introcution for the first time.
However, it has never been made clear whether he was parodying or imitating the delectable Trench or whether that was how he had always been introducing himself. An odd way to begin a conversation with a woman who nearly just drowned but the furious fist fight that followed immediately and his self deprecating quip "this never happened to the fellow" when the woman drives off in his car without so much a thank you, makes this a memorable scene.
