Not really scary - CreatorMick GarrisStarsMargherita DonatoValerie WhiteEric RobertsA television series broken down into 13 separate 60-minute films from premiere horror writers and directors. Not much to hate, but not much to love either. Very meh. Nothing is memorable.
Some episodes are kind of worth watching, as they are entertaining. In that case I recommend only seeing Eater, Community, Skin and Bones, Something With Bite. However, you can totally live without seeing any of them.
Not really scary. - CreatorMick GarrisStarsKaren Elizabeth AustinJ. Winston CarrollMiho NinagawaGenre veteran Mick Garris has amassed some of the greatest horror film writers and directors to bring to you the anthology series, "Masters of Horror." consisting of twenty six one-hour films over 2 seasons.Kind of a mixed bag. Some of them are absolutely amazing! It's kind of obvious when watching which ones are forgettable or bad so you can just skip them.
A must see!
Pretty scary. - DirectorJeff BurrStarsVincent PriceClu GulagerTerry KiserIn a small Tennessee town, a historian relates four horror stories to a reporter.Very forgettable and sub-par.
Not worth watching.
Not really scary. - DirectorJoe DanteJohn LandisGeorge MillerStarsDan AykroydAlbert BrooksVic MorrowFour horror and science fiction segments, directed by four famous directors, each of them being a new version of a classic story from Rod Serling's landmark television series. This is quite cheesy. I'm not against that sort of horror, I can enjoy it, but this one doesn't hit the mark at all. Only the final segment is worth watching. it is hilarious and quite well made.
One segment is worth watching!
Not scary at all. - DirectorBanjong PisanthanakunVisute PoolvoralaksPaween PurijitpanyaStarsJirayu La-ongmaneeRay MacDonaldChumphorn ThepphithakHorror anthology consisting of five segments by acclaimed Thai directors. Viewing the horrific contents of each cassette, they realize there may be dark motives behind the student's disappearance.I disliked it a lot. Maybe I was disappointed since I loved the first one.
Not worth watching.
A little scary. - DirectorBanjong PisanthanakunPaween PurijitpanyaYongyoot ThongkongtoonStarsManeerat Kham-uanWitawat SinglampongApinya Sakuljaroensuk4BIA is a Horror Anthology. The first segment, "Happiness" is about a lonely girl who corresponded with a stranger over hand phone text messaging and soon discovered something strange about this new stranger that she is attracted to. "Tit For Tat" spun a tale of black magic and vengeance for a school kid that had been bullied by a school gang. "In The Middle" - a group of friends faced one of their worst camping trip after water kayaking accident. The final segment "Last Fright" takes horror to new heights with a psychological thriller that involves a stewardess flying solo in a cabin with a dead body.A mixed bag. First and final segments are worth watching. Especially the last one, since it was quite scary!
Worth watching.
Pretty scary. - DirectorFruit ChanPark Chan-wookTakashi MiikeStarsBai LingLee Byung-hunKyoko HasegawaAn Asian cross-cultural trilogy of horror films from accomplished indie directors.Well made, and overall quite good, just nothing that really stands out for me personally.
Worth watching.
Pretty scary. - DirectorLewis TeagueStarsDrew BarrymoreJames WoodsAlan KingA stray cat is the linking element of three tales of suspense and horror. Two of the segments are based on Stephen King short stories. You're way better off just reading them..
Not really worth watching.
Not really scary. - DirectorGeorge A. RomeroStarsHal HolbrookLeslie NielsenAdrienne BarbeauFive grisly tales from a kid's comic book about a murdered father rising from his grave, a bizarre meteor, a vengeful husband, a mysterious crate's occupant, and a plague of cockroaches.Thinking of this makes me smile. Most of them are just funny and cheesy (but well made and some quite clever!), a few of them are a little scary also. There is one that is absolutely disgusting and terrifying (if you dislike creepy-crawlies). Very entertaining.
Well worth watching.
A little scary. - DirectorDouglas BuckBuddy GiovinazzoDavid GregoryStarsUdo KierVirginia NewcombAmanda MarquardtA modern horror omnibus inspired by the over-the-top shocks of Paris' early 20th century 'Theatre du Grand Guignol'. Enola Penny sneaks into an abandoned theater and witnesses six bizarre tales.Tries hard to be edgy and interesting. But kind of falls flat and feels just pointless. Pretty at times, but pointless.
Not really worth watching.
A little scary. - DirectorMatt Bettinelli-OlpinDavid BrucknerTyler GillettStarsCalvin Lee ReederLane HughesAdam WingardWhen a group of misfits are hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house and acquire a rare VHS tape, they discover more found footage than they bargained for.Oh yes! I love this! I was terrified through most of it (although it in retrospect failed to deliver on some scares). Very interesting and new premises. High quality, only one segment disappointed.
A must-see!
Quite scary! - DirectorJohn HarrisonStarsDebbie HarryMatthew LawrenceChristian SlaterTo stall a witch plotting to eat him, a boy reads her horror tales dealing with a collegian's resurrection of a mummy, a murderous cat, and an artist's pact with a gargoyle.Eh. Meh. It has a certain charm, and is somewhat well-made for its' time, but that's all.
Not really worth watching
A little scary - DirectorMichael GornickStarsGeorge KennedyLois ChilesDomenick JohnThree macabre tales from the latest issue of a boy's favorite comic book, dealing with a vengeful wooden Native American, a monstrous blob in a lake, and an undying hitchhiker. Not at all as good as the first one. A lot less interesting, and doesn't really have any charm.
Not worth watching.
A little scary. - DirectorMichael DoughertyStarsAnna PaquinBrian CoxDylan BakerFive interwoven stories that occur on Halloween: an everyday high school principal has a secret life as a serial killer; a college virgin might have just met the guy for her; a group of teenagers pull a mean prank; a woman who loathes the night has to contend with her holiday-obsessed husband; and a mean old man meets his match with a demonic, supernatural trick-or-treater.Very well-made and entertaining! Keeps you interested with a lot of variation. Well worth watching.
A little scary. - DirectorKeita AmemiyaTakuji SuzukiKeisuke ToyoshimaStarsNoriko NakagoshiYûko KobayashiRiko SuzukiWhen Val is released from prison, she's determined to make a new life for herself. But the criminal underworld won't let her go that easily, and her former boss won't stop until she's paid her debt - with blood.Hm. Interesting. Worth watching for the middle segment that is very strange and scary. Never seen anything like it, I wasn't quite sure what to feel when watching it (in a positive way).
The first segment is ok, pretty entertaining and visually appealing.
The last segment is boring and can be skipped.
Well worth watching.

Worth watching.
Pretty scary. - DirectorEric EnglandNick EverhartEmily HaginsStarsSymbaThea TrinidadNicholas TucciFrom the people that brought you Steve Niles' Remains and Dead Souls comes a terrifying new anthology film based on the human senses...Playful and fun. All of the segments are pretty solid and entertaining. Lacks in horror, unfortunately. Not that memorable, if feels a bit rushed. I wanted more substance. But on the other hand, if you just want some fun and kind of inventive segments then maybe this is for you.
Worth watching.
