- DirectorJohn LasseterStarsTom HanksTim AllenDon RicklesA cowboy doll is profoundly threatened and jealous when a new spaceman action figure supplants him as top toy in a boy's bedroom.I love all the three films. The first one is an amazing ground breaking debut of a full CGI movie, the second one was better then the first with its wonderful story and the third film shows us how we can love our toys even as adults but sometimes we have to give them away. The three are my favourites and I do like the other Pixar films.
- DirectorGeorge DunningStarsPaul McCartneyGeorge HarrisonRingo StarrThe Beatles agree to accompany Captain Fred in his yellow submarine and go to Pepperland to free it from the music-hating Blue Meanies.Looking at this movie on Blu-Ray it's fantastic. The animation was fantastic, the story line was great and there is so much memorable songs from The Beatles, of course.
- DirectorGreg TiernanStarsMichael AngelisMichael BrandonDavid BedellaThomas tries to solve the mystery of the Little Green Engine at the Blue Mountain Quary.I like Thomas the Tank Engine, the live action models and CGI, the writing of the Series between the ninth towards the sixteenth was going down the toilet. There was a three strike formula that is painfully obvious, rhyming and alliteration and badly developed characters. When this movie came out this was amazing. The CGI is as always fantastic, the story was great and unpredictable and there was no rhyming or alliteration. There are some Sharon Miller moments, if you're from the older TTTE fan base you'll know the criticism she has as head writer of the series from S9-16.
- DirectorIsao TakahataStarsTsutomu TatsumiAyano ShiraishiAkemi YamaguchiA young boy and his little sister struggle to survive in Japan during World War II.You may've seen my review on this. To me this movie, in my opinion, shows what war can do to families. It tears them apart through death and hunger and the animation makes the story so emotional through the story visually.
- DirectorMartin RosenJohn HubleyStarsJohn HurtRichard BriersRalph RichardsonHoping to escape destruction by human developers and save their community, a colony of rabbits, led by Hazel and Fiver, seek out a safe place to set up a new warren.I love animated movies that are not really focused to kids. To me seeing a movie like this is really unique, the story line is dark and dramatic, the music makes you understand the story musically and the story is just downright amazing. The atmosphere of the movie is fantastic as well. From the dark shadow barrows to the beautiful sunny days.
