Open-minding documentaries : eat, consume, learn, vote, create, and check your internet !
This list is - from my point of view - an illustration of how documentaries are one of the greatest ways to explore our societies. I've proposed in comments 6 categories like follows : Eat : what do we eat, how is it produced, why it is important to consider animal condition to consider ours... Consume : from global warming to financial system, from energy to the economy has global repercussions, but it is nowadays an amazingly complex system. If you're able to explain "Inside Job" please write a comment and open a bank, you're ready to change the system... Learn : this category is quite blurry, but it aimed to cover History, school and more social stories... Vote : politics, the backrooms of it... Create : the labyrinths of creation, the most brilliant portraits I've watched are those listed (Crumb, Pink Floyd, and Jiro)... Check your internet : yes, you are connected, so you are eventually monitored, and so we're all !
