Supernatural Season 2
A list of ratings for Supernatural season 2!
A definite improvement over Season 1 not only in episode quality but in storyline quality and quantity too!
This season has some all time classic episodes and some fantastic storylines strewn throughout. I love how there's like 3 episodes that deal with the Winchesters and the law and I think there's some emotional bits, too!
The only downside is that the season kind of drops its main storyline around episode 10 and this wouldn't be an issue had the first 10 episodes not been so full of story to the point where not having it for 12 episodes just felt a little weird.
The main story also just kinda loses some luster by the end, and while the final is amazing and I love the climax, you could tell they wanted to move on to bigger and better things.
Supernatural Season 2 is everything great about Season 1 upped to new heights and made even better. Despite some story pacing issues and some issues with the direction as a whole, it's a really great time.
8.7/10 - It's epic.

- DirectorKim MannersStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesJeffrey Dean MorganIn the aftermath of the car crash, the surviving Winchesters go to the hospital, where one is stalked by a Reaper while another must consider sacrificing himself to save the others.A very strong premiere that starts off Season 2 already showing how much of a massive improvement it'll be over Season 1.
9/10. - DirectorPhilip SgricciaStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesAlona TalAfter the events at the hospital, the brothers have no idea where the demon that killed their mother is hiding. While biding their time trying to come up with an idea, they investigate murders committed by a killer clown.A surprisingly enjoyable episode that blends plot with one off episode perfectly.
8/10. - DirectorRobert SingerStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesSterling K. BrownSam and Dean encounter a vampire hunter whose obsession may get them all killed. The introduction to Gordon is awesome and I love the way the episode tackles the moral gray area in hunting. Also, vampires in this show are cool.
8.7/10. - 2005–202042mTV-147.9 (6K)TV EpisodeDirectorKim MannersStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesAmara ZaragozaDean and Sam investigate the death of a young college student who died in a car accident, but whose grave is now surrounded by a circle of dead plants. The drama is the weakest aspect, because otherwise, I really like the monster.
7.4/10. - DirectorTim IacofanoStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesSamantha FerrisSam and Dean meet Andy Gallagher, a slacker with psychic powers of persuasion. Once the brothers learn that Andy's family was visited by the Demon, Sam wonders if he could be one of the special children.More psychic kids mean more fun episodes, so I'm all for that. Simon Said is awesome and plot relevant!
9/10. - DirectorKim MannersStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesAlona TalSam and Dean meet up with America's first serial killer, while Jo lies to her mother about going to Vegas and joins Sam and Dean to help them on their hunt.Fun serial killer episode go brrr.
7.6/10. - DirectorMike RohlStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesLinda BlairDean has been framed for murder. Sam tries to find the one behind it.Who would've thought that Dean being a murder suspect would come back to bite them? I'm glad it did, because this episode is EPIC.
8.7/10. - DirectorSteve BoyumStarsJensen AcklesJared PadaleckiLa Monde ByrdThe people of a small town have been selling their souls to a crossroad demon. This is one of the best episodes of the whole season, easily.
9/10. - DirectorRobert SingerStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesKate Jennings GrantSam has a vision of Dean shooting a defenseless man, and they go to the town of River Grove, where they find the townspeople have been possessed by a virus that makes them violent.A demon virus, old legends and a crazy storyline make this episode a major hit.
8.7/10. - DirectorRachel TalalayStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesSamantha FerrisSam meets a woman who shares his ability to have visions, and she warns him that she has seen the future where he dies in an explosion.A so-so plot episode that manages to get interesting with the return of Gordon, but everything else is just sort of fine.
7/10. - DirectorCharles BeesonStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesAnnie WerschingSam and Dean investigate an Connecticut inn run by a single mother where mysterious deaths are taking place. They find evidence of Hoodoo, and try to figure out who is causing the chaos. It's a solid enough episode. Feels like it needed to be a bit longer, but I like it enough. Especially the references to The Shining.
7/10. - DirectorPhilip SgricciaStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesChris GauthierThe Winchesters investigate a series of crimes where robbers with no criminal past commit suicide after the hold-ups.Easily one of the best episodes of the first five seasons, and probably the show. Terrific reintroduction of the police plot and a great introduction of Agent Henrickson. Also Ronald a G.
9.4/10. - DirectorKim MannersStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesDenis ArndtAn angel causes people to cheerfully go out to murder, and when the Winchesters investigate one of them falls under its sway.A really dope concept that manages to mess with some of the lore in some cool ways and has some emotional moments.
8.7/10. - DirectorJ. Miller TobinStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesJim BeaverSam contacts Dean after being missing for a week. When they reunite, Dean finds Sam covered in blood and with no recollection of what happened.A really fun episode bolstered by Jared's fantastic performance!

9/10. - DirectorCharles BeesonStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesTricia HelferA fatal automobile accident from 1992 leaves an angry apparition haunting a remote stretch of highway, and Sam and Dean try to lay it to rest.An episode I used to really love, but it's kinda fallen off after a few rewatches. The ending is amazing and a fantastic cap off but the rest? It's decent.
7.4/10 - Still a good episode! - DirectorKim MannersStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesEmmanuelle VaugierSam and Dean investigate a brutal death and discover that the killer is a lycanthrope: a werewolf.Easily one of my favorite episodes of the season and the show. It's just terrific and the ending is one of the best endings in the entire show and it's bolstered by being entertaining even before that!
9.4/10 - It's so great. - DirectorPhilip SgricciaStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesGary ColeSam and Dean discover that a group of ghosts are attempting to shut down production of a movie that they feel is mocking them. This episode is hilarious and would be rated even higher if the antagonist of the episode wasn't such a goofy stupid dumb dumb.
8.7/10. - DirectorMike RohlStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesCharles Malik WhitfieldSam and Dean allow themselves to be arrested in order to investigate a series of murders inside a penitentiary. However things get complicated when FBI agent Henricksen shows up to take over their case.Prison episode go brr.
8/10. - 2005–202050mTV-149.3 (7.8K)TV EpisodeDirectorEric KripkeStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesSamantha SmithDean is attacked by a Djinn and finds himself in a new reality where his mother is still alive and a mysterious woman holds the key to everything.Another spectacular episode in Season 2! I think the only thing that could make this better and a 10/10 episode, is if it was set in season 5 or something to give us more character to chew on!
9/10. - DirectorRobert SingerStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesJim BeaverSam and other "special children" are abducted by the Yellow-Eyed Demon and taken to a ghost town, where the ultimate battle must start.Season 2's ending begins with a fantastic first part! This honestly could've been the season finale, and a damn good one at that. I'm glad it's not, though, as what we get is fantastic.
9.4/10. - DirectorKim MannersStarsJared PadaleckiJensen AcklesSamantha FerrisDean hits an emotional rock bottom after a devastating personal loss. The Yellow Eyed Demon begins a calculated strategic move to unleash the armies of hell.Easily one of the best finales of the entire show and a fantastic ending to the yellow eyed demon saga that we started all the way back in the pilot and it has amazing set up for Season 3.
