Overrated films. These movies are a waste of time. Avoid watching these films.
It might be that your opinion is different here which would be ok. everybody has a subjective taste. there is no objective taste. But it is a fact I didn't enjoy watching these movies and I explained why that is under the film in the notes. some of them or even all might be great movies for you. which again, would be ok. I can only speak for myself.

- DirectorGreg McLeanStarsDaniel RadcliffeThomas KretschmannAlex RussellA group of friends join a guide for a trek into the Bolivian jungle, searching for an Indian village. The men soon realize that the jungle is a difficult place to be.Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy would do better in the wilderness.
...better than these 3 comedians:
"Hell Yeah! Let's go to the jungle!!!"
The rebel yell to start a comedy that was planned as a drama/adventure based on a true story.... but it's not the story that sucks- it's these actors.
These guys can't even manage a campfire or navigate a raft on a river.
When the most annoying of these 3 guys happens to meet Karl in the city, Karl tells him from a hiking tour through the jungle...
Instantly this bearded pain in the ass is thrilled by that idea. He tries to convince his new friends (whom he met 3 days ago) that they should go on this jungle trip....
".........Guys, listen: do you want to go to Machu Pichu??? Like all the other tourists? Anyone can go to Machu Pichu!!!! You know what I'm saying? But this is the jungle - we will meet wild Indians that no one else has ever seen before...
that's where we are going .......Oh hey Karl, what's up man, what's the plan dude? What's next - you're the boss - whatever you say....". Big grin on his bearded baby-face with high expectations....
Jeez - this must be in the top 10 of the worst embarrassing movies I have ever seen. - DirectorDaniel KwanDaniel ScheinertStarsMichelle YeohStephanie HsuJamie Lee CurtisA middle-aged Chinese immigrant is swept up into an insane adventure in which she alone can save existence by exploring other universes and connecting with the lives she could have led.I didn't know about the Oscars nor anything else about this movie. It was recommended on a YouTube channel and part of a list of 10.
It turned out, that I had to force myself to keep on watching already after 10 minutes. But I didn't give up so quickly and kept on watching. This film sucked for the first 10 minutes, the following 20 minutes and the hour after that as well. Then I stopped.
This film is an unrealistic, unfunny attempt at entertainment.
And when I read about the Oscars, which are 7 (!) that was the first time the movie made me laugh.
Jamie Lee Curtis is so ugly in this movie that I have no words to describe it. She's not funny either. So what's the point? Jesus. - DirectorKinji FukasakuStarsTatsuya FujiwaraAki MaedaTarô YamamotoIn the future, the Japanese government captures a class of ninth-grade students and forces them to kill one another under the revolutionary "Battle Royale" act.ridiculous acting and story. it seems like a school class of teens is trying to act for the 1st time in their lives.
- DirectorShane CarruthStarsShane CarruthDavid SullivanCasey GoodenFour friends/fledgling entrepreneurs, knowing that there's something bigger and more innovative than the different error-checking devices they've built, wrestle over their new invention.I have respect for low-budget movies. Some are innovative and entertaining. But this one?
The biggest problem: this is way too much talking. It is about 98% of the movie. It seems like the endless talking has a purpose: distracting from the nonsense they are doing.
Next problem: is it really that innovative? They constructed an electronic device that is doing something, but they don't know what it is. - what?? And the nonsense goes on: it turns out it was a lucky accident that they created a time-travelling machine that generates multiple realities and doubles of persons.
The next problem: is the lack of tension/visual effects/action. My question is: what is left that would make this movie deserve a rating of 6.7? Even if the actors are doing ok. good.
It doesn't play in the same league as Looper, Predestination, Edge of Tomorrow, Tenet and
more. These movies are rated about 1-star better, which is misleading. - DirectorYeon Sang-hoStarsGong YooJung Yu-miMa Dong-seokWhile a zombie virus breaks out in South Korea, passengers struggle to survive on the train from Seoul to Busan.like a zombie parody.
- DirectorRobert LuketicStarsJim SturgessKate BosworthKevin SpaceyInspired by real events and people, 21 is about six MIT students who become trained to be experts in card counting in Black Jack and subsequently took Vegas casinos for millions in winnings.Only interesting for gamblers and casino players. For everyone else: even though it is inspired by a true story, it is predictable and boring.
- DirectorBenny SafdieJosh SafdieStarsRobert PattinsonBenny SafdieJennifer Jason LeighAfter a botched bank robbery lands his younger brother in prison, Connie Nikas embarks on a twisted odyssey through New York City's underworld to get his brother Nick out of jail.As another reviewer said: Pointless writing, terrible screenplay and awful score. I have to agree. we watch movies to be entertained in some way and/or learn something. it won't happen here.
- DirectorDarren AronofskyStarsEllen BurstynJared LetoJennifer ConnellyThe drug-induced utopias of four Coney Island people are shattered when their addictions run deep..Clichés about drug abuse. nothing but Clichés, that indoctrinate prejudice.
