After splitting with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins superheroines Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya to save a young girl from an evil crime lord.
Wanted to like this, but the first hour just takes WAY too long to set up Harley and the other characters. Huntress really isn't a lead character until the end which is a drag as she's the best part of this. The plot is alright, but it just takes so damn long to get going because the filmmakers really wanted to make sure we knew these characters. Somehow Guardians 1 did a fantastic job introducing the characters within the first 45 mins and make it work, yet this one takes and hour + to get the plot into gear because they needed to establish these characters general moviegoers have no idea about. Lazy slo-mo action scenes really bring it down too. It's trying to be Deadpool raunchy R-rating, but it really isn't that out there and really just is R for some f-bombs and CGI blood during the fights. Only a little better than Suicide Squad, but not by much.
