Cute, spunky and appealing brunette actress Robbi Morgan was born on July 19, 1961. Robbi made her movie debut playing the titular character, as a little girl, in the touching drama, Me, Natalie (1969). Morgan did a wickedly funny and dead-on impression of Mae West while singing the hysterically bawdy song, "Oh, You Nasty Man", as part of a talent show in Curtis Harrington's excellent Depression-era horror winner, What's the Matter with Helen? (1971). Robbi achieved her greatest enduring cult cinema popularity with her memorably sweet portrayal of bubbly'n'perky hitch-hiking camp counselor "Annie" in the landmark slasher classic, Friday the 13th (1980). She not only had co-starring roles in the made-for-TV pictures, Forbidden Love (1982) and I Married a Centerfold (1984), but also made a guest appearance on the TV show, The Fall Guy (1981). Morgan performed stunts for the comedy feature, The Great Outdoors (1988). Besides her regrettably sparse film and TV credits, Robbi also acted in a Broadway stage production of the musical comedy, "Barnum", which ran from 1980 to 1982. Robbi Morgan has been married to actor and game show host, Mark L. Smith is perhaps best-known as "Francine Desmond," intelligence agent (and nemesis of star Kate Jackson) on the CBS series Scarecrow and Mrs. King (1983). Raised in Farmington, Michigan, Smith, an honor student with a mention in "Who's Who of American Students", enrolled in Michigan State University at age 17 to study psychology. She soon became an in-demand model and spokeswoman whose travel demands forced her to abandon her studies. She was "discovered" by a scout for "Playboy" magazine, selected as a centerfold (Miss July 1973) and promptly sent back on the road on press junkets. That road led to California.
With the support of Universal Studios Contract Department, Smith honed her thespian skills in workshops while appearing in featured TV roles (How the West Was Won (1976), Quincy M.E. (1976), Charlie's Angels (1976), etc.). Her first major film role was in the comedy blockbuster National Lampoon's Animal House (1978), where her "Babs Jansen" character, a vapid but devious cheerleader, was an arch-rival to John Belushi's "Bluto". Shortly afterward, she shared star billing with Debbie Allen in the CBS pilot Ebony, Ivory and Jade (1979), which marked her professional singing/dancing debut.
During the actors strike of 1980, Smith produced and starred in an award-winning production of "Vanities", co-starring with Rita Wilson (wife of Tom Hanks). More TV appearances followed (Happy Days (1974), Taxi (1978), Dallas (1978), Fantasy Island (1977) and a special guest-starring role on a one-hour episode of Love, Sidney (1981). She went on to appear on NBC's Days of Our Lives (1965). One month after leaving "Days", she landed the "Scarecrow" pilot, and spent the next four years on the popular series. Smith was a co-creator of the board game "Beverly Hills - a Game of Wealth & Status", a satire of the community for which it was named and where she resides.
In 1987, she was included in the photo exhibit (and book) "The World's Most Beautiful Faces" with such luminaries as Brooke Shields and Linda Evangelista. As a member of various improv groups in the 1990s, she used her writing skills to pen comedic sketches for live performances in L.A. clubs. In 1996, she co-authored a non-fiction book entitled, "Downdating." The late 1990s saw Smith dabbling in production capacities on several indie films. In 1997, she and a partner co-wrote a futuristic socio-political screenplay ("Phoenix File"). She studied for three years at UCLA in production, screenwriting and language, and speaks French and Italian fluently.
In 1999, she began to sing in local L.A. clubs, everything from French "chansons" to R&B duets. On May 7, 2000, she married her singing partner, Keith England (formerly of The Allman Brothers Band, Montrose, The Tubes, among others). Keith also works in post-production and sings with his band as well as in various film & TV projects. The couple resides happily in Beverly Hills.
In 2000, Smith ventured back into acting and was seen most recently in two episodes of Greek (2007) and in Netflix's comedy film, A Futile and Stupid Gesture (2018).- Lisa Baur is known for National Lampoon's Animal House (1978) and Charlie's Angels (1976).

Ingrid Bergman was one of the greatest actresses from Hollywood's lamented Golden Era. Her natural and unpretentious beauty and her immense acting talent made her one of the most celebrated figures in the history of American cinema. Bergman is also one of the most Oscar-awarded actresses, tied with Meryl Streep and Frances McDormand, all three of them second only to Katharine Hepburn.
Ingrid Bergman was born on August 29, 1915 in Stockholm, Sweden, to a German mother, Frieda Henrietta (Adler), and a Swedish father, Justus Samuel Bergman, an artist and photographer. Her mother died when she was only two and her father died when she was 12. She went to live with an elderly uncle.
The woman who would be one of the top stars in Hollywood in the 1940s had decided to become an actress after finishing her formal schooling. She had had a taste of acting at age 17 when she played an uncredited role of a girl standing in line in the Swedish film Landskamp (1932) in 1932 - not much of a beginning for a girl who would be known as "Sweden's illustrious gift to Hollywood." Her parents died when she was just a girl and the uncle she lived with didn't want to stand in the way of Ingrid's dream. The next year she enrolled at the Royal Dramatic Theatre School in Stockholm but decided that stage acting was not for her. It would be three more years before she would have another chance at a film. When she did, it was more than just a bit part. The film in question was The Count of the Old Town (1935), where she had a speaking part as Elsa Edlund. After several films that year that established her as a class actress, Ingrid appeared in Intermezzo (1936) as Anita Hoffman. Luckily for her, American producer David O. Selznick saw it and sent a representative from Selznick International Pictures to gain rights to the story and have Ingrid signed to a contract. Once signed, she came to California and starred in United Artists' 1939 remake of her 1936 film, Intermezzo (1939), reprising her original role. The film was a hit and so was Ingrid.
Her beauty was unlike anything the movie industry had seen before and her acting was superb. Hollywood was about to find out that they had the most versatile actress the industry had ever seen. Here was a woman who truly cared about the craft she represented. The public fell in love with her. Ingrid was under contract to go back to Sweden to film Only One Night (1939) in 1939 and June Night (1940) in 1940. Back in the US she appeared in three films, all well-received. She made only one film in 1942, but it was the classic Casablanca (1942) opposite Humphrey Bogart.
Ingrid was choosing her roles well. In 1943 she was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in For Whom the Bell Tolls (1943), the only film she made that year. The critics and public didn't forget her when she made Gaslight (1944) the following year--her role of Paula Alquist got her the Oscar for Best Actress. In 1945 Ingrid played in Spellbound (1945), Saratoga Trunk (1945) and The Bells of St. Mary's (1945), for which she received her third Oscar nomination for her role of Sister Benedict. She made no films in 1947, but bounced back with a fourth nomination for Joan of Arc (1948). In 1949 she went to Italy to film Stromboli (1950), directed by Roberto Rossellini. She fell in love with him and left her husband, Dr. Peter Lindstrom, and daughter, Pia Lindström. America's "moral guardians" in the press and the pulpits were outraged. She was pregnant and decided to remain in Italy, where her son was born. In 1952 Ingrid had twins, Isotta and Isabella Rossellini, who became an outstanding actress in her own right, as did Pia.
Ingrid continued to make films in Italy and finally returned to Hollywood in 1956 in the title role in Anastasia (1956), which was filmed in England. For this she won her second Academy Award. She had scarcely missed a beat. Ingrid continued to bounce between Europe and the US making movies, and fine ones at that. A film with Ingrid Bergman was sure to be a quality production. In her final big-screen performance in 1978's Autumn Sonata (1978) she had her final Academy Award nomination. Though she didn't win, many felt it was the most sterling performance of her career. Ingrid retired, but not before she gave an outstanding performance in the mini-series A Woman Called Golda (1982), a film about Israeli prime minister Golda Meir. For this she won an Emmy Award as Best Actress, but, unfortunately, she did not live to see the fruits of her labor.
Ingrid died from cancer on August 29, 1982, her 67th birthday, in London, England.- Actress

Former Penthouse Pet Racquel Darrian made adult films from 1989 to 1999. She began in bottom of the barrel porno magazines like Hustler and Beaver Hunt before transitioning into low-budget lesbian films such as the hardcore Leather & Lace series and Ed Powers Dirty Debutantes amateur pornos shot in his bedroom. In her lesbian films, Racquel typically played the pretty girl being seduced by an older, rougher lesbian or butch gal(s). Having never made love to girls before Racquel nervously agreed to a breaking-in session taking on several more experienced lesbians. In an interview for Playboy magazine years later, she claimed she was afraid her high-school friends might see her films and think she had been converted to a lesbian. Ironically, in the years that followed, Racquel would eventually have openly gay relationships off-screen, most notably with Savannah and later, lesbian porn icon, Felicia. Racquel also wrote about her girl on girl hook-ups with strippers and fans during her strip-club tours of the U.S. in her monthly column, Dear Racquel, for Velvet magazine. Racquel also began making straight films with her future husband, Derrick Lane. However, tired of only one partner, she finally put her foot down and insisted on letting other men do scenes with her. During the 1990s, she appeared on-screen (and in magazine spreads) with over 100 girls and about seven different men. Her most notable magazine pictorials can be found in "Penthouse," "Hustler," "Playboy," "Velvet," and "Cheri." (see Publicity Listings below for a somewhat complete list of her magazine covers; over 100 listed!) She is considered by many critics and fans alike to be one of the most beautiful women to ever star in adult films. On-screen, she's made it with some of the most notable stars of the porn industry, including Janine Lindemulder, Nikki Tyler, Madelyn Night, Ed Powers, Chessie Moore Asia Carrera, Ron Jeremy (off-screen), Tiffany Mynx, Randy Spears, Vince Vouyer , Ona Zee, Felecia, Tiffany Million (aka Tiffany Million, former GLOW wrestler), Tianna, Randy West, Christy Canyon, Savannah, Joey Silvera, Sharon Kane, Bionca, Debi Diamond, Jeanna Fine, Tara Monroe, Corinne Williams, Jessica Jaymes , Buck Adams, Ashlyn Gere (aka Ashlyn Gere), Kym Wilde, Jon Dough, Lexington Steele, Steven St. Croix, Francesca Lé, Trixie Tyler and Leena (aka Leena). Annie Sprinkle was born Ellen F. Steinberg on July 23, 1954, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A self-described "nice Jewish girl" whose parents were academics, she grew up in the greater Los Angeles area, and was a bashful girl well into her teens. Of her youth, Annie has said, "I was not a sexual child. I was very shy and inhibited. It wasn't until I lost my virginity at the age of 17 that I even became interested in sex." However, once she surrendered her maidenhead, sex was her lifelong concern, becoming a means of expression, then an art form, and finally a venue for exploring spirituality, First, however, it was a living.
The 1960s and early 1970s were times of rebellion, and rebel against her middle-class roots young Ellen did, becoming a prostitute. Her entry into adult entertainment came while she was employed as a cashier at a porn theater. Viewing the movie on the screen fueled her curiosity about what it must be like to be filmed while making love. Initially she worked a variety of behind-the-camera jobs before making her debut as a hardcore-sex actress in Teenage Cover Girls (1976). While the re-christened Annie Sprinkle was never a superstar in adult entertainment, she enjoys the distinction of being one of the few actresses to be denounced by name from the floor of the U.S. Senate. Annie Sprinkle had used hardcore films as a springboard for a much richer, sex-positive career as an author, a lecturer/sex educator and a performance artist.
Ultimately, she appeared in approximately 200 porn loops, shorts and feature films. Her niche was the fetish genre catering to paraphillias. In the early 1980s Sprinkle--a feminist--began exerting more control over her projects in her evolution from porn performer to artist. Before setting out on the next phase of her creative life, Sprinkle wrote and directed her first hardcore feature, Deep Inside Annie Sprinkle (1981), which became the #2 top-grossing adult film of 1982. While it was not much different from mainstream porn in terms of style, audiences responded to Sprinkle's warm and playful persona. From the "nice Jewish girl" of her teens, she had evolved into the Jewish mother of porn.
The openly bisexual Annie (she lives with her life-partner Elizabeth Stephens, a lecturer at UC Santa Cruz) describes herself as a "Post-Porn Modernist" and promotes her own conception of a pansexual, spiritual female sexuality. The maturation of Dr. Sprinkle (she received a PhD in human sexuality) as an artist and as a person led her to leave the porn industry to fulfill her artistic pursuits as a performance artist, filmmaker, and writer, creating art and cultural artifacts that promote healthy attitudes toward sexuality and women.
Annie Sprinkle, the artist and sexual shaman, challenges the repressive trends that are omnipresent in American culture, which has brought her not only into conflict with the anti-sex, pro-censorship wing of the feminist movement )the likes of Andrea Dworkin and Catherine MacKinnon) right-wing religious fringe. Jesse Helms, the famously reactionary senator who got his start delivering political commentary on a North Carolina TV station in the days of the Fariness in Broadcasting standard, denounced her live performance art piece in the Senate during the debate over the National Endowment for the Arts. Her performance piece, which had received federal funding, entails inviting audience members to view her cervix with a speculum and flashlight in order to "demystify the female body." Helms denounced her performance piece as pornography, which is besides the point.
For Annie Sprinkle, non-misogynistic pornography can be a sex-positive vehicle for banning shame and ignorance while promoting pleasure and feminism. She remains committed to spreading the good news of her pro-sex message, as joyously as possible, that sex should be liberating, fun, free of shame and repression, and infused with creativity, love and spirituality.- Actress

Andrea Donna de Matteo, called Drea (pronounced "dray"), was born on January 19, 1972 in Queens, New York, into an affluent family, the youngest of three children and the only girl. She is the daughter of Donna, a playwright and playwriting teacher at HB Studio in New York, and Albert A. De Matteo, a furniture manufacturer. She is of Italian descent. De Matteo spent her early childhood in Queens, and the family then moved to the Upper East Side in Manhattan, into Aretha Franklin's former townhouse.
De Matteo decided to pursue a directing career at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, perhaps because of the brief moment when, as a girl, she was brought onstage out of the audience and dazzled by the stage lights when she was seeing the play "Cats," perhaps because of her mother's involvement in the entertainment business. Once she was in school, however, it was the acting classes which attracted her greatest interest, and she decided on an acting career. After a screen debut in an obscure independent and a small part in a small movie, Meet Prince Charming (1999), de Matteo auditioned for a one-episode part in the HBO series The Sopranos (1999). She impressed the producers enough that they expanded the role, as Adriana La Cerva, girlfriend to up-and-coming Soprano family soldier Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli), and she eventually became a regular on the show. De Matteo had the right sultry beauty to portray Adriana, but her acting skills greatly fleshed out the character, making her as rich and complex a character as a slightly ditzy gangster's girlfriend can be in the first place - humorous, even charming in a way and, ultimately, tragic. She won an Emmy award for her portrayal of Adriana in 2004.
Although De Matteo's role on the HBO series ended in 2004, in that same year she got a leading role in Joey (2004), a spin-off of the long-running NBC sitcom Friends (1994). She has also appeared in several movies since starting on "The Sopranos" - regardless of the caliber of the production, de Matteo has consistently shown her strong acting skills, such as her award-winning lead in Abel Ferrara's 'R Xmas (2001) and her supporting role in Prey for Rock & Roll (2003).
Although De Matteo describes herself as shy, she also says she was and remains a wild, multi-tattooed party-girl who peppers her conversation with strong language and prefers jeans to dressing up. She owned a rock and roll vintage clothing store in the East Village called "Filth Mart" for several years but has closed it and is considering re-opening it in the Los Angeles area. She has said that she considers actor Vince Vaughn to be like a brother to her.- Actress
