Equally versatile at comedy and drama, Loretta Swit was born on November 4, 1937, in Passaic, New Jersey. Her parents, Polish immigrants, were not in favor of her making a stab at a show business career. Performing on stage from age 7, however, nothing and nobody could deter her.
A natural singer who trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts before finding work in repertory companies, her features were deemed a bit too plain and hard for ingénue roles so she attempted musicals and light comedy, imbuing her characters with a snappy, comic edge. Beginning with the 1967 national touring company of "Any Wednesday", starring Gardner McKay, she forged ahead as a scene-stealing "Pigeon sister" opposite Don Rickles and Ernest Borgnine in an L.A. run of "The Odd Couple" and, from there, earned more laughs as the hopelessly awkward "Agnes Gooch" in the Las Vegas version of "Mame" starring Susan Hayward and (later) Celeste Holm.
Arriving in Hollywood in 1970, Loretta merited some attention by lightening up a number of dramas with her humorous, off-centered performances on such TV fare as Gunsmoke (1955), Mission: Impossible (1966), Hawaii Five-O (1968) and Mannix (1967). Her star-making role, however, came within two years of moving to the West Coast when she inherited Sally Kellerman's vitriolic "Hot Lips" Houlihan movie character for the TV series version of M*A*S*H (1972). She stayed with the show the entire eleven seasons and was Emmy-nominated every season the show was on the air (except the first).
Although Loretta's post-"M*A*S*H" career may appear less noteworthy (it would be hard to imagine anything that could top her bookend Emmy wins on the M*A*S*H series), she has nonetheless remained quite active and provided colorful support in a handful of films including S.O.B. (1981), Beer (1985), Whoops Apocalypse (1986), Forest Warrior (1996) and Beach Movie (1998). She also kept up her TV visibility with episodic appearances and occasional mini-movies, including originating the role of "Chris Cagney" in the TV pilot of Pilot (1981). Returning to singing on occasion, she also inherited the Linda Lavin role in the TV version of the stage musical It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman! (1975).
On stage, she made her Broadway debut opposite That Girl (1966)'s Ted Bessell in "Same Time, Next Year" in 1975 and later replaced Cleo Laine on Broadway in "The Mystery of Edwin Drood". Honored with the Sarah Siddons award for her title role in "Shirley Valentine" (over 1,000 performances) in Chicago, she has more recently toured in productions of "The Vagina Monologues" and played the musical title role of "Mame" in 2003. Loretta also was a five-season host of the 1992 cable-TV wildlife series "Those Incredible Animals" (1992).
After her smash success on "M*A*S*H," Loretta went the dramatic TV movie route with leads in such vehicles as The Execution (1985), Miracle at Moreaux (1985), Dreams of Gold: The Mel Fisher Story (1986), A Matter of Principal (1990) and Hell Hath No Fury (1991). She also appeared in a few guest spots on the series "The Love Boat," "Dolly," "Murder, She Wrote," "The New Burke's Law" and "Diagnosis Murder" before she left the big and small screens. After a decade, Loretta was spotted in the film drama Play the Flute (2019).
Off-stage, Loretta was once married to actor Dennis Holahan, whom she met on the set of M*A*S*H (1972), in 1983. They had no children and divorced in 1995. Her natural spark and trademark blonde, curly mane are more prevalent these days at animal activist fundraisers. A strict vegetarian, she has served as a spokesperson for the Humane Society of the United States and has been multi-honored for her long-time dedication and passion to animals. She is also the author of a book on needlepoint (A Needlepoint Scrapbook), runs her own line of jewelry and exhibits watercolor paintings. As a result, little has been seen of Loretta on film and TV, into the millennium.- Actress

Amber Benson was born on January 8, 1977 in Birmingham, Alabama. As a young girl, she studied singing, dancing as well as acting. While still in her teens, she was involved in productions at the local community theatre. Her family moved to Los Angeles soon afterwards in 1992 so she could pursue a career in acting.
Her first movie role was a minor part in King of the Hill (1993), where she played a good-natured, epileptic teenager and hotel resident which was set in 1930s Depression-era Indiana, which was immediately followed by another supporting part of Cheyenne, the best friend of Alicia Silverstone in The Crush (1993). A string of roles followed with her acting in three made-for-TV "Jack Reed" detective movies playing the daughter of the title detective as well as other minor and bit parts in Imaginary Crimes (1994), S.F.W. (1994) and Bye Bye Love (1995).
She's also acted in a number of independent film productions and film shorts including Take It Easy (1999), Deadtime (1999), Don's Plum (2001), Hollywood, Pennsylvania (2001). But Amber is probably best known for playing Tara, the shy, withdrawn witch and love interest of Willow for three seasons on the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997) from early 2000 to 2002.
Amber has also tried her talent at writing and directing, starting in 2001 with the little-seen independent comedy-drama Chance (2002), where she played the title character. She has also wrote various stage plays as well as the scripts for other independent movie productions like The Theory of the Leisure Class (2001) and Ghosts of Albion: Legacy (2003).- Actress

Born and raised in Winnetka, Illinois to Princeton and Harvard grads, it was expected that Charlotte Ross would follow in her parent's footsteps and continue in the field of education. However, falling in love with acting (and singing) in the tender years of her childhood, Charlotte had other plans in mind and decided at an early age she would follow the "Hollywood" route instead.
From that moment on, Charlotte studied with anyone and everyone she possibly could to polish and sharpen her craft (especially adored, Roy London). She worked at Second City and the Goodman Theater in Chicago and earned a early living with numerous commercial and modeling gigs. Then a month after graduating from the famous New Trier High School, Charlotte made the move to Los Angeles where she quickly landed her first role in Hollywood as "Eve Donovan" on Days of Our Lives (1965), a role that later garnered her 2 Emmy Nominations. After a wonderful four years on the infamous Soap, she went on to pursue other roles. Charlotte then quickly jumped into starring in numerous TV movies including, A Kiss So Deadly (1996), Kidnapped in Paradise (1999), Fall Into Darkness (1996), and She Says She's Innocent (1991), to name a few. She also landed the lead in Aaron Spelling's The Heights (1992) (FOX), which earned a Gold record for her and the cast's singing. She went on to release 3 albums.
Since then, Charlotte has remained a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, starring in TV series such as CBS's comedy The 5 Mrs. Buchanans (1994) by Marc Cherry, FOX's Pauly (1997) (Mommie and Me) with Pauly Shore, NBC's/John Wells' ER (1994) and later his family drama, Trinity (1998). She also starred in Showtime's critically-acclaimed Beggars and Choosers (1999) as 'Lorri Valpone', a role the Los Angeles Times said made Charlotte an "Emmy Shoe-in".
Before "Beggars and Choosers" was officially canceled after two seasons, Charlotte was asked to consider replacing Kim Delaney on the Emmy Award-winning show, NYPD Blue (1993). Charlotte gratefully jumped at the opportunity and made her debut on the ever- successful cop drama, as the tough talking Irish Detective, "Connie McDowell". Again, the media's response to Charlotte echoed that of "Beggars and Choosers" with the LA Times saying "If NYPD Blue still had the popularity it once had, Charlotte would have a shelf of Emmy's"... not to mention her famous "Ass scene" that caused a succession of Court appeals about standards and practices ending in the Supreme Court with President Barack Obama weighing in.
At the end of her fifth season as 'Detective Connie McDowell' on "NYPD Blue", Charlotte was 8 months pregnant with her first child and eager to take a break from acting to just be a Mom. After so many years of being so grateful for work, she craved a break and today still says that time off was the best decision she ever made.
Two years after the birth of her beautiful little boy, Max, Charlotte went back to work starring in the "re-tooled" second season of ABC's Jake in Progress (2005) Jake in Progress , Lifetime's Nora Roberts film, Montana Sky (2007), Christmas in Paradise (2007), VH1's Hit the Floor (2013) and Law & Order (1990) as the memorable character "Anne Coltour", which once again generated Emmy buzz.
Guest starring as Deacon's ex girlfriend on ABC's Nashville (2012), Charlotte also recurs as Quinn's mom on the hit show, Glee (2009) Glee_, and on CW's hit show, Arrow (2012), as the beloved Felicity's mother, Donna (aka "Mama Smoak"). Charlotte continues to challenge and reinvent herself for a diverse array of roles. Whether it be showing off her athleticism as the first female umpire in professional baseball in the highly anticipated short film, The Umpire (2011), seducing Nicolas Cage as the white trash, tattoo covered sex cougar, 'Candy' in Summit's 3D film, _Drive Angry (2012)_, or starring in _Street Kings: Motor City (2013)_ opposite Ray Liotta, Charlotte continues to captivate audiences and impress critics with her unbelievable range as an actress.
A successful actress for over two decades, a proud single mom to her son Max, a passionate recognized animal rights activist (widely known for PETA "I'd rather go naked..." campaign ) who received the HSUS Animal Advocate of the Year Award for her lobbying work on Capitol Hill to release Chimpanzee's from testing labs, a vocal fitness fanatic (recently summited Kilimanjaro) who inspires women to be in the best shape of their lives and, filming her own fitness video, Charlotte is fortunate to be able to do what she loves. She is passionate about producing as well. Once a Winnetka gal with a love of finding the truth on screen, Charlotte is now living her dream and couldn't be in a happier more grateful place in her life.- Actress

Christine Helen Lakin was born on January 25th, 1979 in Dallas, Texas. After moving several times as a child, her family finally settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where Christine started her acting career. There, she attended the Atlanta workshop players - a theater group which plays in schools in the Atlanta metro area. Her first audition was for a TV-commercial - "Got Milk?!", and after not getting that job, she didn't have to wait long for her next opportunity, which was the part as the young Rose in the civil-war flick The Rose and the Jackal (1990), which also starred Christopher Reeve. In 1991, she took her first step towards big fame and landed the role as the tomboyish Al on the Friday night hit Step by Step (1991).
During the sitcom's long run, Christine gracefully grew up, graduated from high school in 1997 and made various appearances on other television shows. When Step by Step (1991) was cancelled in 1998, Christine, while attending UCLA and majoring in film, looked for other film roles. She landed jobs in independent films such as Boltneck (2000) and Finding Kelly (2000). Whatever It Takes (2000) was Christine's first wide theatrical film release. Since then, she has had a slew of independent coming-of-age films along with guest appearances on such hit shows as Boston Public (2000), and Opposite Sex (2000). Still attending UCLA and handling a film career, Christine is managing to do what few child actors tend to do, which is continue.- Entrancing Leigh Taylor-Young was born on January 25, 1945, in Washington, D,C,. to a diplomat father and raised in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, the older sister of future actress Dey Young and writer/director Lance Young. She studied classical ballet and, following high school, attended Northwestern University where she initially majored in economics. She switched gears after developing an interest in theater, however, and studied under drama teacher Alvina Krause, and would apprentice as the youngest member of the Eaglesmere Summer Repertory Theatre.
Leigh eventually moved to New York with designs on a professional career and studied under acting guru Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse. Her major break came when she was cast in the already firmly established prime-time TV soap Peyton Place (1964). She played the mysterious Rachael Welles, whose character was brought in to provide clues to the disappearance of Allison MacKenzie (played by Mia Farrow who shocked ardent viewers by abruptly leaving the series). A mysterious girl herself, Leigh proved to be a fetching figure with her slightly off-kiltered beauty and unsympathetic countenance.
Like Farrow, Leigh developed a bit of bad publicity when she too walked off the weekly series after only one season. She also fell into the arms of the very popular -- and very married -- series star Ryan O'Neal. The couple would marry in 1967 following his divorce from actress Joanna Moore. By then, Leigh was already pregnant with their child Patrick O'Neal, who would later become an actor before turning to sportscasting.
Leigh started off in films auspiciously as a "flower child" of the psychedelic (late) 1960s. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for "Best Newcomer," when she played opposite Peter Sellers, in the eccentric comedy, I Love You, Alice B. Toklas! (1968), but then appeared opposite her husband in The Big Bounce (1969), a kinky misfire. She went on to appear in a cameo in her husband's British-made movie, The Games (1970), but her career sputtered again with a series of misguided features, including the star-heavy epic, The Adventurers (1970); another kinky British film, The Buttercup Chain (1970), which dealt with kissing cousins who don't quite stop at kissing; the beautifully photographed but rather hollow action-adventure The Horsemen (1971) co-starring Omar Sharif; and the mild romp, The Gang That Couldn't Shoot Straight (1971) which is best remembered for starting Robert De Niro off and running in films. Arguably, Leigh's best remembered role during that period came alongside Charlton Heston in the controversial film Soylent Green (1973), although she was a bit overshadowed by the grisly topic material and showier performances of co-stars Heston and Edward G. Robinson.
Following her separation from O'Neal in 1971 (they didn't actually divorce until '74), the actress made herself somewhat scarce while raising her young son. In 1978, she married agent/director Guy McElwaine, but that marriage would also end in divorce. In the 1980s, she made a comeback of sorts as a mature -- but still spicy -- presence. Taking a back seat to Albert Finney in the film thriller Looker (1981) and to Glenn Close and Jeff Bridges in the whodunnit Jagged Edge (1985), she found her best results back on TV.
Leigh would nab a supporting Emmy award in 1994 for her portrayal of vixen Rachel Harris on the acclaimed series drama Picket Fences (1992). In addition, she performed in several plays, in the US, England and Scotland, including "The Beckett Plays", "Knives" and "Sleeping Dogs". More recently, she appeared in her writer/director brother Lance Young's film Bliss (1997). Leigh also would play a regular role on the daytime soap, Passions (1999) as wealthy Katherine Crane.
A few movie roles have come her way into the millennium, including the film comedy Slackers (2002); a cameo role (as Mrs. Leigh Taylor Young) in (then) husband Craig Sheffer's film Ritual (2002); the comedy crimer Klepto (2003); the comedy A-List (2006); as a psychiatrist in the sci-fi adventure Spiritual Warriors (2007) and, more recently, the drama The Wayshower (2011).
Finding a fulfilling life off-camera, Leigh became an ordained minister in the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, and her voice can be heard in the Search of Serenity series of audio meditations from The Course in Miracles trainings. She is also a grandmother of two granddaughters from son Patrick's relationship with the older Rebecca De Mornay. - Actress

Katharine Juliet Ross was born January 29, 1940, in Hollywood, CA, to Katherine (née Mullen) and Dudley Tying Ross. Her father, who had also worked as a reporter for the Associated Press, was a commander in the US Navy when she was born. His navy career shuttled the family around to Virginia, then Palo Alto, and finally to Walnut Creek, outside of San Francisco, where Ross grew up.
Ross graduated from Las Lomas High School in Walnut Creek in 1957 and attended Santa Rosa Junior College and Diablo Valley College in the Bay Area, where she took part in her first onscreen work in a student film. Moving to San Francisco, into an apartment on Stockton Street above a grocery store, she began her acting career as an understudy in Actor's Workshop productions, and was soon auditioning for roles. She was also married in 1960 to college sweetheart Joel Fabiani, the first of five husbands.
Work came steadily for Ross, at first mainly in television westerns, and indeed Westerns would make up the majority of her best-known work, her natural beauty being a strong asset in that genre. She made her TV debut in an episode of Sam Benedict (1962), and her first film role was in the Civil War era Shenandoah (1965) starring James Stewart. Ross' career as a leading actress began in earnest in 1967, with her strong turn co-starring with James Caan and Simone Signoret in Games (1967), and with The Graduate (1967). Ross' performance as Elaine earned her a Supporting Actress Oscar nomination.
A disappointing, formulaic John Wayne vehicle, Hellfighters (1968), followed but she soon returned to form with two films with Robert Redford. As Etta Place in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), Ross was part of the most memorable scene from that hit film, precariously perched barefoot on the bumper of that newfangled contraption, the bicycle, as Paul Newman's Butch Cassidy takes her for a ride. The compelling Tell Them Willie Boy Is Here (1969) was less of a box office success but more highly regarded by the critics, and Ross won a BAFTA Award for her work as Lola, a Paiute Indian who flees with her boyfriend, played by Robert Blake, after he kills her father in self-defense.
Swept up into a whirlwind of fame, widely idealized as the symbol of beauty for the Woodstock generation, Ross had accomplished so much so quickly that it seemed her entire career had happened almost all at once, in that frenzy of activity between 1967 and 1969. Sure enough, there followed a long dry spell in which she was mostly cast in forgettable roles; her next strong film wasn't for another six years. In The Stepford Wives (1975), an intriguing black comedy-cum-horror film, Ross plays a independent, free-spirited wife newly relocated to a suburb where the other wives all seem to be just a little too perfect, too submissive; it was arguably her strongest performance to date, but Stepford Wives would prove to be but a temporary resurgence for Ross, and her work in the decade and a half to follow would include such star-studded duds as The Betsy (1978), and a return to TV, including a part in primetime soap opera The Colbys (1985). Along the way, however, Ross found love. After four failed marriages (the second, third and fourth were to John Marion, Conrad L. Hall and Gaetano Lisi respectively), she met her current husband Sam Elliott, while working on The Legacy (1978). They married in May 1984; that September, just four months short of her 45th birthday, Ross gave birth to a daughter, Cleo Rose.
In 1991, Ross and Elliott adapted the Louis L'Amour novel, Conagher (1991), for television in a remarkably affecting Western tale which showcases both actors' remarkable talents. Ross continues to take roles on occasion and, as usual, her work is strong -- something that was sometimes overlooked in her youth due to her famous beauty. For instance, Ross turned up in Donnie Darko (2001), in a solid performance as Donnie's psychiatrist.
Ross and Elliott live on their ranchito in Malibu.- Rosalind Santos was born on 29 January 1992 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She is an actress, known for Love Me True (2015) and NCIS: New Orleans (2014).

Mary Steenburgen is an Academy Award-winning American actress.
She was born in Newport, Arkansas, USA. Her mother, Nellie May (Wall) Steenburgen, was a school-board secretary, and her father, Maurice H. Steenburgen, was a freight-train conductor. Her surname comes from distant Dutch ancestry, and her roots also include English, Scottish, and Welsh.
Young Steenburgen was fond of arts and literature. Mary grew up tap-dancing her way through talent shows and school functions. She was active in her school drama class. After appearing in a number of high school plays, she enrolled at Hendrix College, a highly progressive Southern School located in Conway, Arkansas. Upon the recommendation of her drama professor, she left college in 1972 and moved to New York to study acting professionally. In the past several years, Mary Steenburgen has emerged as one of the most accomplished and sought-after screen actresses. Ever since Jack Nicholson discovered her and cast her as a sassy adventuress in his rollicking western, Goin' South (1978), her career has skyrocketed and she has won acclaim for exceptional performances in each of her diverse film roles. In Nicholas Meyer's Time After Time (1979), Steenburgen was afforded critical praise for her portrayal of a somewhat dippy but liberated young bank clerk in San Francisco who crosses paths, via time machine, with English author H.G. Wells (played by Malcolm McDowell, who later became her husband). In 1980 she shot to fame with her role as Lynda Dummar in Melvin and Howard (1980) for which she won Oscar for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Steenburgen again impressed audiences and critics alike with her stunning performance as the strong-willed turn-of-the-century mother in Ragtime (1981).
Steenburgen is a notable patron of arts. She is also an active supporter of humanitarian causes. She has two children from her previous marriage to actor Malcolm McDowell. Since 1995 she has been married to actor Ted Danson, and the couple is living in the Los Angeles area.- Actress

Born Kätherose Derr in Wiesbaden, Karin Dor studied acting and ballet at school and began in films as an extra. The attractive redhead made an indelible impression on Austrian director Harald Reinl (who became her first husband in 1954) and this paved the way to higher profile roles. Her first significant featured appearance was in Reinl's melodrama Der schweigende Engel (1954). Karin subsequently shared top billing in a classroom drama about wayward matriculation students, Ihre große Prüfung (1954). During the initial segment of her career she played nice girls, mainly wide-eyed ingénues, innocent victims and assorted naive juveniles in war and period dramas (As Long as You Live (1955)), Heimatfilms (Almenrausch und Edelweiß (1957)) and operettas (The White Horse Inn (1960)).
By 1960, a more glamorous, lithe and sensual Karin had graduated to juicer roles as heroines in Edgar Wallace potboilers (beginning with Der grüne Bogenschütze (1961)) and a series of Karl May European westerns, invariably directed by Reinl and co-starring Tarzan actor Lex Barker (a combination which proved equally successful for other crime/sci-fi franchises, including The Invisible Dr. Mabuse (1962)). Many of these pictures enjoyed only limited release and were rarely exhibited outside Germany.
Karin succeeded at last to break her stereotyping by playing a pathological serial killer wielding a cutthroat razor in another Wallace/Reinl outing, Room 13 (1964), and - for a total change of pace -- essayed Brunhilde in a two-part filming of the epic 'Die Nibelungen' (also directed by Reinl). With her international appeal now widening, she appeared in The Face of Fu Manchu (1965), a British-West German co-production, as a scientist's daughter menaced by the titular villain. To follow was arguably her best-known international role as an early 'Bond girl', Helga Brandt (alias Number Eleven), a SPECTRE operative whose failure to eliminate J.B. results in her being dropped into a piranha-infested pool by super villain Blofeld (Donald Pleasence) in You Only Live Twice (1967). She was then engaged by Alfred Hitchcock for the part of Cuban resistance leader Juanita de Cordoba in Topaz (1969) in which her character came to a similarly sticky end. Karin's career never quite recovered from this director's rare box-office aberration. British Times reviewer and Hitchcock specialist John Russell Taylor described the picture as "generally flat, undistinguished, and lacking in any sign of positive interest or involvement on his (Hitchcock's) part". In the wake of Topaz, Karin's screen appearances became infrequent, except for a couple of guest spots on American crime shows, followed by an of unsuccessful feature film comeback attempt in the incongruous thriller Warhead (1977). She was latterly seen on German television in several episodes of Rosamunde Pilcher (1993). Karin's third husband was actor and stuntman George Robotham who predeceased her in 2007.- Actress

Radio talk show host, "reality" TV host, film and TV producer, former high-fashion model, popular pin-up girl, actress and spokes model... Samantha ("Sam") Phillips is a 20 year veteran of the entertainment industry and a highly sought after radio and TV personality as the host of, "The Single Life with Sam Phillips" (2009); formerly a radio show on 97.1 FM Talk (2004-2009), now a 26 episode series airing on the premium HD cable network Mav TV (2009).
Sam began her mainstream hosting career in 2001 with the breakout hit show Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus (2000), the relationship television series from Columbia Tri-Star. The show was billed as "The talk show that gets men and women to really talk!" and Sam was the co-host who would do the embarrassing demonstration, try the unknown or ask the question everyone was thinking but not saying. As the host of Xtreme Fakeovers (2005), (XFO) on PAX-TV, Sam and professional Hollywood make-up artist, Kevin Yagher transformed everyday people via prosthetics, body padding and elaborate special effects make-up (a la Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)) into a totally new person and then pulled elaborate hidden-camera pranks on their unsuspecting family family and friends (a la Punk'd (2003)). It was the everyday people practical joke show with the super bonus of Hollywood special effects.
Sam's radio career began at Xtra Sports Radio on "The Big Show with Steve Mason and John Ireland" (1998), which was also simulcast on Fox Sports West II. For the past decade 97.1 FM Talk has been Sam's radio home and in that time she's hosted 19 different shows. She's widely known as the modern day Dear Abby on the radio, except Sam's the cooler, hipper, hotter version. Speaking of hot, Sam's Penthouse Magazine Centerfold for June 1993 was published in more countries than any other Pet's. At the time, Bob Guccione predicted on his editors page that Sam's issue would become a collectors edition.
Sam got her experience for hosting from previous reporting, guest hosting and celebrity guest appearances on numerous shows, including a three year stint on Playboy Channel's "Sexcetera" (1998-2000), Red Eye w/Tom Shillue (2007), Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew (2005), The Test (2001), CBS' The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn (1999), FX Network, "The Howard Stern Show" (2004), "The Joan Rivers Show" (1995), "Jenny Jones" (1995),"The Maury Povich Show" (1994), "Hard Copy" (1994), "Inside Edition" (1996), "Extra" (1996), "Entertainment Tonight" (1996), and HBO. She has also been cast in a slew of music videos, including ones for ''Weird Al' Yankovic', 'Van Halen', Amy Grant, Mötley Crüe, Simply Red, Scorpions, The Doobie Brothers, Dave Koz, Iron Maiden, Jeff Foxworthy and Alice Cooper, to name a few.
Sam has also hosted and emceed many public events including "ASYM's 14th, 15th, and 16th Annual Spring and Benefit Awards Show" (2006-2009), "ASYM's 2nd - 6th Annual Hollywood Live Music Showcase" (2005-2009), "The Prism Awards" (2006), "The Diversity Awards" (2005-2006), "The Singles Festival (2003), "Your Night of Stars at Edwards Air Force Base" (2001), "Wilmington's Most Wanted Charity Event" (2001), and several years of "The Best of L.A. Festival" (1998-2000). Sam co-created and hosted the popular "Improv's Red Light Comedy District" (2002-2005), and she is famous for producing all the campy, T&A "Busty Cops" films that star all her centerfold friends and have a large fan following.
Her first gig as a leading lady in a motion picture came in London in 1987. Love Potion (1987) was the brainchild of Monty Python alumni Graham Chapman (writer, producer) and Julian Doyle (director). Sam enjoyed acting so she moved to Los Angeles, where she became a film veteran, having acted in over 40 movies. She has starred in Deceit (1990), Phantasm II (1988), Angel 4: Undercover (1994), The Other Man (1994) and Fallen Angel (1997), and has appeared in Weekend at Bernie's II (1993), Spy Hard (1996) and Rescue Me (1992), among many others. Most recently she co-starred in the N.Y. Independent Film Festival award winner Just for the Time Being (2000).
Sam Phillips is widely known as a 1980s pop icon after her recent appearance in Patrick McMullan's photographic diary of the decade entitled "So 80s." She began as an international teen modeling sensation and spent a decade working with Wilhelmina Models in New York, Paris, London and Japan. She became one of the most sought-after models of the time, appearing in magazines such as "Italian Vogue", "Cosmopolitan", "Lei", "Elle", "Mademoiselle" and "Seventeen". She was featured on ad campaigns for Jordache, Esprit, Sebastian Hair Care Products, and the #1 pantyhose company in Europe, DIM Pantyhose, to name just a few.- The acting bug caught me early when I got to play the lead in a local play. Just over a year later I was lucky enough to book the lead role of Lava Girl, in the Robert Rodriquez film The Adventures of Shark Boy and Lava Girl (2005). After that amazing experience, I was hooked and in love with every aspect of creating characters. Then as fate would have it, I hit a big growth spurt and at age 13, I looked like an 18 year old. After a few years, of getting down to the end on roles and ultimately being told "my age and essence played too old", I decided to take some time away. Since then, I've been in college working on a degree in Psychology. To me, what I love about acting is understanding people and what makes them tick, which is what makes Psych so interesting. Other than college, I took the time to focus on myself. Growing up a child actor is somewhat of a focused and sheltered life. I wanted to experience so much more. So, needless to say, these years away have been the best "life road trip" I could have taken. It not only helped me develop and grow so much as a person, but my experiences helped me grow as an actress. While I was busy doing me, I took some time to go to a few different acting schools/classes. I figured variety is the spice of life and what better way to see what fits than trying on lots of different hats. The experiences were amazing and helped me figure out who I am as an actress. I completed the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, which was so inspiring. I also went to classes and got to work with Ivana Chubbuck on scene study, Leigh Kilton Smith on auditioning, and Cameron Thor in class and one on one working on scene study and building strong interesting characters. Now, after taking some years completely away from the acting business, I feel like now more than ever I know who I am and what I want. My passion for acting is like a fire burning inside of me, and I am ready to really get back out there again and start pursuing my career. I really feel like this is my time and I couldn't be more excited for the future.

Actress and model Teresa Palmer has gathered some impressive film credits. She was born in Adelaide, South Australia, to Kevin Palmer, an investor, and Paula Sanders, a former missionary and nurse. She completed high school at Mercedes College in 2003, where she was a popular student who was well-known for her practical jokes. She worked in a Cotton On outlet in Rundle Mall until she was discovered and cast on the spot--without an audition--in her feature film debut and breakthrough role in 2:37 (2006). Made by first-time writer/director/producer Murali K. Thalluri, the film competed in the 2006 Cannes Film Festival in "Un Certain Regard" and chronicles the lives of six students over the course of day and ends in a devastating suicide.
Teresa immediately went to work on back-to-back film projects including December Boys (2007) opposite "Harry Potter" star Daniel Radcliffe--a coming-of-age story about four adolescent orphans, based on the book by Michael Noonan and directed by Rod Hardy (Robinson Crusoe (1997), Buffalo Girls (1995), The X-Files (1993) and The Practice (1997)). She also starred as stripper-turned-criminal "Dale" in the British/Australian co-production Restraint (2008), a film noir/psychological thriller that follows the plight of a pair of fugitives on the run from a murder scene. Directed by David Denneen, the film also features former Calvin Klein model Travis Fimmel and British actor Stephen Moyer. In 2006 Teresa worked with Japanese director Takashi Shimizu on the Sony Pictures production The Grudge 2 (2006). Set in Tokyo, the horror sequel to the box-office hit The Grudge (2004) also starred Sarah Michelle Gellar and Jennifer Beals. Later that year Teresa signed on to play the female lead in Doug Liman's action fantasy film Jumper (2008), but was subsequently replaced by Rachel Bilson.
Early 2007 saw her star opposite former boyfriend Topher Grace as the love interest in the retro comedy film Take Me Home Tonight (2011). Shortly after filming ended, Teresa decided to move permanently from Adelaide to Los Angeles following a public split from her then-boyfriend of two years, Australian Rules football star Stuart Dew. Teresa was due to play a small part in George Miller's doomed superhero film "Justice League: Mortal", but the production fell through after months of problems. Teresa briefly dated her "Justice League: Mortal" co-star Adam Brody in early 2008; later that year she had a relationship with British comedian Russell Brand, whom she met on the set of her latest film, Bedtime Stories (2008), a Disney children's comedy starring Lucy Lawless, Guy Pearce and Keri Russell and was released on Christmas 2008.- Actress

Kaila was born on May 16th on a cold night in Taipei, Taiwan. She moved to California when she was three years old and grew up in the Sunshine State, California.
Kaila was lucky enough to recognize her talents as a performer at an early age. She enjoyed using her vivid imagination to entertain her family by putting on shows for them. Kaila also organized singing musicals and plays for the neighborhood with her cousins and the neighborhood children.
Career driven at such a young age along with the full support of her family, Kaila's parents kept her busy with piano classes, ballet lessons, tap dancing classes, Chinese folk dancing classes, cello lessons, speed contests, SAT classes and Chinese school. All of that and she still had time to participate in extracurricular activities in high school, was on swim team and the cross country team in high school.
Kaila was a confident kid but suddenly became shy when she skipped a grade in elementary school. Kaila was suddenly out of her element and became painfully shy. No longer a confident kid in school, she had few close friends and studied hard in all her classes. She became a nerd throughout junior high and into high school. Like many, high school was the least favorite part of her life. She was a nerd with no sense of style, was painfully shy, and had strict parents that never let her out.
The biggest change in her life came the second she graduated high school and went to attend college at UCSD. She originally majored in biology because she had an interest in becoming a plastic surgeon. She ended up with an economics degree because it was the closest thing to a business degree that UCLA has just to have a generic degree to fall back on. She never intends to use that degree. Its more of a backup plan incase her career didn't go though. For the first time in her life, she felt free and far away from her strict parents! She finally overcame her shyness and partied like crazy. She always had a desire to pursue a career in the entertainment business. She realized that she needed to be in Los Angeles to pursue modeling and singing so she immediately transferred to UCLA. It was hard breaking into the industry. Kaila met lots of shady characters and con artists along the way. Kaila, being a self motivated individual had to learn to build her website on her own by reading HTML for Dummies!! She eventually got her website up and running. She got noticed by the Import industry and Playboy Magazine and finally got to follow her dream. She gained popularity through modeling in import car shows and became a full time model, working the Import Car show scene and won the title of "Most Searched Import Model.". Kaila has been featured in several magazines including Import Tuner, Playboy, and FHM. Kaila has achieved everything that she hoped for in modeling, now her heart is completely focused on music now. She knows the road is going to be a lot tougher than the modeling industry but that's not enough to stop her from pursuing her dreams.
She has a site up dedicated to her music and released her first self-titled album, "Kaila" in 2003.
With her supermodel looks, Kaila would also seem that she wouldn't leave the house unless she looked like she just stepped off the pages of Vogue. However, she chooses not to view herself as a model. As a "triple-threat" model, actress, and singer, her work includes gracing the pages of Playboy, as well as being in fashion spreads and calendars like the "Pacific USA 2001 Calendar," and even releasing her own calendar in 2003. She's made appearances in such TV shows as "MTV's House if Style," and "The Man Show," and on major networks like E!, USA, Playboy TV. Kaila Yu can also be seen in music videos, international television and films, such as "Three Sisters" and "Toilet Stories."- Actress

In 1998, Yekaterina Rednikova received a Nika award (the "Russian Oscar") for her performance in, "The Thief" by Pavel Chukrai. This was her first lead role. Yekaterina traveled with "The Thief" to Los Angeles, where it was nominated for "Best Foreign Language Picture" by the Academy. This role, for which she was called, "the Russian Liv Ullman" by Italian critics at the Venice film festival, led Katerina to pursue an international career.
Rednikova was born in Moscow, the daughter of an engineer, Valeriy Rednikov, and an accountant, Yelena Rednikova. Her older brother, Dmitriy, was a physicist and worked on the aftermath of the Chernobyl catastrophe before becoming a screenwriter.
Yekaterina stepped on a stage for the first time when she was 6 and played two small roles with one of the biggest theater companies in Moscow: Lenkom. One of the accomplished actors with whom she shared the stage wrote her an autograph that changed her life and encouraged her to become an actress.
Yekaterina entered the very competitive Russian Theater Academy (GITIS) at the age of 17. After graduating from the Theater Academy, she worked with several theater companies, more often in American classics such as "A Streetcar named Desire" and "Beyond the Horizon" than in Russian plays, which is ironic since Yekaterina is a relative of classic Russian playwright Anton Chekov.
After "The Thief", Yekaterina played lead roles in movies in Russia, Turkey, Great Britain and the United States. She was nominated for "best Turkish actress" at the Turkish Critic Awards in 2000 for her performance in the Turkish movie, "Balalayka", which was quite an accomplishment since she did not speak Turkish before arriving on set. In 2005, Yekaterina played the female lead opposite Daniel Craig in the BBC production, "Archangel".
Since 2003, Yekaterina has been living in Moscow and in Los Angeles. At the moment, she is preparing for the role of Raisa Gorbachev in the upcoming project, "Raisa", based on the life of former Russian President Michael Gorbachev.- Mildred Ruiz-Sapp was born on 17 May 1970 in New York City, New York, USA. Natalia Shmarenkova, wife of Kyiv Post publisher Mohammad Zahoor, is 2008 Mrs. World. She also has a singing and acting career and is excited about her upcoming role in a Hollywood movie.
For someone crowned Mrs. World 2008, Natalia Shmarenkova's demeanor is refreshingly devoid of elitism and celebrity arrogance. In Ukraine, she is more known as a pop singer under the stage name of Kamaliya. She hopes the world will know her soon as a movie actress.
Shmarenkova is the wife of new Kyiv Post owner and publisher, Mohammad Zahoor. Outside of business circles, he was the lesser-known of the pair, at least until he started spending some of his fortune to buy real estate and media companies.
Married in 2003, the couple has lofty ambitions, talent and the financial means to achieve them.
A professional musician, singer, model and rising actress, she did not get it all just by marrying the right man. Before meeting Zahoor, she worked on her own career and racked up awards at state festivals. Although never topping the charts or filling stadiums, she has an audience appreciative of her soprano and waist-deep blond hair.
Winning the Mrs. World beauty pageant for married women in 2008 was one of the highest points in her career. "I wanted to show women in Ukraine that being married does not mean it's the end of it all. We can always be beautiful," Kamaliya said. "Moreover, the contest is about family values, self-accomplishment and helping those less fortunate."
She was born to a military family in far-off Chita Oblast in Russia. When Kamaliya turned three, her father was deployed in Budapest, thus starting their lifelong wandering around the world. "We never really had a home," said Inna Shmarenkova, Kamaliya's mother. "So we had enough of this feeling of nostalgia and now want to be in one place."
Shmarenkova never detached herself from her pre-school daughter from the moment she walked her to the vocals studio for the first time. A professional singer herself, she remains Kamaliya's producer, agent and sidekick to this day.
Failing to strike powerful friendships in turbulent 1990s, they did not secure mainstream fame. After the fall of the Soviet Union, newly minted millionaires not only ran steel mills and grain factories. They also made inroads into show business as well.
Exuberant and spontaneous, Kamaliya does not seem to be put off by the fickle fortunes of her past. Beauty contests and film roles are good enough omens for long-term prospects on stage.
The couple could be based anywhere - Russia, England, the United States or even Pakistan - but they have chosen to remain in Ukraine.
Talkative and energetic, she appears eager for a big break in her career - on the big screen or on TV. She started filming a pilot TV program "Coffee with Kamaliya," in which she interviews celebrities about their climb to fame. "The idea is to show younger people that popularity does not come by accident but is rather a product of hard work." She also plans to shoot another program about charity.- Laisha Wilkins was born on 18 May 1976 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico. She is an actress, known for The Zwickys (2014), Mujeres asesinas (2008) and Un gancho al corazón (2008).

Holly Aird was born in Aldershot, Hampshire on the 18th May, 1969. She showed a huge interest in ballet so she started to attend a local dance school. At the age of nine, young Holly was picked out by a casting director to star in The History of Mr. Polly (1980).
Her first acting appearance went well, and she began getting even more roles, such as The Tale of Beatrix Potter (1983) and The Flame Trees of Thika (1981).
It was around the time that Holly was filming The Flame Trees of Thika (1981) that her parents divorced but they stayed good friends and were always supportive in her pursuit of fame.
Holly is one of only a few actresses who manage the difficult transition from child/teenage actor to adult actress. She is now most well-known as "Nancy Thorpe/Garvey" in Soldier Soldier (1991) and, more recently, for her role as forensic pathologist, "Frankie Wharton", in the BBC series, Waking the Dead (2000), which she left at the end of season four to concentrate on her family.
Her personal life certainly hasn't been easy. Holly married actor James Purefoy but they divorced in 2002, only a few years after the birth of their son, Joseph Purefoy, who suffered from a rare blood disease which had both mum and dad at his bedside in the hospital. Joseph has now recovered and Holly has had a second child, Nelly Merritt, with her second husband, Toby Merritt, after meeting him on the set of Waking the Dead (2000)'s second season.- Actress

Courtney Rheagan Wallace was born to Rodney and Silvia Wallace on June 9, 1987 in Dallas, Texas.
From the time she learned to walk and talk, Rheagan exhibited all the signs of a true entertainer; putting on "plays" in her living room in front of the family camcorder, doing impressions, and reciting every line from every movie she watched - usually accompanied by her dad who would always oblige her and play any role she needed him to fill.
Over the years, it became apparent that Rheagan had what it took to make a career out of it. She worked the local Dallas scene, guest starring twice on Walker Texas Ranger and holding a steady position as a kid DJ for Radio Disney.
Once she and her family made the move to Los Angeles, things really started to pick up for Rheagan. From comedy to drama, she was doing it all. Right out of the gate, she landed two independent films (Six String Samurai and Dill Scallion) as well as roles on television's hottest series' including 7th Heaven, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, ER, That's So Raven, Malcolm in the Middle, NYPD Blue, Judging Amy, Boston Public, and many more.
In 2003, she hit her dream role playing Emma, the oldest daughter of Chevy Chase, in a pilot for NBC produced by Lorne Michaels. The pilot was shot at Silver Cup Studios in New York, and even though it was not picked up for a full series, Rheagan still says it was one of the best experiences of her career. Since she can remember, she has had dreams of being part of the SNL cast, and that's as close as she's come to date.
Since then, she has starred in various films such as Deep in the Heart (released in Cinemark theaters on February 17th, 2012) playing the role of Deede, the daughter of Texas agricultural tycoon Richard "Dick" Wallrath (portrayed by Jon Gries).
One of her recent endeavors, the role of Grace in the short film Amazin' Grace, garnered Rheagan her very first award. She won 'Best Actress in a Short Film' at the Bare Bones International Film Festival in April of 2014.
Her latest feature film, the tenth installment to the illustrious Hellraiser franchise (Hellraiser: Judgment), is scheduled to release on Blu-ray and DVD February 13, 2018.
