Nana was discovered at age 10, by a modeling agency scout who spotted her while she was shopping with her mom. And thus, began a successful career in modeling for some of Brazil's most well-known brands. By the age of 17 she appeared in commercials for top products such as Ellus, Forum, Sao Paulo Alpargatas, De Millus, Zoomp, among others. From elementary school through high school, Nana traveled to Sao Paulo, a 6-hour bus trip and Rio 14 hours away for modeling jobs, but that never dissuaded her from her studies and after graduating High School, she was college bound.
At 19 after a short marriage that produced her two beloved daughters Daphynie (b.1992) and Angel (b. 1993) she moved to Rio; the babies stayed living with her mother; where she attended the prestigious university, "Faculdade da Cidade," majoring in acting. Although at the time Nana was considered one of Rio's top models, she was determined to transition into acting. In college, her professors recognizing her diverse range suggested she for various acting roles. And before long she was landing principal parts in a slew of well-known TV shows, a necessity as she was the sole support of her children.
After college her acting career really took off: highlights include starring as "Pantera do Faustao" in "Domingao do Faustao" in TV Globo (1996); she was the host of "Domingo Milionario" on TV Manchete (1997), where she was a regular star on "Banheira do Gugu" on SBT (1998-99), she starred in many of TV Globo's network series such as "Amigos,"(2000), "Megaton"(2000) , starred in the novella "Porto dos Milagres" as Lindinha in 2001, in the comedic TV Series "A Turma do Didi" as a regular role (2001 to 2007), in 2004 she did "Sob Nova Direcao" for TV Globo, in 2006 she did "JK", a TV Globo Mini-series as "Ninon Vesuvio" and "Bicho do Mato" for TV Record (2006). Conspiracao Filmes produced TV special "True Stories" about beautiful women which Nana was one of the main stars. The program was made for E Entertainment Television and broadcast internationally and in the USA. It aired in 2010. That year Nana also starred in a popular sitcom "Vendemos Cadeiras" and was a judge in the reality show "Casa Bonita" on the Multishow Network.

She has also graced the cover and pages of countless Brazilian and Portuguese magazines including tabloids, beauty, healthy and style magazines and even Playboy.
In the fall of 2011, Nana's life and career pivoted to New York City. She took a break on her career in order to study English and acting in New York City. Years before landing the iconic role of Scarlett O'Connor on the CMT/HULU TV series Nashville (2012) and launching her career as a singer/songwriter, Clare Bowen, a pediatric cancer survivor, was growing up in Dharawal Country on the Minnamurra River, Australia.
Bowen heard her first broadcast of the Grand Ole Opry on the wireless in her granddad's kitchen. Soon after, her classical vocal coach paused one of their lessons to comment on the country lilt that had naturally crept into Bowen's voice.
It would be another decade or so before she'd duet with heavyweights like Zac Brown and Vince Gill, recording with Grammy-winning producers such as T Bone Burnett and Buddy Miller, but those early experiences helped plant the seed, pushing Bowen toward Nashville. NASHVILLE ran for six seasons, with 20+ soundtracks, selling over one million album units and over five million single downloads to date. Bowen, a lead in the series, continues to reunite for international live tours.
A sought after actor on both sides of the Atlantic, Bowen earned critical praise in the controversial Australian film The Combination, directed by David Field, and in the leading role of Wendla in the Sydney Theatre Company's musical production of Spring Awakening. It was during this time that Bowen took the advice of the STC's artistic director, Oscar winner, Cate Blanchett, and headed to Los Angeles in 2012. During her first year in America, she caught the bus to her Nashville (2012) audition and landed NASHVILLE. When asked whether she could play the banjo, Bowen replied "probably" and learned.
After the series wrap of Nashville (2012) in 2018, Bowen and her singer / songwriter husband, Brandon Robert Young joined Grammy winning duo SUGARLAND on their Still The Same reunion tour, opening for the country heavyweights in arenas across the US, and afterwards returned to Australia to star alongside one of her heroes, film veteran, Bryan Brown (Cocktail (1988) Australia (2008), Along Came Polly (2004)) in the award winning horror series Hungry Ghosts (2020).
In 2019, Clare set out on a 16 month long headline tour in support of the international release of her highly anticipated eponymous album, which sold out across the UK, US, Germany and Australia.
2020 saw Bowen and Brandon Robert Young form Cinematic Americana duo BOWEN * YOUNG. The duo, signed to UK label Snakefarm Records, made a splash opening for Billy Joel in London, followed by their own sold out shows across the globe. BOWEN * YOUNG's debut album is set for release in May, 2024.- Erin Dilly was born on 12 May 1972 in Royal Oak, Michigan, USA. Isabelle Huppert was born March 16, 1953, in Paris, France, but spent her childhood in Ville d'Avray. Encouraged by her mother Annick Huppert (who was a teacher of English), she followed the Conservatory of Versailles and won an acting prize for her work in Alfred de Musset's "Un caprice". She then studied at the Conservatoire d'Art Dramatique and followed an illustrious theatrical career, which includes Ivan Turgenev's "A Month in the Country", Euripides' "Medea" (title role) etc. She made her movie debut in Le Prussien (1971) and soon became one of the top actresses of her generation, giving fine performances in important films, like Claude Goretta's The Lacemaker (1977), as a simple-minded girl who falls in love with - and is betrayed by - a student, Jean-Luc Godard's Every Man for Himself (1980), as a prostitute, and Maurice Pialat's Loulou (1980), as an upper-class woman who is physically attracted by a young vagabond. She made an inconsequential US debut in Otto Preminger's Rosebud (1975) before playing a brothel madam in Michael Cimino's disastrous Heaven's Gate (1980), but she fared better in Curtis Hanson's The Bedroom Window (1987) (as an adulteress who witnesses an attack). Huppert has an extremely productive collaboration with Claude Chabrol, who cast her in several movies, including Violette (1978), in which she played a woman who murders her parents, and Story of Women (1988), in which she gave an excellent performance as a shameless abortionist, the last woman to be executed in France. More recent good films include Patricia Mazuy's Saint-Cyr (2000) and Michael Haneke's controversial The Piano Teacher (2001), as a sexually repressed piano teacher.- Actress

At just 18, Nancy Kwan was studying dance with England's Royal Ballet School, when she was spotted by producer Ray Stark, who tested her and gave her the starring role of a free-spirited Hong Kong prostitute who captivates artist William Holden in The World of Suzie Wong (1960). He was a martial-arts master, fluent in Chinese, and became a stunt coordinator and actor before his untimely death.
After returning to the US, Kwan appeared in numerous TV series, the NBC miniseries, Noble House (1988), and the CBS made-for-TV movie, Miracle Landing (1990). Dora spent her tender years as a tom boy, wrestling her brothers, wrangling a dog that outweighed her and sending soccer moms into a frenzy as she climbed things at the playground (higher than 5-year-olds have any right to climb). She began conservatory training in voice and cello at the age of 6. Between years of singing in choir at her parent's hippie church, to performing in cello orchestras and chamber groups, she spent a large amount of time on the stage. That desire to perform just became stronger, leading her to high school, where she invested her time acting in the fall plays and singing and dancing in the spring musicals. In between all of the singing, cello playing and acting, she was backpacking during the summers, working at the local pizza joint, thrift shopping at goodwill, and picking jokes with her brothers at nightly family dinners. She spent two college years studying acting in Baton Rouge (Geaux Tigers!) where she found her love for acting in front of the camera. That love and desire to be in the heart of the business, pushed her to buy an ancient convertible and road trip with her Dad from Boston to LA. Top down the whole way, sunburn and all. She loves Tinseltown, and the beautiful, creative people who live here. She enjoys to hike in the hills, still sings and plays cello in a band, acts in all kinds of things, fancy and not so much, and still bickers with her brothers whenever she can. Imagining and creating what life would be like as another human, and then becoming that human for a period of time - it's a vulnerable and expressive art that Dora continues to learn, practice, and explore. She can't imagine doing anything else with her life, for it brings her so much joy.
