L'humour était toujours au rendez-vous, et c'est ce qui a rendu l'émission aussi populaire à l'époque. Le principe de l'émission était simple; apprendre tout en s'amusant. La série comportait plusieurs personnages loufoques, cocasses et drôles dont tout téléspectateur se souvient encore à ce jour. Qui ne se rappelle pas Super Poche et Super Pourri, Bateman et Robine, Pat, Phil et Carrie Adam, Réal *pan. pan!* Spécialité, Jean-Sylvain Rogatien Dutrisac communément appelé le Téteux, Cendriller et sa fée détraquée (la fée Tuccini), Monica Bedang (une parodie de Sonia Benezra), le gros Dubé, Alexandre le poète, Dalio, Moufette Zigonneuse, Brenda Bibeauling, Dan Dalot et Cindy Kingpin, Sam Chicotte, etc. Il y avait un musicien/bruiteur « live » en studio (Gérard, la note S.V.P.!) pour accompagner les sketchs, les chansons, etc. On présentait également des vidéoclips. De plus, c'est dans cette émission qu'on apprend toutes sortes de trucs pratiques comme comment réparer un vase brisé, comment bien faire ses devoirs sans être déconcentré, quels mots prennent un X au pluriel, etc.
