"Empty Nest" tells of the day to day misadventures of a widowed pediatrician named Harry Weston and his two adult daughters, Barbara and Carol, who have come back to live with him after failed marriages.
The residents of the rural Scottish village of Glendarroch deal with issues ranging from crop failures and parish pump politics to infidelity, alcoholism and drug abuse.
The story follows the upwardly-mobile hopefuls at London-based investment bank, as they try to scramble up the corporate ladder, taking risks, eating up the pressure, and following their instincts in search of that elusive deal.
