- DirectorWes AndersonStarsJared GilmanKara HaywardBruce WillisTwo 12-year-olds, who live on an island, fall in love with each other and elope into the wilderness. While people set out on a search mission, a violent storm approaching them catches their attention.Probably as close to a perfect WA movie he will ever make. Lots of heart and nostalgia for being young and foolish. Such beautiful cinematography and love the music.
- DirectorWes AndersonStarsRalph FiennesF. Murray AbrahamMathieu AmalricA writer encounters the owner of an aging high-class hotel, who tells him of his early years serving as a lobby boy in the hotel's glorious years under an exceptional concierge. After MK, I didn't think WA could make another almost perfect movie, but dang he sure did with this one! Just so much fun and great style as always. This is pretty much his trademark style perfected entirely.
- DirectorWes AndersonStarsJason SchwartzmanBill MurrayOlivia WilliamsA teenager at Rushmore Academy falls for a much older teacher and befriends a middle-aged industrialist. Later, he finds out that his love interest and his friend are having an affair, which prompts him to begin a vendetta. It's been a while since I've seen it, but this is the movie that made me fall in love with Wes Anderson all those years ago in high school.

- DirectorWes AndersonStarsBenicio Del ToroAdrien BrodyTilda SwintonA love letter to journalists set in an outpost of an American newspaper in a fictional twentieth century French city that brings to life a collection of stories published in "The French Dispatch Magazine".Just saw it last night. I enjoyed it, though the three random short stories format was a bit jarring. Not that it was a bad format, it was just not at all what I thought the movie was gonna be, so it was a bit hard to follow at first. It consists of 3 main stories, one intro to the city these stories are based on. I enjoyed the 1st and 3rd stories, but the 2nd was a bit hard to follow and just not that interesting. I grew to like the overall package of this being stories written for this paper, but I wish Bill Murray and the writers had more time together to make it more cohesive. Still full of everything that makes his style unique, but it just was missing the heart that his previous movies all mostly had. If it just had more cohesion with the over arcing news paper format, it would have been truly special. Still enjoyed it overall and two the short stories are good, with one just just being middling.
- DirectorWes AndersonStarsLuke WilsonOwen WilsonNed DowdThree friends plan to pull off a simple robbery and go on the run.His first feature film. A fun little movie. It is completely devoid of his signature style. Just feels like a regular indie movie more than anything. Not bad, just alright.
- DirectorWes AndersonStarsOwen WilsonAdrien BrodyJason SchwartzmanA year after their father's funeral, three brothers travel across India by train in an attempt to bond with each other.Only seen it once, wasn't too crazy about it. I'll see it again eventually, but I just don't remember anything about it.
