- DirectorJames GunnStarsChris PrattChukwudi IwujiBradley CooperStill reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill rallies his team to defend the universe and one of their own - a mission that could mean the end of the Guardians if not successful. The last true MCU banger for a while (excluding Deadpool 3)
- DirectorRyan CooglerStarsLetitia WrightLupita Nyong'oDanai GuriraThe people of Wakanda fight to protect their home from intervening world powers as they mourn the death of King T'Challa.messy yet poignant and actually feels like a movie.
- DirectorJon WattsStarsTom HollandZendayaBenedict CumberbatchWith Spider-Man's identity now revealed, Peter asks Doctor Strange for help. When a spell goes wrong, dangerous foes from other worlds start to appear, forcing Peter to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man.Even without the nostalgia, I still think a lot of things this movie did with the story and characters was really well done. But the plot holes and script choices were still pretty noticable.
(8/10) - DirectorDestin Daniel CrettonStarsSimu LiuAwkwafinaTony Leung Chiu-waiShang-Chi, the master of weaponry-based Kung Fu, is forced to confront his past after being drawn into the Ten Rings organization.MCU and Martial Arts, what more could you ask for. And as a bonus, the directing is actually good, and the characters are well written, and have depth! Could've done it without the comedy and the cruddy 3rd act CGI battle.
(7/10) - CreatorMichael WaldronStarsTom HiddlestonOwen WilsonSophia Di MartinoThe mercurial villain Loki resumes his role as the God of Mischief in a new series that takes place after the events of “Avengers: Endgame.”A fascinating show that develops its leads and ideas, and is one of the few MCU shows to get me excited about the universe. But there was too much exposition and set-up to keep me interested the entire time. But it is still the best MCU Disney+ Show
(7/10) - CreatorJac SchaefferStarsElizabeth OlsenPaul BettanyKathryn HahnBlends the style of classic sitcoms with the MCU, in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision - two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives - begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.A fun romp in the MCU, developing its characters, an intriguing mystery, and a unique style. Wish they didn't explain everything and drop the ball in the finale.
(7/10) - DirectorSam RaimiStarsBenedict CumberbatchElizabeth OlsenChiwetel EjioforDoctor Strange teams up with a mysterious teenage girl who can travel across multiverses, to battle other-universe versions of himself which threaten to wipe out the multiverse. They seek help from the Scarlet Witch, Wong and others.Should've just let Sam Raimi do his thing. He was the best part in this mediocre film with bad writing, plot devices, but good editing and performances.
(6/10) - CreatorBisha K. AliStarsIman VellaniMatt LintzZenobia ShroffKamala, a superhero fan with an imagination--particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel--feels like she doesn't fit in at school and sometimes even at home, that is until she gets superpowers like the heroes she admires.A show that did have some good stuff, like Iman Vellani, and some the directing, that was brought down by a show that isn't sure what it wants to do
(6/10) - StarsJeremy RennerHailee SteinfeldFlorence PughSeries based on the Marvel Comics superhero Hawkeye, centering on the adventures of Young Avenger, Kate Bishop, who took on the role after the original Avenger, Clint Barton.Had a better finale than other MCU shows, but there's just way too much filler, and they didn't flesh out Clint and his story enough. Like Kate Bishop, and the action is decent.
(6/10) - CreatorDoug MoenchStarsOscar IsaacEthan HawkeMay CalamawySteven Grant discovers he's been granted the powers of an Egyptian moon god. But he soon finds out that these newfound powers can be both a blessing and a curse to his troubled life. What should've easily been the best Disney+ show was mostly just an underdeveloped story and low stakes. Oscar Issac was great though.
(5.5/10) - StarsJeffrey WrightTerri DouglasMatthew WoodExploring pivotal moments from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turning them on their head, leading the audience into uncharted territory.A show that wastes its ideas for mediocre stories, with bad pacing, and mediocre animation.
(5/10) - DirectorCate ShortlandStarsScarlett JohanssonFlorence PughDavid HarbourNatasha Romanoff confronts the darker parts of her ledger when a dangerous conspiracy with ties to her past arises.A movie that wastes its premise for a safe and generic Marvel story with bad jokes and lazy writing. Enjoyed Florence Pugh, and some of the action scenes were decent.
(4/10) - CreatorMalcolm SpellmanStarsAnthony MackieSebastian StanWyatt RussellFollowing the events of 'Avengers: Endgame,' Sam Wilson/Falcon and Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier team up in a global adventure that tests their abilities -- and their patience.A series that had some good stuff, like John Walker and Isaiah Bradley, but should've done a better job fleshing out the two leads, and again, the finale dropped the ball.
(6/10) - DirectorChloé ZhaoStarsGemma ChanRichard MaddenAngelina JolieThe saga of the Eternals, a race of immortal beings who lived on Earth and shaped its history and civilizations.A movie that never takes the time to develop its own ideas and characters, which resulted into being the worst MCU Phase 4 movie, and one of, in not the worst, MCU movie.
(3/10) - DirectorNia DaCostaStarsBrie LarsonTeyonah ParrisIman VellaniCarol Danvers gets her powers entangled with those of Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau, forcing them to work together to save the universe. It's so over.
- CreatorJessica GaoStarsTatiana MaslanyGinger GonzagaMalia ArrayahJennifer Walters navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered Hulk.A show that doesn't care to develop any of its ideas introduced. It doesn't care about developing its main characters. It tries to be funny, but it fails miserably. The effects are some of, if not the worst VFX in the MCU, and is tedious to get through. The worst product in MCU Phase 4. (3/10)
- DirectorTaika WaititiStarsChris HemsworthNatalie PortmanChristian BaleThor enlists the help of Valkyrie, Korg and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster to fight Gorr the God Butcher, who intends to make the gods extinct.Has some nice moments between Thor and Jane, and some neat action, but the film can't take anything seriously, undermining the story. And what's worse is that this isn't funny. This film cost $250m, but somehow, it still looks cheap. (3/10)
