Julie Benz was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA on May 1, 1972. Julie's father is a Pittsburgh surgeon and her mother is a figure skater. The family settled in nearby Murrysville, when Julie was two, and she started ice skating at age three. She competed in the 1988 U.S. Championships in junior ice dancing with her partner David Schilling, coming in 13th. Her older brother and sister, Jeffrey and Jennifer, were 1987 U.S. Junior Champions in ice dancing and competed internationally. When Julie was 14, she had a bad stress fracture and had to take time off.
By 1989, with her figure skating career over, Julie turned to acting and got involved in the local theater where she got a role in the play "Street Law". Her first movie role was a small credited speaking part in the Black Cat segment of the Dario Argento/George A. Romero co-direction horror flick, Two Evil Eyes (1990), playing in one scene alongside Harvey Keitel. A year later, she got a role on a TV show called Hi Honey, I'm Home (1991).
After graduating from high school, Julie entered New York University to study acting there. After graduation, Julie moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her career and landed some small roles in movies and TV shows including a guest appearance on Married... with Children (1987) and in the Aaron Spelling TV pilot Crosstown Traffic (1995).
In 1996, Julie auditioned for the role of "Buffy" in the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997), but lost out to Sarah Michelle Gellar. However, she was offered a small role as a vampire girl in which she did such a good job that her part was expanded to a few more episodes in playing the vampire "Darla". With that, Julie Benz's career had finally taken off. She reprised her role as "Darla" in the Buffy spin-off series Angel (1999) for two years and has had several small roles in various film productions. She also had a small, but memorable, role playing a receptionist in the movie As Good as It Gets (1997).
Even after her role on Angel (1999) wrapped up, Julie continued to find work on television in playing many guest staring roles in numerous popular TV shows from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000), to Supernatural (2005), to playing the lead and supporting roles in various made-for-TV movies. She landed another notable role on the TV-cable series Dexter (2006) playing "Rita", a troubled divorcée and lover of the title character played by Michael C. Hall. Benz played a leading role in the TV series No Ordinary Family (2010) playing Stephanie Powell along with actors Michael Chiklis, Kay Panabaker, Jimmy Bennett, Autumn Reeser, Romany Malco, and Stephen Collins.
In 2013, she had the starring role in the sci-fi / fantasy breakout hit show Defiance (2013).All My Children- Anne Betancourt is known for Fools Rush In (1997), Mission: Impossible III (2006) and To Live and Die in L.A. (1985).The Bold And The Beautiful

Nathan Fillion was born on 27 March 1971 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He is the son of Cookie (Early) and Bob Fillion, both retired English teachers, and has an older brother, Jeff. His father is of French-Canadian descent, and his mother is of English, German, Finnish, and Norwegian ancestry. In Canada, he attended Holy Trinity Catholic High School, Concordia University College of Alberta and University of Alberta. Before moving to New York City in 1994, he participated in improv theatre, including Theatresports with Rapid Fire Theatre and improvised soap opera Die-Nasty. He also appeared in a TV Movie Ordeal in the Arctic (1993) starring Richard Chamberlain and in Strange and Rich (1994).
Fillion's first regular role was on a daytime soap opera, One Life to Live (1968), as Joey Buchanan, for which role he was nominated in 1996 for a Daytime Emmy Award. He left the series after three years in 1997. During the late 1990's, he appeared in small roles in the films Saving Private Ryan (1998) and Blast from the Past (1999). Fillion also guest starred on Das Bootie (1997), Mama's Got a Brand New Bag (1998) and Starcrossed (1999). His biggest break by then happened in 1998, when he was cast as Johnny Donnelly on the 2nd season of Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (1998) opposite Traylor Howard, Ryan Reynolds, Richard Ruccolo and Suzanne Cryer. He starred on the show for 60 episodes.
After "Two Guys" ended in 2001, Fillion gained critical acclaim and a large cult of fans when he starred as Captain Malcolm Reynolds on the Joss Whedon's Firefly (2002). Unfortunately the show was prematurely canceled in late 2002. He also guest starred on several episodes of two short lived TV shows, Pasadena (2001), as Rev. Glenn Collins and Miss Match (2003), as Adam Logan. In 2003, Whedon gave Fillion another chance to display his range when he cast Fillion as the twisted preacher Caleb, a villain, in the final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997). Before and after "Firefly", Fillion appeared in many movies, Dracula 2000 (2000), Alligator Point (2003), Water's Edge (2003), If Dad Only Knew (2004) and Hollywood Division (2004).
Whedon vowed to resurrect "Firefly" in some way, and Fillion played Captain Reynolds again in the feature-film Serenity (2005). Fillion followed this film with more big screen leading roles, in the horror-comedy Slither (2006), in White Noise 2: The Light (2007), in the indie hit Waitress (2007) opposite Keri Russell and in Trucker (2008). He also continued to be a force in television, starring in the short-lived Fox-TV series Drive (2007) and appearing on a recurring role as Dr. Adam Mayfair on the 4th season of ABC's Desperate Housewives (2004), opposite Dana Delany. He also appeared on I Do (2006) and was a voice actor on many video games (e.g. Halo 3 (2007)).
In 2008, he took his first singing part (and cemented his cult appeal) as Captain Hammer in Whedon's musical Internet smash Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008), with Neil Patrick Harris, Felicia Day and Simon Helberg. In 2009, he was cast as the title character Richard Castle in ABC's hit television series, Castle (2009). The show has aired more than 160 episodes and Nathan Fillion has won four People's Choice Awards for Favorite Dramatic TV Actor, as of 2016. In 2018, Fillion took the starring role in The Rookie (2018) as John Nolan, a contractor who starts over as a rookie police officer in the LAPD after a life-altering event. Besides starring on "Castle", he has appeared in many movies, in Super (2010) as The Holy Avenger, in Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing (2012) as Dogberry, the incompetent chief of security, in Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013) as Hermes and in Thrilling Adventure Hour Live (2015).
His credits as a voice-actor are numerous: on Bright Lights, Dean City (2010) as Brown Widow, in Wonder Woman (2009) as Steve Trevor, in Green Lantern: Emerald Knights (2011), Justice League: Doom (2012), Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox (2013) and Justice League: Throne of Atlantis (2015) as Hal Jordan/Green Lantern, in Robot Chicken: DC Comics Special (2012) as Green Lantern/Mr. Freeze, on American Dad! (2005), in Pixar's Monsters University (2013) as Johnny, in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) as Monstrous Inmate and on Gravity Falls (2012) as Preston Northwest. He also voices the lead, Shojun in the animated movie, Yamasong: March of the Hollows (2017). General Hospital- Chet Grissom was born in Washington D.C. He is the youngest of three children born to F. Dewayne Grissom and Lynn Turner Grissom and lived the first ten years of his life in the D.C. suburbs of Bethesda and Darnestown, MD. It was while he was attending Darnestown Elementary that his choir teacher convinced him to audition for a local dinner theater production of "Bye Bye Birdie" when he was eight years old. He was cast and that experience changed his life. He was hooked. In 1975 his family moved onto a boat (in which he lived until he was 18) in St. Petersburg, FL and he continued doing plays and musicals locally at the St. Petersburg City Theatre (where a young Angela Bassett also performed) and at the (now gone) Showboat Dinner Theatre, where he met such actors as Robert Cummings and Nanette Fabray. He attended three different high schools, graduating from the Visual and Performing Arts Program at Booker High School in Sarasota, FL. Fellow students at the time were Oscar winner Bill Corso and comedian Lynne Koplitz. After graduating he left Florida to attend the Goodman School of Drama (now The Theatre School at DePaul University) in Chicago, IL where he received a BFA in Acting. Fellow students at the time included Kevin J. O'Connor, Oscar nominee John C. Reilly, and Emmy winner Gillian Anderson. As a freshman he volunteered to usher for the final preview of the original production of the play "Glengarry Glen Ross" which was in the intimate space at Chicago's Goodman Theatre. What he witnessed that night changed him on a deep level. After graduation he spent the next ten years immersed in the thriving Chicago theatre scene, working everywhere from tiny storefront black box theaters to the large stage at the Goodman Theatre and everywhere in between. At the Goodman Theatre he was in the cast of Shakespeare's "Richard II" which also included a young Nick Offerman, Chris Bauer, Chicago legend Mike Nussbaum, and future Broadway star Raúl Esparza. In 1997 he made the trip west to Los Angeles in classic Hollywood style with everything that he owned in an old Honda Accord. Knowing nobody (except other unemployed actors), it took some time to gain traction. He started doing theater and going to film and TV auditions, landing a commercial after his first year and small parts in television after his second year. By his third year he finally started working on a consistent basis and hasn't stopped since. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Lisa Kenner Grissom.Port Charles

Born in Hackensack, New Jersey, Tom Kiesche grew up in a household of seven, a tall, awkward target of school bullies until discovering the comradery of weight rooms and the self-discipline of Okinawa-Te Karate. A multi-sport athlete throughout college, he graduated with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. His life changed one electric evening when Kiesche followed a whim and walked into a Theatre Sports improv comedy show. This experience lit a long-dormant fuse, and within a month he was on stage with that same company. His presence did not go unnoticed, and local directors were soon approaching him for more serious roles, impressed by what they saw in the tall, muscular man, with classic good looks and impeccable comedic timing.
As a gift to himself on his twenty-fifth birthday, Kiesche gave notice to the Fortune 500 company he was working for and moved from New Haven to New York City, joined the award-winning troupe Mission Improvable and honed his skills working Off-Broadway and in regional theatres. When not acting, he wrote constantly, completing everything from screenplays and sketch comedy to full-length plays. He also studied at several schools, including Playwright Horizons, HB Studios, and Michael Howard Studios. The effort paid off. Kiesche appeared on most of the major television shows shot in New York City before moving westward to Los Angeles.
Since the move, Kiesche has worked steadily in films, television, commercials, voice-overs, plays, musicals, cabaret, comedy shows, improv shows, sketch shows, and even works that he wrote and produced. He is a graduate from UCLA's Screenwriting Program and has optioned several screenplays and had seen his work produced in film, on stage, and through various other platforms.
His credits include the lead in Richard Halpern's political satire W.M.D, a recurring role as Clovis on the award-winning series Breaking Bad, a series regular on both the hilarious comedy School & Board and the streaming series A Girl Named Jo, and a one-man show that showcased Kiesche's rich, powerful singing voice and sharp writing. Most recently he played Sheriff Langford in Jeff Hare's Into the Arms of Danger and appeared with Dan Levy in a 2021 Superbowl commercial. A physically imposing man, Kiesche is an even more remarkable performer. Versatile and accomplished, he is at once charming, subtle, confident, and captivating.
Never one to take his success for granted, Kiesche has also published four books, teaches and advises aspiring actors at universities and acting schools. He also donates hundreds of hours every year to organizations dedicated to animals' wellbeing. As The World Turns

Jeff Kober was born in Billings, Montana, on 18 December 1953. Not satisfied with being a rancher, Kober relocated to the L.A. area in his twenties with the desire to become an actor. His first appearance on the small screen was a non-billed role in the 1980s series V (1984). Kober went on to supporting roles in the highly acclaimed Vietnam War drama China Beach (1988) and the short-lived, but now-cult horror series Kindred: The Embraced (1996). Following these series, Kober has guested on some of the most popular television series of the day. Kober's big screen career began with the film Out of Bounds (1986), in which he played the first of his signature nefarious characters - Roy Gaddis, a small-time drug dealer with murderous inclinations. This role led to more film opportunities in The First Power (1990), Tank Girl (1995) (a comedic turn), Defining Maggie (2002), World Without Waves (2004), and the remake of The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007), among others. Never one to balk at taking a chance in the acting field, Kober has also appeared in several short independent films - the Academy Award-winning Session Man (1991) and, most recently, Lucid (2006), another film that has garnered a number of awards at independent film festivals across the country. He has done extensive stage work, most prominently, as "the father" in Jenny Sullivan's autobiographical work "J For J" and "Defying Gravity". A fellow actor once told James that he would "be the last man standing." Prophetically, that has come to pass...
As an actor working in film, TV, and theatre (on and off-Broadway), James Macdonald's distinguished career has spanned over thirty-five years. Starting with his debut performance as a young actor appearing with Jennifer Jason Leigh in Uli Edel's "Last Exit to Brooklyn," he has shared the big screen with some of Hollywood's heaviest hitters, including Harrison Ford, Denzel Washington, Colin Farrell, Jessica Biel, Tommy Lee Jones, Niecy Nash, Dennis Quaid, Josh Hutcherson, Josh Harnett, Rosario Dawson, and John Travolta, Mahershala Ali, Stephen Dorf, to name just a few.
He has worked with legendary directors such as John Woo, Clint Eastwood, Spike Lee, Joel Schumacher, Lisa Cholodenko, Irwin Winkler and Nic Pizzolatto in varying and diverse types of roles across the genres of comedy, drama, thriller, horror, and science fiction. From his portrayal as the iconic character of porn star/poet Garth in "Sex and the City" to Dwight Yoakum's bumbling sidekick in "Hollywood Homicide" to the sadistic drill sergeant in "Tigerland" and the cocky small-town cop in "Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D" (who has his face torn off), James has utilized his chameleon-like acting skills to convince audiences of those characters' pathos, authenticity, and humor. Born and raised in West Berlin, Rudolf moved with his family from Berlin to Paris to Italy, arriving in the United States a short time after his high school graduation from the Universite de Paris. While studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, he landed his first professional role in the Susan Seidelman short film The Dutch Master, which was nominated for a 1994 Academy Award. He went on to appear in the off-Broadway plays Murder In Disguise, The Dumb Waiter, and Front Page. All My Children- A third-generation actress on both sides of her family, Robin was born in a trunk. Actually, she was almost born in a taxi on the Brooklyn Bridge but traffic was good that day so she made her actual debut at Beth Israel hospital in New York City. Her parents, both professional actors, owned and ran legit theaters, in Aspen, Atlanta and Syracuse and had a very practical philosophy: "If you have children, use them." Consequently, Robin grew up on stage, backstage, in the box office and selling cookies in the lobby. Classically trained since the age of two, including several years with the prestigious Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Robin has since split her time between stage, film and television. Even after starring in countless TV series and films, the stage remains Robin's favorite version of soul food.
Her television work includes starring roles as a series regular in six series, among them: The Gregory Hines Show (CBS), Thunder Alley with Edward Asner (ABC) the groundbreaking SHOWTIME series, Brothers (two Ace Award nominations for Best Actress in a comedy) two series for FOX including the cult classic comedy Get A Life, in which she played Chris Elliott's nemesis. One particular episode, in which Chris and Robin play rival stars in a community theatre production, was named by TV Guide as "One of the fifty funniest TV moments of all time."
Robin has had recurring roles in several popular series including Reba, Hung, and Boston Legal as well as guest-starring roles on dozens of shows; playing Hector Elizondo's ex-wife on Tim Allen's Last Man Standing, Bones, Switched at Birth, Anger Management with Charlie Sheen, NCIS, and Justified, to name but a few. TV movies include, This Magic Moment, Holly's Holiday and the mini-series Gone But Not Forgotten opposite Brooke Shields.
The Indie film, The Wedding Party, will be making the rounds of the festival circuit soon and the John Sayles cult classic, Alligator, in which Robin stars opposite Robert Forster is having a "behind the scenes" DVD release in the near future.
Her stage credits include All My Sons with Neil Patrick Harris at The Geffen Playhouse, (Ovation nomination for Best Supporting Actress), George Furth's play, Sex, Sex, Sex, Sex, and Sex at the Matrix (LA Weekly nomination for Best Supporting Actress), Les Liaisons Dangereuses at The Blank Theatre (Ovation nomination for Best Actress) Pied a Terre- (Off-Broadway) Welcome to the Woods (Off-Broadway and part of the New York 400 Festival), Bernard Slade's I Remember You with Tony Danza at Garry Marshall's Falcon Theatre, and The Kiss at City Hall at the Pasadena Playhouse, Cannibals at the Zephyr Theatre and productions of Ladies Room in both Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Smart, talented African-American actor Michael Warren could have followed in the star shoes of Sidney Poitier but Denzel Washington beat him to it. Best remembered for his Emmy-nominated role as police officer Bobby Hill in the Steven Bochco crime series Hill Street Blues (1981), Mike's respected turn on this quality show should have led to much bigger things.
Lloyd Michael Warren was born in South Bend, Indiana in 1946, the youngest of three children. Excelling in sports at South Bend Central High School, he earned a scholarship to the University of California, Los Angeles, where he majored in television, radio and film. Mike later became an All-American basketball star at UCLA under the legendary John Wooden, and served as the team's captain for two years. His Bruins teammates would include Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar (then known as Lew Alcindor), Lynn Shackleford, and Lucius Allen. His strong leadership and prowess on the court as a guard helped propel UCLA to two NCAA national championships during the years 1966-1968.
Following an unbilled role as a basketball referee in the film Halls of Anger (1970), Mike received his first big acting break by chance when a job as a technical consultant for the basketball sequences in director Jack Nicholson's film Drive, He Said (1971) led to an on-camera featured role in the film. Developing an ad agency in Los Angeles to counterbalance the unsteadiness of a fledgling acting career, he landed some commercial work here and there before earning his first regular role on the short-lived TV series Sierra (1974). He proceeded to take his earnest young mug to such "blaxploitation" films as Cleopatra Jones (1973) and to daytime programming with a 1976 stint on Days of Our Lives (1965). After more episodic work and a failed series pilot, not to mention a supporting role in the basketball-themed comedy Fast Break (1979), Mike hit the TV jackpot with the award-winning, critically-acclaimed Hill Street Blues (1981).
Possessing the same kind of street savvy and cerebral handsomeness as Denzel, Mike seemed a shoo-in for film stardom. Instead, his career moved rather slow and erratically after the end of his hit series in 1987. He did co-star with Cicely Tyson in the holiday season greeter The Kid Who Loved Christmas (1990), and with D.B. Sweeney portraying a basketball coach in Heaven Is a Playground (1991), but, outside of this, nothing of great significance followed. Other series work came and went, the best of the bunch being a recurring role on the series Soul Food (2000).
Broaching the millennium, Michael was featured in the films A Passion to Kill (1994), The Hunted (1995), Trippin' (1999), Mother and Child (2009) and Anderson's Cross (2010) and American Skin (2019), but primarily found work on TV. He was a co-star on the hospital series City of Angels (2000), was given recurring roles on Soul Food (2000) and Lincoln Heights (2006) and Single Ladies (2011), and appeared in guest spots on "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer," "JAG," "The District," "Night Stalker," "Girlfriends," "Criminal Minds," and "Sadie and Emmie."
Nevertheless, Mike continues to work, has a stable home life and presently lives in Los Angeles with his second wife, Jenny, and their two children. He also has two children from his first marriage.Days Of Our Lives- Actor
