Star Matt Bomer, the actor behind con artist Neal Caffrey, is hyping up a possible revival of the comedy-drama. “There has been talk. The series, which aired six seasons between 2009 and 2014, also starred Tiffani Thiessen, Marsha Thomason, Sharif Atkins, Hilarie Burton, Natalie Morales, and the late Willie Garson. According to TVLine, there is “very legitimate talk” about a revival of White Collar, the USA Network drama starring Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay, Willie Garson, and Tiffani Thiessen.
“There has been talk. It’s actually very legitimate talk, it’s in conversation,” Matt Bomer said, adding that “a lot of things need to fall into place, but there is a plan in effect, at least, so we’ll see what happens.”
Matt Bomer starred as Neal Caffrey, a highly intelligent and multi-talented con artist, forger, and thief who is forced to work as a criminal informant and FBI consultant. DeKay also starred as FBI Special Agent in Charge Peter Burke, Willie Garson as Mozzie, Neal’s close friend and fellow con artist, and Tiffani Thiessen as Elizabeth Burke, Peter’s wife. A long in the works revival of White Collar may be coming to fruition.
Matt Bomer, who played a reformed conman on the USA Network series from 2009–2014, told TVLine that “there has been talk. It’s actually very legitimate talk, it’s in conversation. … a lot of things need to fall into place, but there is a plan in effect, at least, so we’ll see what happens.”
Bomer and creator Jeff Eastin began talking about a White Collar revival in 2020 during a charity cast reunion on the Stars In the House YouTube channel. “There is nothing I would want than to be on a set with this group of people again,” said Bomer, who organized the reunion. “There are real conversations happening. There seems to be a lot of excitement about it.”
White Collar certainly isn’t the first old favorite from USA that is looking for a second lease on life.

No more pencils, no more books. No more Saved By The Bell, either, as the rebooted sitcom’s cancellation by Peacock is now in effect.
It comes only a month after the comedy won Outstanding Comedy Series at the GLAAD Media Awards. It’s also something of a surprise, in that the first season of the show reportedly did well for the streamer. The reboot featured a new class of kids at Bayside High and the return of series originals Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, Mario Lopez and Lark Voorhies, who was a guest star in a season one episode.
So far, only Gosselaar has taken to social media to express his views on the cancellation. We’ll update as more come in.
So disappointed by this news. So many talented individuals in all departments creating something original from a reboot. Respect and admiration to everyone involved and thanks to the viewers.

Saved by the Bell‘s Kelly Kapowski gave up on becoming a doctor when she agreed to marry Zack Morris during The College Years — a decision Tiffani Thiessen’s alter ego reevaluates during Season 2 of the Peacock revival.

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you have not watched the second season of “Saved by the Bell,” streaming now on Peacock.
In conceptualizing her continuation series of “Saved by the Bell,” Tracey Wigfield knew there were certain things fans of the original series would be waiting to see. On the top of that list was the romantic reunion of Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley Lauren) and A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez). After realizing they still had feelings for each other, they finally kissed again, 30 years in the making, in the second season finale.
“What are we doing here if Slater and Jessie aren’t going to hook up?” the showrunner says with a laugh. “When I watched the ‘90210’ reboot, I had very little personal connection to that show, but I was like, ‘When are the people who kissed 30 years ago going to kiss again?’ There’s just a part...

Saved by the Bell paid tribute to Dustin Diamond during today's season premiere.
Samuel "Screech" Powers' former friends joined forces at The Max to honor their late friend.
Diamond died in February of lung cancer at 44 years old.
Screech was not a part of the freshman season of the reboot, but the series teased that he moved to the International Space Station with his robot companion Kevin.
The episode picks up with Zack and Slater talking in the Bayside High School's parking lot, and we learn that Morris lost his re-election bid for governor of California to Prince Harry.
“Anyways, it doesn’t matter. Worst things happened this year,” Zack tells his friend before asking:
“Are you going to the thing at The Max?"
“I don’t know. I’ll have to see," Slater responds.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for Saved by the Bell, Season 2, Episode 1.] Saved by the Bell is back and paying tribute to one of its vets as the original stars honor former colleague Dustin Diamond, who famously portrayed Screech. The actor, who was born in 1977, died earlier this year at the age of 44 due to a battle with Stage 4 lung cancer. Now, Peacock‘s revival has brought together original cast members Mario Lopez, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Thiessen, and Lark Voorhies for a memorial of sorts. The installment focused on the Bayside High kids returning to school following virtual learning during the pandemic. (Credit: Everett Collection) While the students are busy making up for lost time, the adults are dealing with some serious problems, including combating depression. It’s clear from the start of the installment that coach Slater (Lopez) is working through a tough time as he attempts to push physical activity as...

Even admirers of the movie “Showgirls” can concede that it was not a movie with its star’s best interests in mind.
The 1995 box-office bomb was, in its moment, pilloried for its indulgent taste for sleaze; with some distance, it’s possible to see it as director Paul Verhoeven’s lovingly manic embrace of American trash culture. But re-evaluating the movie hasn’t rescued the prospects of its star, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, who as recently as last year said she was “bullied” for the role and made “a pariah in the industry I had worked so hard for.”
For all the glee that imbues “Showgirls,” there’s a bummer of a story at its center: Berkley Lauren (who at the time of “Showgirls” just went by Berkley) won worst actress at the mean-spirited Razzie Awards and had limited future prospects. Coming off her role on the teen show “Saved by the Bell,...

When Peacock’s “Saved by the Bell” reimagining drops its second season on Nov. 24, it will pay tribute to original cast member Dustin Diamond right from the premiere episode.
