The show is getting a lot of play on VH1, with new episodes on Sunday nights, and it’s a lot of fun. Sketch comedy based on pop culture, Stevie takes on the persona on stars from your favorite reality nonsense to parody the world around us.

Exclusive: VH1 has picked up a new half-hour weekly pop-culture show headlined by YouTube star Stevie Ryan. Stevie TV, which has received a 10-episode order for a 2012 launch, will feature comedian Ryan’s satirical take on the pop-culture events of the previous week, including reality show happenings and celebrity and politician blunders. Ryan is best known for her YouTube videos, which have garnered over 80 million hits. In them, she impersonates such top celebrities and reality stars as Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber as well as VH1′s own Mob Wives and Audrina Patridge. Ryan created Stevie TV with Dan Levy and James Kirkland. Brian Volk-Weiss, Michael Pelmont, Dan Levy, Stevie Ryan and Darren Belitsky are executive producing for New Wave Entertainment; and Noah Pollack, Jill Holmes, Stacy Alexander and Jeff Olde for VH1.

Stacy Alexander has been upped to senior vp talent and casting at VH1.
Alexander oversees a talent department responsible for connecting talent with particular programming ideas, be they the talent's own ideas or projects generated by VH1's production and development executives.
Alexander, who was vp talent and creative, joined VH1 in 2001 as director of casting after serving as the in-house casting director at Spelling Entertainment.
In addition, VH1 announced three other promotions in its talent department: Leah Horwitz has been upped to vp music talent and creative development, and Trevor Rose and Denise Bishop have been named directors of talent and creative development.
