This production premiered on Broadway at The Ethel Barrymore Theatre 14 December 1960; the production was designed by George Jenkins and directed by Otto Preminger, with clothes by Oleg Cassini.
- Performed in the Original Broadway Cast of the musical "My Darlin' Aida" written by Charles Friedman, and based on the 'Giuseppe Verdi' opera "Aïda". Orchestrations were by Hans Spialek; Musical Direction by Franz Allers; Choral Direction by Robert Shaw. This production premiered 27 October 1952 and ran until 10 January 1953.
- Performed in the original Broadway cast of the Samuel L. Manning & Adolph Thenstead musical "Caribbean Carnival" opposite Claude Marchant, legendary dancer-choreographer Pearl Primus, and Josephine Premice; this production ran for eleven performances from 5-13 December 1947.
- Played the 'Townsperson' in the 1964 Original Broadway production of James Baldwin's "Blues for Mister Charlie" opposite Al Freeman Jr., Lincoln Kilpatrick, Rosetta LeNoire, Joe Don Baker, Ann Wedgeworth, Diana Sands, and others. The production was directed by Burgess Meredith.
- Played the character "Virginia" in the original Broadway cast of the Jackie Mason & Mike Morton comedy "A Teaspoon Every Four Hours". She appeared opposite Jackie Mason, Marilyn Cooper, Lee Meredith, and others. The show was directed by Jeremy Stevens with incidental music by Joe Raposo. Unfortunately, this show opened and closed on 14 June 1969 with only one performance.
- Was a replacement for actress Diana Sands's character "Beneatha Younger" in the original Broadway production of the Lorraine Hansberry play "A Raisin in the Sun"; this production was directed by Lloyd Richards and it ran from 11 March 1959 to 25 June 1960 for a total of 530 performances.
- Was an original Broadway cast member of the James Baldwin play "Blues for Mister Charlie" opposite Al Freeman Jr., Lincoln Kilpatrick, Percy Rodrigues, Ralph Waite, Joe Don Baker, Ann Wedgeworth, and Rosetta LeNoire. This production was directed by Burgess Meredith.
- Was an original Broadway cast member of the musical "My Darling Aida" which was based on the Giuseppe Verdi opera "Aïda". Music was arranged by Hans Spialek and conducted by Franz Allers; Choral direction was performed by the legendary Robert Shaw.
