Peacock’s Saved By The Bell revival dropped its second season on Wednesday and the premiere features a tribute to Screech, the character played by Dustin Diamond who died in Feb. from cancer.
In the episode titled “The Last Year Dance,” the story picks up a year after the events from the Season 1 finale.
Zack Morris (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) are casually catching up in Bayside High’s parking lot after the former has dropped off his son Mac Morris (Mitchell Hoog).
It’s is revealed that the elder Morris lost his re-election bid for Governor of California to Prince Harry before an ominous conversation takes place between the best pals about their buddy Screech.
“Anyways, it doesn’t matter. Worst things happened this year,” Zack tells Slater after confirming he lost the governorship. “Are you going to the thing at The Max?”
Slater replies, “I don’t know.

The old gang is back together again! A new trailer for Peacock’s “Saved by the Bell” offers the first look at Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen reprising their roles of Zack Morris and Kelly Kapowski, respectively.
And let’s face it, for much of the audience of this upcoming streaming sitcom, John Michael Higgins’ Principal Ronald Toddman puts it best, “I just care about Zack and Kelly!”
The new trailer, which you can watch above, speaks directly to fans of the original late-1980s/early-1990s Saturday morning series with callbacks such as A.C. Slater (Mario Lopez) calling Jessie Spano (Elizabeth Berkley Lauren) “Mama,” as well as spinning a chair around so he can sit down in it backwards. It also shows all four of those original cast members taking the stage for what appears to be a Zack Attack reunion in the style of Zack’s infamous...

If you were around in the late 80s and early 90s, you will have heard of ‘Saved by the Bell’. This popular American sitcom, which aired on NBC between 1989 and 1993, was a rehash of ‘Good Morning, Miss Bliss’, a Disney Channel series. It was about a group of friends at high school and focused on comedic situations. However, ‘Saved by the Bell’ also touched on many serious topical issues. The series was created by Sam Bobrick, and it starred Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lope, Dustin Diamond, Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, Elizabeth Berkley, Lark Voorhies, Ed Alonzo, and Dennis Haskins. Nostalgia is such a great thing. It brings us back to a time where we all enjoyed the simple things and didn’t have to pay bills! Am I right? Well, teen comedy turned Saturday morning hit series, Saved By the Bell is one of the shows that bring back all of the nostalgia, especially if you’re a product of the 80s and early 90s like myself. Saved By the Bell ran from 1987 under its first name of Good Morning, Miss Bliss up until 1994, ending with The College Years. Great news for Sbtb fans, Shout Factory has released a totally awesome Saved By the Bell: The Complete Collection boxset!
The boxset includes 118 episodes from the series, including the Saved By the Bell movies, thirteen episodes of Good Morning, Miss Bliss, and The College Years. It also includes a lot of special features. More on the awesome special features later.

Marketing machines use pop culture-driven immersive experiences to fuel the hype of studios big-time titles. Warner Bros. has been on top of its game with a frightening It house as well as an Easter egg-filled maze for Ready Player One. When the cult hit Twin Peaks was revived by Showtime last year, Los Angeles became the home of the Roadhouse, the popular bar in the series. During SXSW, HBO set up a fully operating Westworld complete with a saloon and in-character “hosts” that reset every couple of hours.
But all of these experiences were created with the studios involved. With Saved by the Max, an uncanny, nostalgic replica of the high school hangout in the popular ’90s teen series Saved by the Bell, NBC initially wasn’t involved. It was all done by fans of Zack Morris and the gang.

At one point in "Make Believe," the mother of the aspiring 17-year-old magician Krystyn Lambert describes her daughter as finding a home in magic since "it's a little world of oddballs." Ordinarily, Krystyn wouldn't fit the profile. Compared at one point to Britney Spears for a combination of looks and talent, the blonde from Malibu who serves as student council president at her high school wouldn't appear to be an outsider, but in fact she's clearly set apart in her drive.
J. As older magicians such as Lance Burton and Ed Alonzo (best remembered as the Max's resident illusionist on "Saved by the Bell") explain throughout its 90-minute running time,...

Last night, I did something I never thought I would do: I left the office, took the subway to Madison Square Garden and showed my ticket to an usher so that I could be let into the Britney Spears concert, the second of her three Circus stops in New York this week. The idea was to get the perspective of somebody not used to big spectacles, and I walked away educated and confused but — ultimately — pleasantly surprised.
Not only had I never seen Britney Spears live, but I also have very little experience with giant pop shows or even arena acts. I've lived in New York for 10 years and have been to Madison Square Garden countless times for basketball games, but prior to last night the only concerts I had ever seen there were R.E.M., AC/DC and an ill-advised Barenaked Ladies show (that one was for a...

Several photos of Michael Jackson's last rehearsal are unveiled. In the pics, which were taken at L.A.'s Staples Center on Tuesday night, June 23, the 50-year-old singer looked happy and energetic as he moved his body during the rehearsal for his upcoming comeback tour, which was actually scheduled to be kicked off in London next month.
Magician Ed Alonzo told Us Magazine that Jackson appeared completely fine when dancing to his songs. "Michael was on stage performing the numbers, singing and dancing with the cast," Alonzo said. "It was a privilege to be able to watch the concert that no one will see now."

Following Michael Jackson's death on Thursday, 750,000 people who bought tickets to see him perform at the O2 in London will never get the chance to experience the stunning visual and musical spectacle the singer had in store for them. But, according to reports, Aeg Live, the promoter of the "This Is It" 50-date residency, recorded enough of Jackson's rehearsal material to release at least one live CD/DVD.
Entertainment industry Web site The Wrap reports that Jackson's final rehearsal at the Staples Center on Wednesday was recorded in multi-camera, high-definition video and multi-track audio. The recording could be released as the singer's final album, according to unnamed sources close to the now scuttled tour, which was reportedly due to go around the globe following the O2 residency.
