Bob Anderson(XVI)
- Actor
Bob started acting in the 5th grade with a school production of "You're
a Good Man, Charlie Brown", and has enjoyed performing ever since. He
grew up in the San Fernando Valley in California where he had the good
fortune of starring in a Chatsworth High School performance of
"Star-Spangled Girl" opposite Val Kilmer. During his senior year of
high school, Bob competed in the drama festival as a mime, and won
second place. The first place winner passed on the first place prize (a
scholarship to Richmond Shepherd School of Mime) to Bob, stating Bob
was "an inspiration to mime". Bob joined the USAF in 1979, and toured
with "Tops in Blue", the Air Forces elite traveling talent showcase in
1982, where he displayed his comedic talents in pantomime and acting.
While performing in a community theater production of "The Odd Couple",
Bob landed a role in a German movie-made-for-TV production of
"Fraulein". After nine years in the Air Force, Bob came back to
California to pursue a career in computers. Today, Bob works for a
high-tech company videotaping, producing and editing multimedia
marketing projects. He continues to act whenever time allows, enjoys
performing pantomime, and extremely enjoys spending time with his
children (Niccele and Zachary), and high school crush, Tedi
Forest (Kimbrel).
