"It's an end to an era, and people are losing their jobs," she said of canceled daytime soaps. "It sucks that they don't get the respect that they deserve. I grew up on soap operas."
Spreitler said she didn't worry too much about her soap opera experience on Days when she started auditioning for other roles, although she did wonder if casting directors might hold it against her.
