Larry Auerbach, an Emmy-winning TV director who helmed such soap operas as Love of Life, died Saturday in La Jolla, Calif. He was 91. His son, Scott Auerbach, confirmed in a statement that Larry died of complications from brain cancer, according to CBS News. Read more Revenge of the Soap Opera: Ratings Up 15 Percent Larry's career included a 28-year run directing the CBS daytime series Love of Life.
