Bonnie Ahlstrom’s passing was documented on the latest episode of Sister Wives and her daughter Meri Brown reflected on the “heartbreaking” ordeal.
As Monsters and Critics reported, Meri’s beloved mother, Bonnie, died suddenly and unexpectedly in March 2021 at the age of 76.
During the September 25 episode of Sister Wives, viewers watched the scene as Meri received the heartbreaking news.
Meri had received a call that her mom was ill and rushed to try and make the five-hour drive from Flagstaff, Arizona to Parowan, Utah in the hopes of seeing her mother one last time before her passing.
Unfortunately, Meri didn’t make it in time and she tearfully shared the news during a tearful car segment.

Apple TV+’s limited crime drama series “Defending Jacob” came to an end Friday, and the final episode features a mind-boggling plot twist.
The story follows the Barber family, made up of Laurie (Michelle Dockery), Jacob (Jaeden Martell) and Andy (Chris Evans). When Jacob is accused of murdering his eighth-grade classmate Ben Rifkin (Liam Kilbreth), Andy, the assistant district attorney assigned to the case, crosses legal lines to prove his son’s innocence.
The final episode sees Jacob acquitted of the murder, but Laurie’s relief is short-lived. It turns out that Andy was hiding the truth from her that his father, convicted murderer Billy Barber (J.K. Simmons), had hired someone to frame child sex offender Leonard Patz in order for his grandson to go free.
What happens next is shocking. Laurie, whose mind has been slowly unraveling throughout the season, finally reaches her breaking point — she takes Jacob for...

It's difficult to believe that someone could be so cruel.
Defending Jacob Season 1 Episode 5 welcomed the superb J.K. Simmons into the fold as Billy Barber, and boy, he's a piece of work.
Billy made his bed when he murdered a young woman, so the very notion that he feels his son has failed him by not getting his sentence reduced was absurd.
What should have been a father pleading with his son for forgiveness was a man pulling strings because he was in a position of power.
Andy is understandably affected by his childhood, mostly because of that visit with his father in prison. There's resentment from Andy because he feels like his father robbed him of a childhood.
Defending Jacob plays with expectations, and it was refreshing that the creative minds behind the show zeroed in on how wicked Billy is.
He baited Andy on multiple occasions. He wanted a reaction from his son,...

Apple TV+ has released a sneak peek of Friday’s upcoming episode of “Defending Jacob,” and it involves a tense run-in with Andy Barber’s estranged father, who is in prison for murder.
J.K. Simmons plays Billy Barber opposite Chris Evans, who stars in the series as Assistant District Attorney Andy Barber. Andy’s career is derailed after his son, Jacob, is accused of murdering a classmate. Things become more complicated once it is revealed that the family already has another member in prison for murder and sexual assault.
In the upcoming fifth episode, “Visitors,” out May 8th on Apple TV+, Andy (Evans) visits his father Billy (Simmons) in prison for the first time since he was a kid — and later learns some troubling information from Jacob’s friends Derek and Sarah.

Here is a wrap up of all the news you need to know from Thursday, May 7, 2020.
NBC's The Blacklist has a new series regular for Season 8.
The hit drama has promoted Laura Sohn, who recurs as FBI Agent Alina Park.
TV Line first reported the news.
Sohn arrived on The Blacklist Season 7 Episode 7, and took over the job left by the exit of Mozhan Marno's Samar.
Alina quickly became a fan-favorite, and we're sure she will continue to make a big impact on Season 8.
The series was forced to shut down due to the Coronavirus pandemic, with multiple episodes unproduced.
In order to bring the season to a close, the episode will feature a mix of live-action and animated scenes.
Yes, really.
It will certainly make for a different kind of finale.
Meanwhile, Apple TV+ drama Defending Jacob is set to introduce a key recurring player this week in J.K. Simmons.

In reporting Apple’s Q2 earnings last week, CEO Tim Cook revealed “an all-time record in Services,” noting that Apple TV+ was doing well as more people watched content while under lockdown. The streamer’s latest original scripted series, Defending Jacob, might be a prime example.
Apple is known for closely guarding information, and, like other streamers, Apple TV+ has not released viewership data, with only a few snippets surfacing last fall about how viewers consumed the service’s offerings during its November launch weekend. Apple TV+ debuted four original live-action scripted series at launch, led by flagship The Morning Show, the service’s most award-recognized show, which also is believed to be its most popular original.
Apple TV+ appears to have had its biggest debut since then with the new limited series Defending Jacob, starring Chris Evans. According to sources, Defending Jacob ranks among the top three series premieres...

Scared Stiff (1987) will be available on Blu-ray April 23rd from Arrow Video
TV star Mary Page Keller (Pretty Little Liars) appears alongside Andrew Stevens as a couple terrorized by an age-old curse in this much-underrated late-80s offering from director Richard Friedman.
Keller plays Kate Christopher, a singer who moves into an old colonial mansion with her son and psychologist boyfriend David (Stevens). But when they make a strange and gruesome discovery in the boarded-up attic, it soon becomes clear that the mansion carries with it a dark and blood-stained past and one that is about to terrorize them in the present.
The second feature helmed by Richard Friedman, who went on to direct such genre favourites as Doom Asylum and Phantom of the Mall: Eric s Revenge, Scared Stiff (Aka The Masterson Curse) builds to an astonishing practical FX-laden climax sure to please fans of 80s horror. >/p>
