Some cliche somewhere said that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words.’ This has proven to be the case for me and especially when it comes to fan art. I have always sought out great fan art and have wanted to share it with as many people as possible. “Awesome Art We’ve Found Around The Net” is the outlet for that passion. In this column, I will showcase the kick-ass artwork of some great artists, with the hopes that these artists get the attention they deserve. That’s the aim. If you have any questions or comments, or even suggestions of art or other great artists, feel free to contact me at any time at theodorebond@joblo.com.

Death metal vets Six Feet Under have announced a new album, Killing for Revenge, arriving May 10th via Metal Blade Records. The opening track “Know-Nothing Ingrate” can be streamed now, offering a vicious tease of the full album to come.
Gut-punching rhythms blast away as frontman Chris Barnes spews misanthropy through coarse guttural vocals. It’s a smothering three minutes of frenetic death metal, which shouldn’t surprise anyone whose familiar with the band’s 30-plus years of output.
“I chose the title Killing for Revenge after we completed writing and noticed that all the lyrics and storylines had a common theme of revenge,” Barnes said of the LP in a press release. “Revenge by human or revenge by nature. The album title describes the flow of the stories within the lyrics perfectly.”
Killing for Revenge will be the second album released under the Six Feet Under name since Barnes...

Bollywood Salman Khan’s upcoming spy action film ‘Tiger 3’ has an interesting connection with Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan, whose latest release ‘Opphenheimer’ made waves at the box-office.
Production banner Yash Raj Films has roped in Hollywood action director Mark Scizak. Mark has previously worked with Christopher Nolan in visual spectacles like ‘Dunkirk’ and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.
“Yrf Spy Universe is the coolest franchise in our country. The super-spies from this universe have always won over people’s imagination. But when you deliver such monstrous hits with Tiger, Pathaan and War, the expectation of people naturally become sky high! They want to see what is new to be offered to them! Here Yrf is playing all the cards right by taking the visual spectacle notches above with every film!” says a source.
The source added: “If you look at the line-up of action directors in Tiger 3, you will...

The Ranger director Jenn Wexler will be raising hell this Christmas with ’70s set supernatural horror movie The Sacrifice Game, and Shudder’s unveiled a stunning new poster by Chris Barnes to prove it.
The Sacrifice Game will world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival on July 28 and will launch later this year on Shudder.
Fantasia describes The Sacrifice Game as “a gripping and stylish ‘70s-set chiller involving school girls, power-mad killers and occult prophecy,” filled with both “gore and lore.”
Between the description and the new poster below, we’re in for more holiday horror with a supernatural twist.
In the upcoming horror movie…
“It’s bad enough that boarding school students Samantha and Clara can’t go home for the holidays, but things take a deadly turn when a gang of cult killers arrives on their doorstep—just in time for Christmas.”

A few years ago, I had a lot of fun watching Jenn Wexler’s feature directorial debut The Ranger (you can read my 8/10 review Here), so I’m looking forward to checking out Wexler’s second feature, the 1970s-set supernatural horror film The Sacrifice Game. Attendees of the Fantasia International Film Festival will have the chance to watch the movie this Friday (at 9:30pm) – and in anticipation of the film’s festival premiere, a poster has been unveiled! You can check it out at the bottom of this article.
Wexler wrote the screenplay for The Sacrifice Game with Sean Redlitz, crafting a story with the following synopsis: It’s bad enough that boarding school students Samantha and Clara can’t go home for the holidays, but things take a deadly turn when a gang of cult killers arrives on their doorstep—just in time for Christmas.

For folks who loves both baseball and movies, it's incredibly sad that Hollywood's takes on our national pastime continually whiff with a frequency that makes Adam Dunn look like Joe Dimaggio. But 40 years ago today, a film was released that got everything beautifully, hilariously and even painfully right: The Bad News Bears. A tartly-scripted comic saga about a no-hope Little League team from L.A.'s San Fernando Valley, the film — directed by Michael Ritchie from an original screenplay written by Bill Lancaster — shocked and amused audiences with its unbridled...

Toshi tends to start a movie night with a sort of weird meditative state he goes into while standing in front of the bookcase full of his Blu-rays. He can stand there for a half-hour reading titles and asking me questions, and it always entertains me to hear him slowly circle in on the thing he wants to see. Just because there have been some R-rated titles in the mix recently doesn't mean it's become a free-for-all, and there are plenty of things Toshi would like to watch that I still believe he's not ready to see, leading to some tense negotiations. What I find most interesting about those negotiations is how vividly I remember holding them from the other end of the equation. When I wanted to see a film as a kid, if my parents had any problem with it, I would turn into Clarence Darrow. I would...
