In the wake of the destruction left in Haiti after an earthquake registering 7.0 on the Richter scale destroyed much of the area in and around the country's capital of Port-au-Prince, celebrities ranging from Selena Gomez to Adam Lambert have taken to Twitter to encourage their followers to send aid to the devastated nation.
Since the earthquake on Tuesday, more and more celebrities have been tweeting about the news. "If u have fam/friends n Haiti, I am sending much luv 2 u rite now," Tyra Banks tweeted. "Phones r down n i know it is beyond hard 2 not reach your loved ones. My thoughts are still with all those suffering in Haiti during this major catastrophe.
