Warner Bros. Animation (Wba) has promoted two executives to new roles, the company announced Thursday. Jay Bastian (pictured above, left) has been elevated to Senior Vice President, Series, and operations chief Ed Adams has been promoted to Senior Vice President & General Manager. Bastian will continue to report to Wba President Sam Register and work closely with Peter Girardi, Wba’s Senior Vice President, Creative Affairs, in Wba’s creative team. Warner Bros. Animation has assembled the final pieces of its new senior executive team, naming Peter Girardi to the newly created position of senior vp series and alternative animation and appointing Ed Adams senior vp business and legal affairs and administration.
Additionally, Jay Bastian has been named vp series.
The moves represent the completion of the division's executive restructuring under Warner Bros. TV president Peter Roth.
Girardi will oversee the creative for series and production of animated titles for nontraditional markets.
Bastian will handle day-to-day production for the company's TV series, including Cartoon Network's "Batman: The Brave and the Bold."
Adams will direct such nonproduction operations as business and legal affairs.
